Paul Chudecki has filled this small book with just about everything anyone that is either an owner of , or just interested in , the V8 engined range of Aston Martin Lagondas. He covers the development and racing heritage with a wealth of illustrations and pictures of many wonderful examples of the marques , many of them quite unique . The thirteen chapters and six appendices cover every aspect of the various marques that the V8 engine was fitted to including the DBS & Vantages , Lagondas and even the Zagato & Bulldog specials and prototypes. He has a vast repository of information to pass on and manages it superbly in this concise and well laid out book , even managing a chapter advising on the points to look for when buying and a complete reference on chassis and engine numbers for easy identification of any model found ! I found this book to be both informative as well as very absorbing as the information is given in a very easy flowing style with no lapses into geek speak.

Well worth the money either as a definative reference book or a fascinating coffee table quick read .

Nice book for fans of the movie. The screenplay in both
English and Inuktitut, many glossy photos (both movie shots and
other related material), and background info both on the movie
and on Inuit culture, history, geography, etc. I would've
liked even more background information, for example on the
language of the movie, on its reception, on the actors, etc.
If your looking for a gift for someone who was into the movie,
good choice. (Especially if that someone is you yourself.)

I am a college student and read this book for a young adult literature class. I really enjoyed reading this book and found it very entertaining. I highly recommend this book. For all of those faithful Paul Zindel readers out there, this book is a must read!

On page 15 the figure 1.9 shows four capacitors in series, the conclusion drawn is that the four capacitors add their individual values to equal their combined sum. I'm not a rocket scientist but I believe this is incorrect. The only way to add their values is to have them in parrallel, this is completely reversed from how resistors work. I hope this can help you, the rest of the book is very well written and informative.

This book is very informative on a wide variety of subjects in the Electrical Trade.It has helped me in the preparation of numerous exams and interviews.The drawings are well detailed.

This book is typical of the Audels books in that it fairly concisely covers the important areas of the topic. It is a resource book that most people could use for several years before needing to go to another reference for technical aspects.

This is a great way to entroduce anyone to the joy of bird watching. Reading descriptions below each picture, and seeing fully illustrated versions that are included are also helpful. Taking the time to learn the shape and coloring of each bird, helps to really learn to identify a specific bird when it is seen later. This is a fun hobby for adults also. A great way to be artistic, if you have only a little talent in drawing.

I enjoyed navigating through this book and found it useful. The book gave me ideas and hints to make my trip more enjoyable
