A well writen book for the first time bass fisherman.
First the book brings you into a deep introduction about the Largemouth Bass. It then goes on to explaining how to locate the fish, and how their eyes work. Then you are brought through an intense description and explanation about the lures used to catch the bass, and also tells how to use these tools of the sport. You are then introduced to bass tackle, bass boats, and other accessories to go along with it. The book finishes with descriptions of the different regions of the United States and how the bass fishing is there.

A little out of date on tackle, but overall very worthwhile
This book covers the basics to gain a quick understanding of the fundelmentals that every beginning bass fisherman should know. It covers a broad range of topics and makes good use of photos to allow the reader to gain better insight to the techniques that are critical

Inspiring!
I originally purchased this book as a potential reference book for an associate of mine but made the mistake of reading it. This book is great! It's written in a fun, thought-provoking way that can inspire anyone -- even me -- to clowning. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the art of clowning. It gives information on choosing a character, costume, the all important hat, makeup and even skits and physical gags you can do. If you're interested in clowning or are just curious about the art of it you have to buy this book! It's an exceptional resource and a must-have for the aspiring clown's library!

A great book for beginning clowns
This is a wonderful book that will introduce you to the basics and essentials of clowning. You'll find lots of photos and exercises that touch on many of the aspects of clowning including; warm-ups, skits, creating routines, clown\props relationship, costuming, physial comedy, make-up, clown psychology, clown\clown relationship, and so much more. Plus the most important and always emphasized aspect, your own clown character development. There is tons of practical info in this awesome book. I believe this to be the best beginning clown book one can buy!

Behind The Wheel French For Your Car /8 One Hour Audiocassette Tapes

FORMER US DIPLOMAT SAYS REAL COMMUNICATION REALLY FAST!!
A former diplomat with the US State Department says: 'Language Dynamics courses are the only courses I know of that are truly dedicated to effective and immediate communication in the target language. Academic courses often reflect the literary interests of professors, many of whom never had the experience of learning the target language as a second language. With these courses, you can hit the streets after every lesson knowing you can say more than you could yesterday'.

Loved It!
I was frankly astonished at how much French I was able to learn in my car with Language Dynamics 'Behind the Wheel French'. The handy learning guide and tapescript was also a big help although all the meanings were given on the tapes so I didn't have to look up anything.

The Best Book on Berlin
If you must have only one book on Berlin, this is it. Few cities have experienced the massive upheaval that Berlin has, and trying to compare and understand the pre-World War II city with that of today is often a frustrating labyrinth. Mark McGee's book offers clarity. While other books have a similar before/after format, McGee does it with greater clarity, superior images, and with a lively and informative text. I like that individual buildings are given a distinct section, as opposed to being scattered throughout. McGee's text offers plenty of pertinent information, as well as trenchant architectural criticism, and odd asides that are greatly enjoyable (commenting on the Potsdam rail station, McGee notes that the old graveyard in front of the station was paved over after the lease on the last grave expired). Yes, this book is a must for any reader interested in the architecture and urban planning of a unique city. All that is missing is a map highlighting the location of buildings detailed.

An original perspective on history
Mark R. McGee has assembled an impressive collection of photographs to demonstrate the changes that have occurred in twentieth-century Berlin. Any student of history will be interested to see the minute details captured in these images. The texts included with each sequence of photographs flesh out the history of this fascinating city.

Big Boy's Rules: Covert Operations in Northern Ireland 1976-87

Author: Mark Urban

Compelling and thought provoking
Having served a number of times as an officer in Northern Ireland, this book filled in a number of gaps in my own knowledge. The reading of this book should be compulsory for anyone wishing to comment on the fight against Irish terrorism and the methods employed by each opposing side.

Compelling Reading
An overview of the SAS fight against the IRA, it appears that a shoot to kill policy may have been in place as the SAS killed many IRA terrorists during their covert operations.Great insight into the skill and sophistication of the IRA and the SAS.

Positively Love it!
What can I say Big Eyes, Small mouth was like a gift from the gods. I was over at my brothers place for a weekend and he told me about this game. At that moment I made it my quest to get this book. You see I am a huge Otaku (Anime Fan). Well a roleplaying game that you get to roleplay an anime character well how could I not want to get it. I am also a very big person in RPGs as well I have been role playing for 12 years. Played Vampire, D&D 2ed & 3rd, Kindred of the east, Chtulhu, and others not going to name them all. But this RPG I now love more then all the others. The types of Genres and settings are limitless and the only limit you have is your own imagination. You can play anything from Big giant Mecha battles like you see in Robotech, Macross, and VOLTRON!! All the way to your supernatural horrors to even your fantasy worlds like D&D you could even have a game like Vampire. The Characters aren't limited to Races or classes like most games are. Its a very wonderful game. I recommend anyone who is creative and who loves anime to purchase this book. I even have people who hate anime interested in this game and they enjoy playing it. So buy a copy of this book you won't be disappointed.

