Sanity at last!

I've been waiting for a book like this for a long time. It offers, at last, a clear-headed and incisive analysis of the whole scandal mess in today's media. It's short, to-the-point, delightful reading that I found tremendously entertaining. Anybody who listens to the daily diet of dirty laundry on the news will love this book.

Excellent and thorough review of Australian wines

This comprehensive guide to Australian wines by Shields is a valuable asset to any wine-lover's library. It has short concise reviews not only of the different vintages but also each vintner and vineyard. It was very helpful in helping us find out about lesser known yet very good wines during our extended stay down under. We found a wonderful St. Hallet's Shiraz through this. It sold for half price at the vineyard compared to the local wine shop.

A Beautiful Pennsylvania Millenium

Easy to read - hard (i.e. unwillingness) to apply

The book is well written and easy to read, but the concept of "suffering successfully" can be a difficult concept to apply. Dr. Hanby reveals the joys and rewards for those who learn to "successfully suffer", but it will require each person to look inside to find the courage NOT to pray to be taken off God's wheel. This book opens the readers eyes to the process of growth and will cause each of us to deeply reflect if we are ready, and willing, to enter into that 3rd dimension of spiritual growth. A Must Read!

Perfect Fit - Perfect title for a terrific book!

If you're looking for real-world information on starting your own Image Consulting business, this book is a must buy! It doesn't deal with the various makeup lines or color theory, but covers extensively resources, financial planning for your Image Consulting business, writing proposals for Corporate clients, business structure, training and lots more.

Though I'm an experienced Image Consultant and Color Analyst, I found valuable information here to help me take my business to the next level. The section on Corporate proposals was of terrific value to me.

It's an easy read, and will become part of your much-used reference library. Highly recommended!

"the finishing touch"

This book is a must for anyone considering becoming an image consultant. It is very apparent that the authors have practiced what they are teaching. Every aspect of the image consulting business is covered including resources for necessary training which many authors omit. I have read many books on this subject and this one by far is the most complete. The contents can also transform a "good" image consultant into an "outstanding" image consultant. In summary, this book meets the needs of anyone remotely interested in this business and the "finishing touch" for those who have chosen image consulting as a career. Thanks Lynne and Dominique for sharing your life experiences.

Excellent adventure story. Character driven with excitement.

This hardcover book is priced fairly well, compared to other young adult or pre-teen books of hardcover.
The story unfolds with the characters ( animals of the forest) learning how to solve problems and working them out together. Unlike us humans.
It is fun, adventurous, and a come alive book for any youngster ages 8 to 90.

Personal recollections of Joam of Arc

This is my all time favorite. Even Mark Twain, in the books forward, claimed this to be his greatest achievement. The story flows, with vivid depictions which enable you to nearly live Joans' experiences, and at times brings tears to your eyes as you imagine and feel Gods hand guiding the young Joan of Arc. Trust me if you like inspirational stories like "The story of my life" by Helen Keller, you'll love this book. Read it, and share it with others!

A BRAVE NEW WORLD

With the current advances in medical technology, this book is a must read for anyone who hopes to gain a greater understanding of what is sure to become a major issue in just a few years. The book is not what one would call "light, pool-side reading". With an important issue like this however, would we really want it to be?
