I bought Cope before it came to Amazon. It's about time it's being sold here! Having tried other kinds of self-help books and tapes for depression, Cope is truly different. "Mass market paperback" is NOT the right description. With Cope you actually use booklets and a free telephone system that can be used 24/7. I've never seen anything like Cope, and I've tried a lot of self-help programs for my depression. The examples used in Cope and the interactive exercises were really helpful. It only took a few weeks before I began feeling better, and the booklets have continued to provide support for me. Cope was better than some of the live therapists I've gone to. While the voice on the telephone is prerecorded, it's hard to tell because he responds to your issues and is really comforting. I know that sounds hokey, but it's true. Cope really helped me.

After having my first surgery for glaucoma at age 19, I wanted more information about the disease. Every other book I have read has been confusing and complex. Edith Marks provides useful information that non-medics can understand. All of my questions were finally answered.

Dr. Price's handbook is an easy to read introduciton to this ever increasing eye disorder. The practical tips and use of vision aids should help readers better adjust to this increasingly ocfcuring problem.

This is an extremely well-written and thoughtful book. The authors take a highly practical and rigorous look at accounting as used in practice by publicly-traded companies. It is an effective integration of accounting principles and real-world financial statement analysis -- helps the reader develop a sense of what is aggressive, what is conservative, etc., and what critical issues are discernible but not immediately obvious from a routine examination of financial statements. A good read for would-be Ben Inkers. For a more basic introduction to accounting, check out books by Robert Anthony.

Over the past five years, I have been working on a research project regarding cross-cultural relations. I needed to find a medium that would allow me to focus upon the intenseness of cross-cultural relations in regards to pyschological family stucture. I figured this book would be beneficial in my study. I was right ! It gave sufficient information concerning the pyschological reasoning for interracial families, stereotypes, and the every day structure that interracial families possess. This book will challenge anyone to place new perspective race relations, and that is a powerful thing. Excellent work Bea Wehrly, Kelley Kenney, and Mark Kenney !

We loved this book! Both my husband and I read this to our 5 yr. old son. We laughed out loud at the author's light hearted approach on learning to ride a two-wheel bike without training wheels! A first time on reading a story by this team of authors. I will seek other books by them in the future. My son loved everthing about this peticular book.
