I would highly recommend this book for young kids interested in imaginative inventions. "Creative inventors", so to speak.

"...an interesting and in depth look at Dassonville's life and work in a well-researched essay."
"...beautifully produced book...." 48 color duotone plates printed at 200 line screen on coated paper.
"This important new monograph reveals the life and work of 20th century pictorialist William Dassonville. The artist's exquisite style is only now beginning to be understood and appreciated, nearly fifty years after his death."
No self-respecting IT or COMM specialist should go anywhere without this in their back pocket... It's only 20bux to boot!
I know I sound like a commercial, but I was THAT impressed with this handbook. I normally never write reviews. This handbook warranted it. It's definately going to make the IT or COMM specialist more productive, as it will save a TON of time in research.
Kudos to Paul Rosenburg, et. al.

Grounding their argument in the well-accepted science of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the authors describe in clear language the imperative to dramatically reduce global greenhouse gas emissions over the next 50 years. Importantly, they endorse the current ideas about international emissions trading as a low-cost way to achieve these cuts, but they then lay out an ethically grounded argument for ensuring that this trading is structured in a fair and equitable way--both for people in poorer countries and for people in future generations. Moreover, they are careful to defend the political viability of their proposed solutions.
Written in direct and comprehensible language, Dead Heat is a forceful call for more serious action to address the social and environmental consequences of climate change and climate change policy.
