Exciting adventure book, technically sound, a good read!
When I found this book I wasn't sure I'd like it. Boy,was I wrong! It is a great semi/supenatural adventure story! Being part of the firearms industry and a martial artist I found the action correct and realistic. The story flowed smoothly and logically and still managed to surprise me. I highly recomend this book to anyone who likes this type of genre.

Very informative on the basics of aeronautics and navigation
This was the first great book I've read concerning aviation. With only moderate knowledge of aviation previous to reading this book, I was very pleased with the enormous amount I had learned. Though it is very informative and intended for adult readers, this is not at all a complex, hard-to-understand book. I read it a few years ago when I was about ten or eleven years old.

A Must For Anyone Interested In The Landscape!
This small book, with a simple title, Understanding Ordinary Landscapes, is a huge resource in the area of cultural landscape, and our connections through culture to nature. The initial attraction was the fun and entertaining sound of the title- understanding ordinary landscapes. Something for recreational travel reading? It was not to be. Months later I have yet to reconcile more than a few of the classical issues, dilemmas, enigmas, and debates in this seemingly simple subject area of our relationship to the world we live in.

Understanding Ordinary Landscapes is a collection of contemporary cultural landscape essays and is a theoretical basis for comprehending the mysteries of perception of the landscape, the environment, and furthering the culture versus nature discourse. It brings critical analysis, and an annotated bibliography to the relatively new area of landscape architectural theory. A must for professionals and anyone interested in the landscape.

An Indepth Analysis of Paul's Writtings
Richard Anderson's "Understanding Paul" is one of the most overlooked scriptural studies ever written. Anderson analyzes the main themes of each of Paul's epistles using Paul's own writings as a guide. History and background for each epistle helps the reader understand why Paul wrote each letter. Anderson challenges many long held ideas about what Paul was trying to say - and does so with strong evidence! Don't miss out on this very helpful guide to Paul's writings.

Breathtaking
This book is loaded with mesmerizing photographs, including many spectacular full-page and page-and-a-half photos that make me feel like I'm in full gear, right at the photographer's elbow. Includes both well known sites as well as reefs rarely seen by humans. As a diver, this is the book I dig out to dream with.

Great Fun
We've loved Paul Jennings since discovering him while visiting friends in Australia. The stories are funny and well written. Kids can identify with the main characters, because there is a certain real-ness to their lives, within which very strange things happen. Every story is totally enjoyable for kids and parents alike, and leaves both with things to think about. Highly recommended.

Sublime
This book succeeds on many levels. It is a travelogue, a history, a social study, and a prophesy. It follows the relationship of the great Mayanist, Sylvanius Morley, with the Maya of Quintana Roo. Showing both the political and personal motivations of both parties the work unfolds like a beautiful flower. It raises question both cosmological and profane. From the Mayan conception of the "end of days" to American and European political intervention in Latin American affairs this work is crucial to understanding how the Mayan maids, bartenders, taxi-drivers, et al, view us gingos as we run roughshod over the indigenous culture in places like Cancun. A bell-weather for cultural awareness and understanding.

UNHOLY INDEED!
This book is an absolute necessity if you follow UTAH/BYU football. The rivalry is vividly painted with the book. It is almost an entire history of this tense rivalry. Rosetta and Miller are particularly good at taking the UTAH or BYU view in each chapter. The book synopsis is correct on the cover of the book--each chapter makes you laugh and cry, disagree and agree, and protest and cheer (it all depends on which side you are on!). This book does not take sides, UTAH/BYU fans will love one part of the book, and hate another part of the book. READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they
