Excellent, Simple, Valuable
This book really hit a home run for me. It was easy to understand and well written for a Business Marketing book dealing with its subject. The 5 Step Framework should work for anyone needing help in planning to launch and effectively brand a website, as well as any product or service that might not be related with the Online world.

In fact, the Authors' 5 Step Framework is quite practical to apply to any type of business with any size marketing issue. The saavy Marketing Executive will be able to apply this Framework to guide them through a refined process resulting in successful execution of their projects!

My bet is that this book will result in a cult following ala G. Moore's "Crossing the Chasm" and M. Hammer's "Reengineering the Corporation"! I also think that it would benefit the college student seeking additional reading materials....because they don't teach this in Buisiness School....yet! ...Five Stars...

Great Knowledge and Info -thanks for sharing!
"From Bricks to Clicks" is an easy read that provides a straight forward framework, or process if you please, for creating an Online Brand. In my opinion, I trust that the 5 steps could easily be applied to any business whether online or not! I am flabber-gasted to think that finally in 2001 that this is the first book I have read which clearly addresses these complicated and sometimes overwhelming marketing issues that most every company faces from time to time.

The book's real world examples highlight the authors' experiences, knowledge and how they arrived (step-by-step) at excellent solutions to the problems. Implementing the defined process proves its value time&time again in the book. The 5 step framework they describe is simple and should be easy to apply to small and large projects at any size company.

I am pleased that they would share this knowledge and their 5 Steps Framework in this book. I recommend "From Bricks to Clicks" for any high-level Marketing Executive and I look forward to future books or seminars by the Authors.

A New Brand Perspective
This book is pleasantly different from the other brand books out there, not only because of the method, but also because it logically articulates branding on and off the web-- and integrates it with other areas of marketing. Lots of times branding is a distant cousin to marketing and corporate communications, and this book makes it all fit together. As the creator of a small business, it's useful to me but I can also see how it will help big corporate executives as well. An enjoyable read, and very useful.

An eclectic collection of fascinating and remarkable lives
Giants Of Japan: The Lives Of Japan's Greatest Men And Women by journalist and author Mark Weston is an informed and informative biographical survey of great figures drawn from fifteen centuries of Japanese history. Ranging from the internationally famous writer Yukio Mishima and the film director Akira Kurosawa, to historical icons such as Shotoku (the prince who helped bring Buddhism to Japan), and the actress Izumo no Okuni (who created kabuki theater), Giants Of Japan effectively summarizes an eclectic collection of fascinating and remarkable lives revealed in an energetic and raptly interesting presentation. Very highly recommended reading for students of Japanese history and culture.

A great read
This was the best book I read last year. Very informative and easy to read.

An informative, eminently readable book
As one largely unacquainted with Japanese history and culture who had a need to learn more about the country, I found "Giants of Japan" a helpful, accessible, and even fun-to-read overview. Weston's format of "bite-sized" profiles makes the book easy to put down and pick up repeatedly without losing continuity.

A must read, you can't keep this book for yourself,
I have bought this book several time and passed out as gifts though the years....If there is one book you run into your burning house to save this will be among that one!

God I Listened
I read this book a couple of years ago and have been trying to find out where I can purchase it as a gift. It is truly an inspirational book about the trials and tribulations of Eula Hendricks-McClaney and her two daughters. I remember while reading the book, I could even taste some of the food that was being prepared. It inspired me to prepare some of those same down home recipes. The book was very uplifting and inspiring and I want to get another copy. If anyone has information on where to obtain a copy , please have the information forwarded to this address. I am happy to know that there are others out there who are just as interested as I am in obtaining a copy of this Bestseller.

The Gospel of Mark (The Daily Study Bible Series)

A great book about the Good Book!
50 years and this is still a great book in a great series. Unlike so many popular Christian books that become dated over time, William Barclay's Daily Study Bible just seems to get better. He has excellent historical material. He offers valuable insight that will apply to your life as we begin the third millenium. You will be glad you bought this book, or any of the others Barclay wrote in the New Testament Series.

The Gospel Of Mark Revealed"
I find that William Barclay's "The Gospel of Mark" is an excelent book to learn more about what is the true meaning of what the Gospel of Mark is all about. It is fairly easy to read and it puts what is written into historical contexts. It let me know a lot more about what was going on during the life of Jesus Christ. so that I could understand the Gospel in much greater depth than I ever had before.

