A great read for better understanding of race relations!
One reason why I decided to read this book was because of the simple fact that it didn't contain just one person's sole opinion on race matters. It is compiled of several different views on the subject written by various people. I could agree with a lot of the text that I read as well as disagree, but even reading some of the opinions that I didn't necessarily agree with, I could see how the person could have come to his opinion on race relations. This book has given me a lot of insight on race matters and I would suggest that everyone read it. Without better knowledge or understanding of "race relations" how can we as a people improve our relations to better society?

A MUST READ FOR EVERY ONE!
I really think this book is "right on the money" in "end time" facts. From the first introduction of UPC codes, I KNEW we would be on a fast track to receiving the Mark of the Beast. This book explains what has been happening and what we can expect before Christ's comes for His church. It is wonderful to know that THOUGH, we as Christians can read about this, we will actually be GONE before a decision will be made to worship the Beast and take his mark..... HIGHLY recommend reading !!!

Every parent should read this book!
What an inspiring book! Raising children in today's society is such a challange and this book gave me so much hope that I can raise my children in a positive and loving atmosphere. The chapter on The Role of the Mother and The Role of the Father just took my breath away. I now realize the importance of family traditions and my children love them. This is a book I will read over and over again and recommend to everyone. Don't miss this one if you have children or are even thinking of becoming a parent.

Brilliant books.
Some of my favorite books of all time. I can't recommend them highly enough. This series follows a number of indian and english characters living in India in the years leading up to India's independence. Scott uses a mix of third-person narrative, journalistic descriptions and first-person accounts to create a story that is both broadly historical and intensely personal. His writing style is direct, precise and graceful. His characters are extraordinarily memorable and lifelike. He captures the evils of colonialism without moralizing or generalizing about people. Engaging on every level.

Exciting Pulp Western
Range War at Keno follows the traditional Sheepherders vs Cattle Ranchers story line with explosive action. When the hero saves the rich girl from death in quicksand (none too soon, she's standing on her horse's back when he rescues her-the horse is totally submerged.), he thinks he's helping his side but is soon caught in the middle of a sinister double cross. My first Lehman-I will eagerly search for more.

Much more than a quote book!!!
This book has more than the funniest of George W. Bush's "unquotable" quotes. Even if the vaste selection of phrases from his serious (and not so serious) speeches is enough to keep you laughing and remembering the President's best and worst, this book doubles the enjoyment by adding the author's witty, sarcastic, and great humored comments to each quote. Additionaly, this book offers an original short biography, a compilation of the best Bush jokes, and some great personalities' opinions on the President. The creative wordplay for each of the chapter's titles, as well as the artwork, also make this a fascinating book to read, reread, and to quote! You can even compare Bush's ramblings with Clinton's own Rants and Raves and have a great presidential debate! JA!

Excellent book for rapid tooling
This book introduces the rapid tooling technology and its industrial applications. It is suitable for use as a reference text for a course in RP. Many case studies are also included to help the reader understand how RT is actually being used in the industry. This will help the reader make decision for his particular application.

The "Monster Manual" for the Deadlands game
This book is for the Deadlands role-playing game what the "Monster Manual" is for Dungeons and Dragons. It contains a few pages of information on mundane creatures like scorpions and skunks, on animal sidekicks, and on the "Explorer's Society" (sort of a London social club for gentlemen who like to hunt monsters). There are also about 4 pages or so of advice on GMing monsters. However, the vast majority of the book is devoted to describing 44 monsters for the game that (to the best of my knowledge) aren't described elsewhere: bone fiends, brain crawlers, 'gloms, pox walkers, will-o-the-wisps, etc. Each monster description is divided into two parts: a flavorful narrative description included in the player's section of the book, and a more detailed description in the GM's section of the book, which includes a description, in game terms, of the monster's abilities.

Note that unless your Deadlands character has a faithful dog or horse as a sidekick, this book is probably of more use to a Marshal (GM) than to a player. However, if you are a GM, then out of all the Deadlands books, this book is likely to be the book you consult most while preparing adventures for your players. Whether you use monsters straight out of the book, or merely read the book to give yourself ideas for creatures you invent yourself, you can expect this book to get pretty worn.

Each monster is illustrated at least once. The illustrations are all black and white, but they are well done--comparable to the art in the "Player's Guide," much better than the artwork in "Hexarcana."
