An excellent coverage of a new business marketing method

Not for OM majors
This books does a good job supporting a contemporary approach to Operations management. It does not assume everybody wants to major in Om nor does it assume everybody wants to go into manufacturing. It is very readable and does a good job helping the studetn understand the basic trade-offs of OM.

A must have book for classroom teachers using technology.
A thorough look at the impact of technology on classroom teaching. Describes technology as a tool for teaching, not as an end in itself. Good description of individualizing teaching for different learners, when you are beginning to use new technology in your classroom. Explains the different uses of different kinds of computer software for educational uses, and is written in a reader-friendly style. I use it in my 'Integrating Computers into the Classroom' course and get very positive feedback from my students on this book.

The books offers a bief introduction about local decision and planning in organizations, it dicuss applications in retail planning, including a chapter that focuses on the automobile industry, health-care planning and analysis, urban and water-resource planning, and financial services. The book's uses range form regression techniques and choice models to spatial interaction models and market indicators, it may be useful to suplement a second or third level geography course to emphatize some real-word applications of geography theory. The bok is an extraordinary resourse and it is readable.

An excellent introduction to International Relations
This book gives a well-organized overview of the major theories and debates of International Relations. It is a very useful introduction to IR as a subfield of political science. The terms are clearly defined, margins are wide, and the text is well structured. The case studies are engaging and the book's index is accurate and detailed. I would recommend it without reservations to anyone who wants a quick introduction to International Relations.

This book simplified my Internet use!
This book helps me keep track of all my usernames and passwords for each different site I'm registered at. I used to record my Internet usernames and passwords on stickies all over my monitor and desktop. Now all of that information sits neatly on the shelf next to me. All of the sites I visit are listed alphabetically so retrieving information is quick and easy.

Before I started using this book, if I forgot my username or password, I had to register with a site again. I ended up having two or three different accounts at some sites. Also, I had only one or two passwords which I used again and agian. Now I can easily use a different password for each site I belong to.

This book is easy to use and is a fantastic organizational tool. You won't be disappointed.
