Great Book, Terrible Cover!
I have been selling cars for over two years now and have read several other books on selling cars, including books by Jack Bennet, Patrick Davis and Joe Girardi. I have also listened to many training videos and read many newsletters from various men like David Martin, Jim Ziegler and Joe Verde. So I have been exposed to a lot of advice. I am doing quite well selling cars but I know I could be doing better, which is why I keep reading advice and reevaluating what I do.

With this said, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of advice and the good insights given by Mark in his book (especially since the cover is awful!). This book is definitely worth reading if you have been selling awhile and are striving to improve. He does a good job of selling the reader on how and why certain things are necessary and effective. Is is a substantial book filled with details and examples, not some brief overview. And it is written by one of us, a man in the trenches, so to speak.

hilarious and extroadinarilyperceptive...
I was absolutely hooked after reading the first page- this man had unbelievably captured the details of my life. After reading the book, i became self-informed as to how "Australian" I was. Several times the wit and sharp observances of Treborlang had me in stitches, and literally laughing out loud over comments like: "Hell hath no fury like an Australian scorned."

The satirical nature of "How to be normal in Australia" is a definite must read and experience- particularly for those carefree and impenetrable Australians.

"No worries... we could all use a good ole laugh at ourselves once in a while love..."

My Father's Work
This is what my father wrote. I feel you will like it. There is a disadvantage though to this. It is not at all, simplified for the technically declined. Read it though. You will find it insightful.

What a great resource!
This is a great easy to use book. Starting a corporation isn't as hard as I thought. All the forms are there and it tells you where to send them and how to fill them in. Terrific!

How to form a Limited Liability Company in Florida
I purchased this book to help explain some of the complexities of an LLC and why there are so few in the State of Florida. The book answered all my questions and in fact explained that with the new laws in Florida, this is the only way to go. I was able to use the forms and send a check to the state the same evening and was registered within a week. A great savings over an attorney and I'm not at all sure I would have understood any where near as much had I gone to one. Most attorney's themselves are not LLC's but probably will be in the near future when they have had a chance to go over all the changes within the law.

It worked for me!
Quintessetial guide to love, sex and marriage. Reminiscent of Eric Weber and Kevin Doyle with a little P. J. O'Rourke and P. G. Wodehouse thrown in. Not overly burdened with verbiage - but what's there is choice. I used to give OH, THE PLACES YOU WILL GO
to graduates. Now I give McBride's classy little tome.

Because traveling minds want to know!
This is one great book. I travel quite a bit, so for someone like myself nothing could be better. Sometimes I get so bored just sitting around the hotel room or going to to banal business meetings that this book really opened up my mind and made me think more about meeting people on the road. I mean, everything in this book is covered, from choosing a good hotel to knowing 'how' to ride the train or plane or bus. You want more, believe me, you'll get it. This book answers all important questions for those nomads out there that spend a lot of time in other cities. And it works. Since I've read it, I've had much better trips and have met some interesting, not to mention attractive, women.

This book was worth double what I paid for it. EASY!
Not knowing a whole lot about javascript, I bought this book with many doubts. To my surprize, Mike Stones lay out was excellent. His examples where clear and to the point. Lots of source code examples to follow too! If you need a good book to get you on your feet in the world of java, then this is the one! Don't settle for less.
