This is a good introductory book in performance measurement. It offers a team approach methodology for organizations desiring improvement. It is an excellent pratical guide for the novice.

Tarnopolsky delivers a haunting tale of human rights in the Soviet Union. The story focuses on the author's imprisonment and battle with the Soviet government to grant him emigration from the USSR. The first-person narrative focuses with chilling detail on describing the author's experience in the Soviet Labor Camps. However, Tarnopolsky constantly shifts from the first-person-narrative to philosophical drivel on the nature of man that sometimes seems like he's using up space.

It's an amazing book. This book has a good picture and offer lots of stories and tall tales abouy my greatest athlete, Michael Jordan. Makes me inspirated on playing basketball. Buy this book and you will not regret it !

This book is well worth reading, especially for men who want to understand and do something about gender based violence. It is accessible and addresses the issues in a down to earth way providing insights significant for both men and women. Suitable for high school age through adult.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I literally couldn't put it down! It was very well-researched, fast-moving, and loaded with interesting anecdotes, some funny and some sad. "Mendeleyev's Dream" covers two millenia of the development of chemistry from art to science, including the discovery and characterization of some of the more colourful elements on the periodic table. I found one or two minor technical errors, but in all I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in science and history both.

This 77 page booklet includes a brief biography of Revolutionary War veterans who lived in Mercer County. Sources are given for each veteran. For War of 1812 and Civil War veterans there is an alphabetical list of the veterans with the cemetery in Mercer County, Pa where they are located. An index of Rev. War veterans and bibiliography is included at the end of the booklet. As an added bonus, the Yorktown Journal of Capt. James Duncan of Hazen's Regt is transcribed.

Mercurial is a solid adventure for Shadowrun and worth getting even tough conversion work for the third edition will be neccesary. The adventure is split into two parts, the first involving the runners with Mercurial via her scuzzy manager Max, and the seconed half dealing with all of the nasty stuff that the runners are involved with by becoming to close to this person. The run has alot of versitility ranging from (big) gunfights to heavy decking to taking on some of the nastiest paranotmal types around (dragons anyone) . The thing that stands out more, though, is the opportunity for roleplaying as opposed to the movie style action. The plot is very NPC charecter driven. The motivations and desires of the people involved are realy what the story is about. This puts it a cut above the average "go steal the thingy" type adventure. What I liked about the run was the cool plot, the neat twists and the opportunity for the charecters to make a significant contribution to their reputation and bank accounts. On the other side, the foes can range from nasty to murderous. One wrong move and there will be street pizza for everybody so good planning is essential.

This was a deeply informative study with interesting insights.

The pictures are large and of a very high quality. The book is devided into 6 sections, which seem tied to the life stages of michelagelo rather than the subject matter or technique. I bought this book to study the technique and style so the pictures are were very usefull but the organizations wasn't hellpfull. The texts which accompany the drawings do a very good job of discribing the techniques michelagelo used.
