Obviously favors skepticism, but nonetheless is considerate and thorough. Includes both contemporary and historical essays, articles and papers divided into the following sections: Historical Overviews, The Argument from Fraud, Parapsychologists Reply, Parapsychology: Science or Pseudo-Science, Some Methodological and Theoretical Issues, and Further Critiques. I LOVED IT!

I thought that the book was very informative. I have used it as a resourse for many years. Good images, charts and descriptions as well! I reccomend it to ANYONE that is even remotly interested on architecture!

Intro to science fiction

I advise every book I read and love to my sister who, in turn, advises it to her friends. Every person that has read this book, including my sister, her friends, and their friends, have all loved it. It's a nice introduction to science fiction and, in our times, the science of the book is closer to reality than you might think. This book is filled with nice ideas that can trigger the "inventor" or the "dreamer" in a person. This book was the first science fiction I read, and it attracted me immediately to the world of science fiction which I love up till today.

Making dreams a reality!

This may be a work of fiction but the situation is very real. Girls all over the country are facing this same problem all of the time. But there ARE places where they can play and Dori Butler introduces you to some of them. The leagues she talks about DO exist. The websites she mentions ARE real. A must read for any girl who has played or wants to play in a boys league or, better yet, start their own!

A wonderful tale for cat-loving children.

The beautifully illustrated story of Slobcat, apparently the laziest cat in the world, who is actually a sort of feline superhero. He saves kittens from ferocious dogs and drives off wild animals and burglars. My five year old son's favourite picture is the one of Slobcat with his arm around a mouse who is eating cheese that Slobcat helped steal from a trap. Cat loving children will want to read this book ad infinitum, if only they can find it. Why is this wonderful book out of print?

Great book - very practical

I found this book to be very practical and easy to read. I have been looking for a book to help me understand dental problems in general practice and this book taught me so much. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone needing to get started and build a firm foundation in veterinary dentistry. I especially loved the photos of actual procedures and the chapters on intraoral radiology and oral surgery. The section on oral surgical instruments and the source list in the back helped me find the right tools for the job.
