Fossilised Fun Phenomenom

I thought that the content of this book was extrodinary. It was about the same as the first one but I always had wondered what the fossil TCG would be like. When I collected the full collection of PKMN cards I was delighted. I share the collection with my friend Philip who is just as mad about Pokemon as I am. The book is very helpful because in my old one I ticked of al of the ones I had so it was a great help. It also gives you lots of Pictures of cards at least not in Japanese so I am venturing towards being the ultimate PKMN trainer. The book describes the cards perfectly so I can develop my skills on playing and defeating against my opponent. I hope everyone who gets the book enjoyed as much as me. Bye!

A GREAT text for training at the college and police academy.

Miller's book is well written and easy to read. The examples and explanations are especially useful when training new or soon to be new police recruits. One of the the best books I've found on the subject.

Highly recommended reading for students of Kierkegaard

In The Politics Of Exodus: Soren Kierkegaard's Ethics Of Responsibility, Mark Dooley (Newman Scholar in Theology, University College, Dublin) argues persuasively Kierkegaard's affiliations with Jacques Derrida are deeper and more significant than has been traditionally believed. Dooley maintains that Kierkegaard is not a proponent of asocial individualism, but an advocate of "open quasi-community". The Politics Of Exodus is highly recommended reading for students of Kierkegaard's philosophy, as well as those with an interest in the area of ethics and politics, religion and postmodernism.

Michael and Natalie LOVE the Poppleton books!

Our names are Michael and Natalie. We are 2nd graders at Anna Merritt Elementary School in Lockport, NY. Our favorite book is Poppleton Forever. The characters are Newhouse, Poppleton, Cherry Sue, and Fillmore. Michael's favorite part is when Cherry Sue got stuck in the wallpaper. Natalie's favorite part is when Poppleton painted.

Sweet and entertaining

My 4-year-old daughter loves this book. It has three stories, each on a different topic. She insists we read all three each time, and they are not long so it's OK. The language rolls off the tongue and is fun to read aloud. Pictures are cute, and characters whimsical and sweet. She also is learning about the concept of a Table of Contents because the three stories are listed there.

Another gem from Cynthia Rylant! Great blend of sweet and silly. My six year old can read some of it, but it is neither simplistic nor boring (like so many "early readers").

A RESEARCHER'S DREAM

For a researcher in all things Texas, this book is a must. I have been a professional researcher for the past 50 years and anytime I have ever needed anything on Texas or people of Texas I have gone to the "Handbook of Texas" and found it easily. This new edition of the "Handbook of Texas" has only gotten better. You can now carry it around with you and it will be easily accessable at any time. If you need information on Texas, this is the place to go to find it. This book will be on my list as a must and will definitly be mentioned in my research classes as a must for my students. For anyone interested in getting a behind the scenes perspective of the changes and controversies in recent South African politics. Profiles are sympathetic, but always cut to the heart of the matter. Gevisser has an eye for his subjects' humanity as well as their flaws. Excellent.