This is the best! Read the review ok.
Where to begin, I have been a DM for it seems like eons, at least 10 years. In that time I have played DnD 1st edition, 2nd edition, and 3rd edition. Also I have played Palladium Fantasy, and Rifts, White Wolf's vampire and Exalted and Mage, Marvel Superheroes RPG 1st TSR edition, and Fuzion, Fudge and well you get the idea, basically everything that exists. In all that time I have never seen anything so easy to use and yet so great and all encompassing as BESM. This game system is very easy to use and can still simulate anything at all that you can think up. The game system is also very flexable and stable meaning that it is very easy to compare character's relative power levels. This might not sound like much but trust me it is. Also what really sold me is the fact that you can create Anything! A God or an intelligent football, anything! It's the best go get it and try it at once!

A very informative book well presented
The "Author, Ann Wilson does a super contribution to the citizens of this great country by having the concern to research the given facts and write and get this book published.

As stated in her ending dedication, the book is dedicated to all Patrotic Americans. A very well written book that identifys the credentials and qualifications of the officials that are supposed to be running the government in our best interest.Shows the elements that are really prevalient in controlling the country that most Americans are unaware of. It would be great if every American would read this book and see the direction of the destiny that will be our future and of our generations to come.

Informed Americans
We bought and read Ann Wilson`s book soon as it became available. Her book describes Clinton as is. Every American should read this book. Biofeedback, Second Edition: A Practitioner's Guide
Published in Hardcover by Guilford Press (10 March, 1995)
Authors: Mark Schwartz, and Associates, Associates, and Mark S. Schwartz
Amazon base price: $80.00
Average review score:

The Bible of non-EEG Biofeedback; a practitioner must-have
If you are going to get into biofeedback as a practitioner you really must have this book. It provides a wonderfully comprehensive, detailed picture of a wide range of biofeedback applications, modalities, issues and techniques. Edited and partially written by Mark Schwartz, founder of the Mayo Clinic Biofeedback program, and Frank Andrasik, both past presidents of AAPB (Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback,) the book offers an encyclopedic amount of information on the most frequently used forms of non-EEG biofeedback. It only has one chapter on EEG biofeedback-- though that one, by Joel Lubar, is an excellent. Even practitioners getting into work which focusses primarily on EEG should buy this book and include in their library, since it offers valuable perspectives on working with the kinds of clients/patients likely to be encountered.

if you are getting into a practice, working with headache, stress disorder, behavioral medicine, etc. then this book should be on your bookshelf.

Frankly, being a bit of a bibliomaniac, I have at least 40 different biofeedback books-- one of the largest libraries on the subject anywhere. I've also co-edited two books on biofeedback myself (published in Russia.) As a biofeedback practitioner since 1972, a biofeedback product inventor, software developer international meeting organizer and entrepreneur, I have recommended the book to hundreds of people and have probably sold, over the years, through my business, at least 300 copies. I know that at least three or four years ago, before the release of the 2nd edition, I heard that over 12,000 copies had been sold. That's pretty amazing for a book of this sort.

other good books on biofeedback include: Basmajian, Fuller-Von Bozzay, and for EEG biofeedback: Wise, Evans & Abarbanel

The Best Guide to Biofeedback Practice
Swartz and friends provide a thoughtful and extensive review of the history, methods, and applications of biofeedback practice. Primarily intended for health professionals, the book covers a variety of disorders/medical conditions that can be treated by biofeedback, and provides detailed instructions as to how to treat each disorder. Schwartz has been an integral figure in the development of professional standards for biofeedback practice as well, and the book also addresses this topic, as well as ethic issues. Has proven to be extremely helpful in training and practice. Well written.

The Biographical Dictionary of World War II
Published in Paperback by Presidio Pr (May, 1999)
Author: Mark Mayo Boatner
Amazon base price: $24.95
Average review score:

Excellent Reference Work
Students, teachers, and researchers will find this an invaluable tool in their study of World War II. This is the most complete and up-to-date work, including over 1,000 personalities from the war.

Mr. Boatner put together a well laid out reference manual, with an exceelent glossery for help in identifying terms. This book needs to be a required tool for every researcher or student of World War II.

The definitive biographical reference book of World War II.
In looking through this wonderful book, the reader will first realize that the biographies are very well written by the author, Mark Boatner, but next will be amazed at the comprehensive nature of the entries. Virtually all the important personages of that war are covered and are cross-referenced to insure that all vital information is provided. Other similar books do not compare because they do not contain enough information on each entry, do not have all the personages contained in this book, and usually are as "dry as dust" to read.
