This book helped me though the toughest parts of the game. Without it I would be toast!

Mark Taylor explores the responsibility of Christians to follow Jesus Christ's entire "way of the cross" by engaging in dramatic actions and movements to counter the oppressive, biased imperial systems in our world. This book challenged me to think differently about my faith, and to be willing to truly engage it publicly. The book is readable and thought-provoking; I would suggest it to any who seek a more just world.

When my physiotherapist assigned me the exercises in this gem of a little book, I was skeptical. It proved, however, to be the single most important intervention in my recovery from severe, persistent back and neck pain. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

This is a first-year textbook suitable for the Electronics Programs of Technical Schools and Community Colleges. EEE is available in two versions - electron-flow and conventional-current. Both versions use complex algebra in later AC analysis chapters. No calculus. Professors will not give it up once they start using it and students rarely resell the book. This is a wonderful local travel guide! One is given not only the trails with their twist, turns, and elevation levels to walk along, but also the history of this one time busy and glorious area. The photographs that are used along with the text and maps illustrate the beauty, the luscious growth, and the historical value of the area. Many travel guides give one only the path ones feet need to take. Jeff Thomson has allowed us to also carry our imagination of what it would have been like those many years ago. This book is superbly written, and beautifully photographed. Even if one never explores these trails, the book is a worthy read.

I own and use numerous guides to creatures of the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. Dr. Snively's book is clearly among the best of the genre. Her considerable skill as an educator and her extensive experience along local seashores have combined to create an excellent guide to the marine critters in this part of the world.