I would greatly recommend this book for use as a suppliment to the Bible for study groups or individual study of the Scriptures. I also think that this book is good for both a historical and/or a theological study of the life of Jesus Christ. It really helps to make sense of what Mark had to say by reviewing what the people knew and thought during the time that Jesus was among them so that we could view the Gospel from that perspective as well as what it means to us today.

I think that every Christian will find that they will learn a great deal from this book. As a Christian I feel that this book should be on everyone's must read list.

I'm looking forward to reading the entire series
Reading this commentary was like having a daily conversation with a deeply learned companion. Barclay's remarks are always insightful. Without being dogmatic, he brings Mark's prose alive. His understanding of the original Greek and of the customs and mores of the ancient world provides helpful context to the story. What a wonderful personal tutor! I now am reading his book on the letters to the Corinthians and will read the entire series.

Great Cookbook
Every recipe in this book is very good. Most (almost all) recipes are very easy to make and looks like you worked a long time on them. The Pesto Mold on page 20 is easy to make and everyone will ask for the recipe. The sausage snacks on page 30 are a nice change to meatballs. Pesto tortilla snacks are very easy and great tasting also. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and fruity muffins make great gifts around the holidays. The Parmesan Caesar salad is a salad a I make all the time. All the potato dishes are great tasting; the squash casserole is the best I have every had. The sweet potatoes are great (even if you don't like sweet potatoes. I could go on. This cookbook has a nice feature with the children's section. I have used this book so much and bought so many as gifts.

Well done!
This is a wonderful book. It is full of great recipes that are not only good, but easy to prepare. I highly recommend it!

A Regional Cookbook with an International Flair
I have tried many of the recipes in this book and like 99% of them, so do my family and my friends. My favorites include; Frogmore Pickled Shrimp, Swamp Chili, Okra and Tomatoes, Pasta with Shrimp, Lemon and tomoatoes and many more than I should probably list. The book is well laid out (easy to follow), ingredients are easy to find and the serving suggestion are on target. Try this book. You'll like it.

Gratest Saleman Comment
This is such a great book, its so small yet filled with so much helpfull information and advice, I STRONGLY recomend this book to just about anybody. Read the first Part of the 2 book series and then the second and I garantee you will love these 2 books. After reading them, I simply stoped and thought about what i just read, and the information in them is so helpfull and can be applied to just about anything you are going through, it just gives you a whole new way of looking at the world. This book preatty much turns your way of looking at life upside down. One thing though, im 17 and I have never really read anything with such a good positive message to it. And its interesting to read too. So if this is something i liked, this will surely be something you will LOVE !! Take care.

the book changed my life!
this is the greatest book i have ever read, though i only fowllow half of the book instructions(my father's stroke broke my progress ), i benefit a lot from the book, especially the attitude to the world and human. now i am no longer the boy who feel the world treats him unfair, but a guy feel the world is full of love, and readiy to help anyone who needs help

Potentially Life Altering!!!!
The story was interesting and well written and the scrolls were magnificent. These truths we all know but putting it together so precise and succinctly was masterful!!!

Hurray for Frommer's!!
I planned a trip to Ireland for my Mother, 4 sisters and Myself.
I started with "Ireland for Dummies" then read "Frommer's Ireland 2001" and crossed referenced with "Ireland from $60 a Day". I learned more from these books in 2 weeks than in all of my years as a Travel Agent and Airline staff!! Their detailed in-sight and straight-forward advice was right on target. They give prices, times, phones numbers and payment information. They tell you where to go, what to do and who to talk to. I loved their list of on-line addressess for information. Only two things were wrong with my copy. They quoted every price in Irish pounds that were useless after February 2002. I realize that they had to go to print before this change and were unable to adapt in time. The other was lack of detailed mapping. A free map was included inside "Ireland 2001" but only had some of the streets shown for Dublin. I know these will be corrected in future printings. I would recommend these Frommer's books to anyone!! They are written in plain English, yet don't talk down to you(even the "Dummies" book. It was quite humorous)

Best of Travelguides
My family used Frommer's Ireland 12th Ed. extensively before, during ,and after our trip to Ireland in July of 2002. The first two chapters Best of..., and Planning your Trip... were worth the purchase price alone. All of the Best of tips we followed were excellent choices.
The large fold out map that was included served very well during our driving tour of Ireland. Using the county and town maps that were included in the local sections kept us right on track. Distances are deceptive however. It takes longer to get anywhere you go than it would appear from reading the map. The Irish road system is not built for speed ( nor comfort for that matter) so plan accordingly. It takes a long time to drive across the country, or from county to county. More could have been made of this issue in the guide. Our biggest mistake was trying to do too much.
The up to date information on Dublin was very helpful, as were the frequent tips throughout the guide on ways to avoid the summer crowds. I used the web addresses that were included for lodging and found them very helpful for checking availability and booking our rooms quickly. Don't go without it!

