I have been waiting anxiously for this book to come out since I got my copy of A Decade of Guess? Images 1981-1991 years ago, and as soon as I saw the second decade book was out I bought it.... not only are these books truly gorgeous, but they actually appreciate in value ...

Anyway, as always you are left wanting more, which is a faint downer, but it also makes you want to get hold of the catalogues Guess? put out during the year of each season's clothes - I've started looking around for them on sale 2nd hand because I want to see the photos that have been left out! Looking at the changes in style through the decade is of course fascinating, the different styles of each photographer and how everything ties in with the style of Guess? itself. There is very little writing in the book which leaves you open to fully concentrate and absorb each photograph, although I personally would have liked a little more detail on each of the shoots such as the names of all they people involved and the role they filled, maybe a few anecdotes, etc.

I don't have a favourite photo or a favourite shoot. I think this book may actually be better in regards to that than the first book. In this book while there is a lot of variety, there is more of a 'feel' for what is wanted from each shoot.

Buy it. You absolutely cannot regret it.

Secret Affairs of the Soul is an amazing book which helps the reader identify with those experiences we sometimes have in life and yet really wonder about their validity. Hawker has explored and researched that we are not alone, had not lost it, but have crossed that thin line between the earth and what is spiritual. Through his use personal examples and examples from people around the world this book definitely leaves you with much to think about.

A great book for finding and seeing France from another vantage point. There is great detail and information about this country not found in travel guides. The information about French people and their unique life styles is invaluable to the traveler. This book is such a find, outlining marvelous places to experience and know about. The color photography is great, with insight into "hidden" France. I can't wait to use this book in France.

This is a very good play, another example of Jeremy Paul's excellent writing. What most people don't know is that Jeremy Brett helped write this play! He worked hard to help it get going , even though he was already diagnosed with Manic Depression at this time. He was VERY enthusiastic about it, but thought that the play wouldn't run for very long. The play ran for over a year! I recommend this play to people who are fans of Sherlock Holmes, Jeremy Brett, or actors (like myself) who enjoy fine plays.

Actually, this book is excellent for people who are not only thinking about becoming self-employed but who are already self-employed and want to understand better the mentality transition from being an employee to being a business owner. Paul and Sarah Edwards are engaging. They present the information sincerely, thoroughly and realistically without spoiling the dream. In fact, their own passion for self-employment and enthusiasm for helping others to be successful in their own business is evident throughout. I enjoyed this audio book because it addresses what books on the mechanics of operating a business leave out - that is the kind of mindset, the fears and ability to overcome them required to be a successful business owner. As a business owner, one tends to be isolated and does not have a boss to go to for advice and guidance. Paul and Sarah Edwards are an excellent coaching team. Rich with instructions, insights, examples and exercises for self-employed people to develop themselves as their own leaders, I found this book extremely valuable. I have listened to it several times already and with each listen, I glean more golden nuggets!

the concepts are clearly,step by step,explained. as an adult who has no background in science , this book has taught me the laws of motion;from newton to quantom. the basics of physics were well done. if an understanding of the ideas behind the science is what you seek then this is your book.

What a fantastic idea for a poetry book--letters written to kids by poets. It is full of inspiring advice along with from-the-heart poems. The letters and poems can be instant minilessons.
I can't wait to share this book with teachers and students.

I enjoyed this book immensely. The author, a great yogic master, explains in simple terms and with clarity the many mysteries of the mind, the soul, God, and the state of spiritual liberation. He reveals the secrets of meditation, the mantra and the Kundalini energy. In doing so, he provides the tools and lays out a path towards full spiritual liberation. I have been on the spiritual path for a very long time, and his teachings has given my search a much needed boost. I am deeply indebted to him.
