Perspective: As a medical resident of Internal Medicine as well as Pediatrics, I am often hard pressed for time and in need of information that is succinct, yet reliably complete. I have found 5MCC to be just such an outstanding resource.

Content: While not inclusive of every disorder/condition, 5MCC has focussed on both the common as well as the serious illnesses that a physician needs to be efficient and effective.

Organization: The "single-spread" layout is a welcome sight to anyone who wants to get to the point without wading through pages and pages. Iconic references allow quick identification of topic sections. Consistent organization lends to systematic study and memorization.

Application: I find this reference perfect to brush up on a topic I haven't recently encountered (in study or practice). It is a good reference to cross reference differential diagnoses and confirm completeness in an initial patient work-up. I have used this book in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as for telephone triage.

Evaluation: I give this text my highest recommendation.

A Bela Coola Indian Chief of the isolated West Coast of Canada, Clayton Mack lived by salmon fishing, ranching, trapping and eventually became the most famous big game hunting guide in his area. He guided the rich and famous including Thor Hierdahl and Joe Brooks. His stories are simultaneously riotous and poignant tales of life amongst grizzlies and the often bizarre 'white hunters' who preyed upon the majestic bears. Written from taped interviews with Mack the book preserves his voice and conveys the essence of life as a native in a land dominated by white people. Honest and unromanticised stories about hunting, the Norht Woods and life as a Native. A unique book.

Mark Henricks is a long-time business columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine and with Grow Your Business has written a completely "user friendly", step-by-step primer for making a business thrive regardless of what products or services it markets. All aspects of a developing a successful business are covered including assets, advertising, customer services, business equipment and technology, venture capital, market research, employee recruitment and benefits, inventory management, profitability, taxes, and more. Practical, accessible, methodical, comprehensive, effective, Grow Your Own Business is vital and recommended reading for anyone charged with making their business a success in today's highly competitive local, regional, national, and global marketplaces.

This is a heartening story that everyone can learn from.

An intricately informative piece of work, giving the reader all that is required in the subject. I wish more people would write with the same information quantity and quality.

I've just finished reading Mark's book and have found it to be thorough and accurate. It takes the reader from the beginnings of wireless LAN technology through as much detail as the reader can stand. It has many sections on practical installation and configuration of WLAN hardware and software, and leaves little to the imagination. This book makes a great resource for studying to become a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) - I'm impressed and hope to see more books like this from Mark in the future!

New Jersey has been called the great "Crossroads of the American Revolution" because of its important strategic location between New York and Philadelphia, a fact well recognized by George Washington when he based his military headquarters in Morristown. This significance is superbly portrayed in DiIonno's Guide by numerous and fascinating vignettes detailing the locations, some now forgotten, of the events that shaped our country's history. For American Revolution history buffs, especially those interested in New Jersey history, this book is a real page turner.

As a kid growing up in New Jersey I had only been taught the basics of what happened here during the Revolution. I had heard the names and stories of famous places like Trenton, Princeton, or Morristown. But these were only the tip of the iceberg. After reading the guide I was surprised to discover that New Jersey is filled with countless places, events, and people connected to the Revolution that have somehow been forgotten by the history books.

For example, does anyone today know about the Battle of Springfield from which the classic image of Patriots skirmishing with Redcoats comes from? Or about the infamous Baylor massacre? Or the retreat of the American Army through Bergen County that inspired Thomas Paine? And what about names like Erskine, Lord Stirling, and Reverend Caldwell? And lets not forget George Washington's Secret Weapon!

These stories are here in this book and they make for a great read. After reading several pages I was inspired to seek out these places and view them firsthand. Exact locations are provided in the guide. In fact, I learned that several of them were right in my own backyard. Down the street from where I live are places once occupied by Washington, Lafayette, and Cornwallis.

The book is also the perfect reference guide for a family or school fieldtrip. Seems to me like a great way to get kids interested in American History... or anyone else for that matter.

So go buy a copy and "Give em the Watts boys!"

This sixth installment in the Guildbook series provides more in depth information into the powers and secrets of the Spooks and Oracles. It provides a better feel for how the guilds operate; instead of merely what powers they practice. The dark and somewhat disturbing artwork helps to build the ambiance for a great Wraith Game, and inspires ideas with which a story teller can set an excellent scene.
