I HAD I VERY NICE SURPRISE WHEN I RECIBED THE ORIGINAL VW BEETLE BOOK. IT IS VERY GOOD ILUSTRATED, WHITH GOOD QUALITY, FULL COLOR PHOTOS. THE CARS IN THE PHOTOS ARE REALY NICE, IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITIONS. THE BOOK PRESENTS VERY USEFULL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVOLUTION OF THE VW, INDICATING FOR EACH YEAR, SINCE 1945, THE MAIN CHANGES. IN RESUME THE BOOK LOOKS LIKE A BARGAIN BOOK, BUT HAS INFORATION LIKE A CONSULTING BOOK. I WILL RECOMEND THIS BOOK TO MY FRIENDS, THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE VW. ALSO I THINK THE BOOK USEFULL FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THOSE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS WHICH HAVE MADE HISTORY.

Who would of thought that Kant could be so funny? I laughed out loud at every equation. Nc equals hours and hours of enjoyment! And I'm not just saying this because my uncle wrote it!

This is a great book for a novice on ornamental grasses. The pictures are great. Many suggestions for combinations of plants. All the obligatory information on zones, latin names, growing conditions, etc. are included but not in a technically overpowering manner. I purchased it for myself and am now buying it as a gift. I wouldn't give mine up!

Provides easy to read information on all key areas of orthopaedic surgery in a digestable length (900 pages). While it lacks in depth, it is a nice book to plow through during your intern year to get you ready for more advanced learning in specific topic areas.

it has a high pitch tone in the world of philosophy, poetry, and Prose in general. infact it is a very nice and highly intellectual book. when i picked it up, it was as though its going to be an embarrassing journey into discoveries, but by the time i finished the last pages of the write-up, i discovered the power of its adventures and all what Mark Henshaw was really talking about.

it is a Reality Beyond The Limits of Human perspective, Infact an Extraordinary Intellectual Energy. and you will really love it to the extreme because it is all about philiosphy, prose and poetry to nature.

The book has beautiful photos of O.B. programs around the world. It also contains a good synopsis of OB History and origins. It is rather outdated however - since 1991 there are now 50 Outward Bound schools, many of them not included in this edition. Also, information on the schools is no longer entirely accurate. As a current staff member for the Australian Outward Bound School, I noticed that the photos and text show activities we no longer run and areas in which we no longer operate. But fear not OB fans - rumour has it from a source at the Canadian Outward Bound Wilderness School I recently visited that another book is on the agenda for the author. I'm hanging out for that!This book is still a beautiful investment, especially for those interested in capturing OB before the 21st Century.

Arguably one of the best P-51 Mustang photobooks around at this moment, this 128-page book is crammed with good to very good colour photograps of surviving P-51 Mustangs. You will find most variants depicted here, such as an P-51A, an A-36, a P-51B (The look-a-like of the famous 'Shangri La' of Don Gentile), P-51Ds, a P-51H to the Cavalier Mk2s. Even the Piper Enforcer gets its share.
The only things missing for me, comparing this book to 'Spitfire, Flying Legend' or 'Hurricane, a Fighter Legend' from the same publisher, were some more background information and WW2 colour photographs of the Mustang and photographs of Mustangs operating in the Korean War.

This is one of the better books on physical anthropology among prehistoric peoples. Especially interesting is the chapter by Anthony Perzigian, Patricia Tench, and Donna Braun.