Frommer's Ireland, 12th ed.
My wife and I traveled around Ireland for two weeks this summer, and Frommer's Ireland was an amazingly helpful tool.

Realizing this would probably be the last time we'd be traveling abroad for a while, we decided to mix it up a bit --"inexpensive" to "moderate" accommodations and restaurants in most places, with a few dabbles in the "expensive" (and even one "very expensive") splurges along the way. Across the board, the recommendations in this book were outstanding. What to see and do, where to stay, where to eat and shop.....all were presented in a very down-to-Earth way. The eye for small detail and nuances throughout the book made us feel we were getting advice from a local expert who REALLY knows her stuff.

I can't say enough about how helpful this guide was to us -- it really made our trip a memorable one. The fold-out map got us around most of the country with no trouble....once a nice gentleman in a petrol station showed me how to get my rental car into reverse.

All in all, a terrific book.

The G-String Theory
I thoughly enjoyed the book and found it light and humorous. The authors adventures, meeting up with friends, looking at life with humor and being open for unusual experiences help you to see the places where they were.

I found the authors work to be original and easy to read and understand. Making it hard to put down.

I enjoyed the book so much I bought copies for my friends and they have enjoyed it as well.

"PROPHETIC" , "VISIONARY", "VERY, VERY FUNNY"
MARKS HAS WOVEN A HEARTWARMING TAPESTRY OF ADVENTURE,PROPHETIC SPIRITUAL INSIGHT AND GOOD ,CLEAN FUN.
SHE HAS ARTICULATED WELL SOME OF THE BASIC CAUSES OF VIOLENCE AND HATRED IN THE WORLD TODAY. LACK OF LOVE, RESPECT AND HONOR FOR ONES SELF AND FOR OTHERS IS PARTICULARLY SITED. "PEACE BEGINS WITH ME" SEEMED TO BE THE GENERAL FEEL.
I FINISHED READING THE G-STRING THEORY WITH A NEWFOUND SENSE OF OPTIMISM AND EMPOWERMENT.YES,WE ARE EACH VERY POWERFUL INFLUENCES OVER THIS PLANETS DESTINY.TO LOVE IS MY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY. THIS BOOK HAS SHIFTED ME.A "MUST" READ.

Third wave magic
This is one of the finest new books I have read about the new age. The G-String theory reveals a new way to look at human relationships against the delightful backdrop of a woman's adventure in India. I've never experienced Sai Baba's message in this wonderful way. This book is full of funny and provocative escapades, and always manages to share a new message of bringing love to all those who you encounter. I couldn't recommend this original book more highly. Bravo Ilana Marks!

A commercial aircraft documentary that is hard to put down.
This is a very absorbing book about the giant airliners that fly today's skies, covering them from their inception, to the drawing board, last minute changes, technical information, how new ideas and technologies gained ground and their service with the airlines. The chapters are not organised by aircraft but by topic such as Stretching and Shrinking, the Operator's Role in influencing the final design, Safety Measures, Concepts and Hurdles and the Giant Jetliners of the Future. This organisation makes for a much more exciting read on a concentrated topic rather than the more boring Chapter by Aircraft type approach which is more like reading a dictionary. This is how the book "Boeing Jetliners" is organised and although that is also a good book, I prefer this one for that reason. So in the Safety chapter, you get to see how these planes introduced redundancy, early warning systems, the Propulsion Controlled Aircraft system, fatigue testing, design changes and of course, ETOPS. Loads of information for the serious commercial aircraft enthusiast in an immersive documentary that you will find hard to put down.

Not just a coffee table book!
This is an illustrated book with substance. If you just want some pretty pictures, get a calendar. This book gets into the hows and whys of large commercial aircraft. It meaningfully and clearly discusses flight physics and how these great aircraft are engineered. Any lay aviation buff would enjoy this book.

Giant Jetliners Is A Giant Good Book!
Giant Jetliners is the perfect book for anyone who has ever even been the least bit facinated by commercial aviation. Full of pictures and info about the most facinating things around.
