A must-have reference!

This Handbook is a must-have reference for any IACUC office. I found clear, intelligent answers to my questions about every elkement of IACUC involvement. I highly recommend this resource. It is by far the most used IACUC resource I have.

Here's Idaho at its best!

See Idaho as you've never seen it before through the eyes of photographer Mark Lisk. He has captured the essence of the State's diversity -- from the beautiful plains to the majestic mountains. This is an exceptional book and one that stays on my coffee table for guests to enjoy! I give this one five stars.

Great Book

This book really A MUST collection for any JD fan. There is very informative and quite a lot of Joy Division photos. It describes incredibly detail of the birth and the growing up of this great band.

How We Got Here/What We Have Here/Where Shall We Go

So your interested in globalization? Well, this book takes a look at it through the lenses of the American far-left (Cavanagh, Wallach)AND the far-right (Buchanan, Perot).

How do these ideologies merge? Well, they don't, but the book does examine how they arise from American ideologies of yesteryear. And that is really the book's strong point. How are American cultural beliefs exceptionalism, Fordism, Keynesianism, nationalism, racism, and conservatism coping with the "New World Order."

And if your interested the left or right's critiques of globalization, check the 'net. globalexchange and public citizen maintain fine sights, and I bet there are some from the right's perspective as well.

The Lighting Bible

The IESNA Lighting Handbook (9th Edition) is the best and most complete lighting reference book ever written! It has everything from how luminaires are constructed, to lighting calculations to energy management. It has chapters that discusses in depth topics such as color, daylighting, lighting calculations, retail lighting, exterior lighting, lighting economics and lighting controls. It even has a chapter on Under Water lighting! The book includes the new IESNA Lighting Design Guide that addresses the quality of the Visual Environment. All in all, this is a must have book for every lighting designer. Even though it is a little expensive, it is still worth MUCH more than what it costs.

Charming! Especially for all big sister/little brother duos

A sweet, imaginative story in which an older sister fantasizes about what wonderful, magical things she would do if she were queen of the world. But more than what the title would suggest, is the true message of the story- her love for her little brother, as she never forgets to include him in each and evey thought and fantasy that she creates along the way. The love, patience, and compassion that she feels for her brother shine through, even though she remains very much a little girl and typical big sister through and through. My daughter and son loved holding hands while I read to them. I didn't mind being asked to read it again and again.

It only takes one person willing to change to save a marriag

This book, If Only You Would change, by Mark Luciano & Christopher Merris provides valuable tools for anyone caught in what seems to be a hopeless relationship. It will not help you fix the other person but will allow you to gain strength within yourself and to grow beyond a fixation with the other person's character defects. Based strongly on the Twelve Step program it pulls no punches in its approach to the "real problems" and solutions. Both partners do not have to be involved in the program for the relationship to gain greatly and perhaps be saved from divorce. The book also could be used to counsel couples heading into marriage relationships. It is a must for all counsellors, pastors, and married couples.
