Another great Northwall book
1100 years had passsed since The Time of the Fire, and civilization was slowly returning to what had been the Mississippi Valley. The male-dominated plains nomads had begun to settle peacefully around the citadel of Northwall, where they freely married with townsfolk. A new culture was evolving. But all was not well. Pelbarigan's conservative families longed for the old times: when their city led and Northwall followed; when plainsmen and citadelfolk were enemies. . .when women ordered & men obeyed!

"Don't Feel Sorry for Paul"
It was suggested to me by someone very dear, to read this book. I can not tell you how it has changed my life. This young brave man, must be one of great determination and conviction to have met his challanges . I would imagine if one were to meet Paul Jockimo, you would be blessed beyond belief. Maybe someday, who knows, he will sign my copy of this book.
I thank the man who suggested my finding this book. His friendship has made a difference to me by sharing this book.
You see, we have choices in life to make, and Paul Jockimo made his, and that was to be the great person he would become. We have a chance in life to make a differnce, and he has.

Its a wounderful work, the best poems i've ever read
I'm absoutly in love with "Don't Forget to Fly." I think that it is a wounderful show of how real poetry is. It makes you think with Poems like "Acomplishments" and "Suicide's Note." Its beautful, but at the same time mysteryious like "Strawberrys." I'm very happy and excited that I have a copy of this book which is sort of hard to find. I love it and cherish it dearly. It helps me come up with ideas to write about, and even with its serious and some what deep topics it speaks up. It also has funny or errelivent ones like "Poet's good-bye to his teeth" Or "Cat." But this book also holds my favorite Poem in the world. A Poem For Suicide. "The cool, clear face of the river asked me for a kiss." I hope you chose to read this book, it really is something else...

Don't Look Up: The Real Story Behind the Virginia Ufo Sightings

A Good Book About the Anatomy of a UFO Event
Paul Dellinger's years of reportorial skills allowed him to do a most excellent job detailing the UFO events in this book, events that were eventually aired on the TV Show UNSOLVED Mysteries. Paul is detailed oriented writer as is his partner Danny Gordon. I was one of the speakers at the public gathering in Rural Retreat, and they got the details of what I said with very little error. That alone is hard to do in this day and age of the soundbite. The events detailed in the book happened as outlined. The mystery of what really happened remains like all UFO events thus far-unsolved. Unknown to Danny and Paul, after the talk at the Community College, many lcally prominent citizens contacted me privately and related suspected abduction experiences to me. I did not follow up as at that time I did not give much credibility to abductions. But the book is well done and a good addition to the research library of anyone interested in the subject of UFO's.

A Unique Insight
This book is difficult to describe. I have read over a hundred religion books and this one is certainly in my top five. The insight gathered from this book helped me to understand that trials and suffering in the life of a christian are purposeful and necessary far beyond anything that we generally acknowledge. This is a must read for any person who considers themselves a christian! This book will help you to understand the pain that life can bring and to make sense of it in the light of God's will for you!

Downtown: A History of Downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul in the Words of the People Who Lived It

Excellent
I really enjoyed this book. Being a resident of the Twin Cities for virtually my entire life (over 40 years) I could relate to most of the places mentioned in the book. The book itself is actually a fine collection of stories from people that actually lived in Minneapolis and St. Paul from the late 1800's thru the mid 1900's. These stories are interspersed with comments and background from the author/editor, who does a marvelous job of tying them all together. More than just a dry, factual history of the area, it brings alive what daily life was like for residents back then, and how it changed over the decades with the introduction of the car, movies, and even bathtubs. From the heydays of the 1890's to the Urban Renewal days of the 1950's, it made me aware of how much we've lost from those days, how far we've come over the years, and the wrong turns and detours we've made along the way.
