Theres a reason it has sold over a million copies.
This is one of the easiest books to learn typing from. Im a writer and I got tired of paying other people to type up my manuscripts for me at high prices. So I took matters into my own hands and looked around for a good typing book. There were several good ones among many, but this book has everything. It shows you how to sit properly, how to use all the keys on the board and not just the alphabet. The book is divided into lessons and I find this very helpful. What surprised me the most is how fast I learned how to type. It was amazing! Before I started this book, I had to look over all the board for a letter to type a simple sentence. After only 3 or 4 days of practice at about 3 hours a day, I began to notice greater coordination of my fingers and I was typing. Not fast, it was still slow, but what an improvement for a beginner. The book also has alphabetical sentences to increase your typing speed. These sentences contain every word in the alphabet. Not only did I learn how to type, but the success in mastering the keyboard, gave me the desire to continue working and I just breezed through the course. This is a classic typing book.

Tragedy of Pudd'Nhead Wilson ; And the Comedy, Those Extraordinary Twins (Library of Contress Centennial Bestseller Series)
Published in Hardcover by Applewood Books (November, 1994)
Author: Mark Twain
Amazon base price: $24.95
Average review score:

A look inside Twain's writing method
The main portion of the book is "Puddnhead Wilson", but Twain writes a fascinating intro to "Those Extraordinary Twins" to explain how he started writing one book and ended up with the other. The twins were originally conjoined (Siamese), and were the main characters. The side characters of Tom and Roxy developed into main characters in an entirely different story. what you end up with is a tragedy and a comedy, that occur around the same time, in the same town, with most of the same characters. Its amazing how much a few little twists change everything.

An Essential Guide to the Han Solo Lifestyle
This edition of the Galaxy Guide is one of the most useful you will find. If you ever wanted to be Han Solo, this book is ESSENTIAL. Tramp Freighters includes rules for modification of weapons, shields, ship hull, cargo spaces, and more. It includes various rules for starship damage, and the effects it has upon the vessel. A module incorporated in the book gives you a good, solid chance to get your feet wet in the Star Wars Role Playing Game. Tramp Freighters displays new freighter types and stats. All in all, it is a virtual requirement to run a well rounded campaign or give your character some variety. I very highly recommend it for any player or GM.

Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation: Children and Adolescents
Published in Hardcover by Butterworth-Heinemann (15 January, 1998)
Author: Mark Ylvisaker
Amazon base price: $62.00
Used price: $34.00
Average review score:

If you only buy one brain injury book this ought to be it.
A very useful book and one of the few that does an excellent job of integrating theory with application. As such, it is useful for the practitioner as well as parents of children with brain injury (though it is written at a college level). Ylvisaker and Szekeres' chapter "Frameworks for Cognitive Rehabilitation" is excellent. Likewise, Marshall's chapter provides a good description of the recovery continuum and all the chapters on intervention offer more practical advice that ranges from low tech to high tech solutions.

Traumatic Pasts : History, Psychiatry, and Trauma in the Modern Age, 1870-1930

Excellent Historical Overview
Micale's and Lerner's anthology of essays on the historical development of the concept of trauma in the modern age is a superb addition to the literature. Beginning with the editors' introduction and throughout all of the individual pieces in the book, the authors display a command of the field and a depth of knowledge about trauma in history that is hard to find anywhere else. The essays are exceptionally well written, and cover an interesting array of subjects, from more traditional histories of "shell shock" as a precursor to traumatic psychological injury to the less frequently examined historical origins of the concept of sexual trauma. Despite the expense of the volume, it is well worth adding to the shelf for anyone (academics, professionals, and lay reader alike) interested in understanding the historical underpinnings of the burgeoning field of trauma studies.
