French for Dimwits has got to be the easiest French course on the market. I have taken French in college and believe me, it can get confusing. Learning French using this method is a totally different experience. It felt great to relax and actually start speaking the language right away with suffering like heck to do it. All language courses should be like this.

I have to admit that I'm not a rocket scientist when it comes to languages. That's why I really enjoyed learning from Complete French For Dimwits. Clear, concise, easy to learn and fast. I can't recommend it enough.

After three years of useless high school German I find
German for Dimwits to be amazingly effective and easy at teaching the average learner to speak and understand basic German.
This method in incredibily user friendly and employs a simple but effective sentence compounding technique that
gets you speaking understandable German right away.
I love it and I heartily recommend you try it.

The ability to speak German at any level without long hours and formal training in no simple feat. My objective was to learn 'some' very basic German so that I could at least communicate with German speakers while on business and not sound dumb. I am not fluent now, nor am I able to give big sales presentations in German, but I can speak and understand a helluva lot more German now than just a few short weeks ago. The return on my investment of time and money was minimal compared to the benefit of my current communicative ability.

I am a middle school teacher and I used this book in my classroom to supplement the text the students already have and they absolutely loved it! Not to mention the students got a kick out of the title of this book. I would highly recommend this book to anybody who wants to know ANYTHING about genes or heredity. It is easy enough for a child to understand, but interesting enough for a person of any age. Great book!

I bought the book, looking for new dealer tricks. What I found was a thorough process for REALLY understanding the car buying process and researching EVERYTHING before I walked out the door. No salesguy running back and forth to the manager! This book made me feel confident that I had choosen the right car for me and my family. The layout of the book is very helpful. The chapter's are full of information and at the end ask a few questions. Gives great explanations instead of just a book full of questions. This book went over information that was very helpful and that I had not covered during my radiology classes. After taking the pre-Rad exams, I was glad I had read the book.

Ms. Saltveit's book challenges its readers to think of new and creative ways to engage children and stimulate their learning throught the use of computers. She shows us that there are interactive activities that stretch children's imagination and creativity much further than a mere game could ever do.

Ms. Saltveit's work is the most practical and fun approach to computer education that I have discovered. Although not intended as a teacher's aid, I actually like it just as much as "Hit Enter", which was designed for teachers. Both books have been a big hit at our school (Marymount, Paris). The books erase any feeling that computers are too intimidating or complex. I'm looking forward to her next work.

Dion, Rockman, and Ross show us what is in front of most of us, the dwellers of the urban landscape, in a way we all might like to think about looking at the world. This is a great, thought-provoking book which is a must for every rural and urban school, city, and town library around the globe.
