The Toy Campain is a exiting book that makes it's point
The Toy Campain is an exciting book but it is not all about magic, John Bibee wanted to show you how greedy we can get and what we do when we are trapped in the desires of this world When children are tricked by desires for toys, all that they think about is getting more they dont care who gets hurt in the attempt. It seems like Susan Kramer is the only one whose mind is still clear. Why is her cousin John Kramer acting so strange? You will have to read it and see.

Tradition and Testament: Essays in Honor of Charles Lee Feinberg

A Fine Tool and a great compilation of theological articles
Dr. Charles Feinburg is a scholar and the people that have contributed articles compiled in this book are outstanding. The book essentially deals with a lot of Old Testament materials. I happen to take interest at John Feinburg's article on "Old Testament Salvation". This book was truly helpful as I was working on a paper for Adavenced Biblical Studies, on the very same topic.

Trail of Dreams
I found this book to be very easy reading and enjoyed it very much. The boy's adventures taught them many values that I'm sure could be used the rest of their lives. They were honest and reliable young men who learned how to manage their lives and enjoy the ride. I believe today's young people would profit by reading this book.

Transaction Costs and Trade Between Multinational Corporations: A Study of Offshore Oil Production (World Industry Studies, 9)
Published in Hardcover by Unwin Hyman (June, 1991)
Author: C. Paul Hallwood
Amazon base price: $85.00
Average review score:

AN EXCELLENT ANALYSIS OF A MAJOR NATURAL RESOURCES INDUSTRY
If you want an indepth analysis of the global offshore oil supply industry this is it. It discusses the dominance of the leading mainly American oil supplies companies (such as Halliburton) in all oil provinces both inside and outside the USA. The struggle of the UK to gain a foothold in the supplies industry is described - with American companies retaining control of virtually all aspects of offshore oil technology that can be exported to other countries. The book also gives a detained aspect of various theoretical topics including those of tenderbidding for contracts issued by the oil majors (i.e. the buyers from the service companies) and the theory of the multinational corporation. There is also a discussion of various legal factors as they relate to the offshore oil supply industry.

Transformations in Slavery : A History of Slavery in Africa
Published in Paperback by Cambridge Univ Pr (Pap Txt) (November, 1983)
Author: Paul E. Lovejoy

Islam laid the framework for the Atlantic Slave Trade
Paul Lovejoy, in his study of the Transformation in Slavery within Africa from 1450 to 1900, poses that slavery in Africa changed due to external influences such as the Islamic trans-Saharan trade and the Trans-Atlantic Trade, and due to the dynamics of internal forces such as a social structure based on ethnicity and kinship. The transformation that took place was the emergence of "a system of slavery that was basic to the political economy of many parts of the continent," a system that expanded through the end of the 19th Century, structured on the "interaction between enslavement, the slave trade, and the domestic use of slaves within Africa." The transformation occurs in three stages: from 1450 to 1600, the Islamic trade; from 1600 to 1800, the Trans-Atlantic trade, and the 19th Century, the internalization as a result of the breakdown of exterior slave trade.

Loved It - Hated One Thing!
Loved the content. A great book. Not how to do it, but more of a look into the minds of some great editors.

One major flaw is a result of a great idea - gone wrong. Text is presented over image backgrounds. This makes for tired eyes at the end of a long read. In a few cases, there is black text on very dark background. You have to want to know what it says to put the effort into reading it. I'm sure there will be many negative comments on this aspect of the book.

However, I'm sticking with my 5 STARS. I believe the content was that good. There was only one chapter that I found ordinary. Great insights on almost every page.

An Incisive and thoughtful account of Transport Deregulation
This is one of the most insightful and provocative books I have ever read on the subject of Transport de-regulation, its place, its politics, and the effects of market forces in today's industrialised societies. An invaluable insight for every modern academic, and interested lay-reader. A must as we enter the new millenium !

Traumatic Pasts : History, Psychiatry, and Trauma in the Modern Age, 1870-1930

Excellent Historical Overview
Micale's and Lerner's anthology of essays on the historical development of the concept of trauma in the modern age is a superb addition to the literature. Beginning with the editors' introduction and throughout all of the individual pieces in the book, the authors display a command of the field and a depth of knowledge about trauma in history that is hard to find anywhere else. The essays are exceptionally well written, and cover an interesting array of subjects, from more traditional histories of "shell shock" as a precursor to traumatic psychological injury to the less frequently examined historical origins of the concept of sexual trauma. Despite the expense of the volume, it is well worth adding to the shelf for anyone (academics, professionals, and lay reader alike) interested in understanding the historical underpinnings of the burgeoning field of trauma studies.
