I thought this book was pretty amazing- a story of freedom, love and motorcycles seething with criminality and the pleasures of the flesh. It's a love/adventure story, but with elements of the Wild West, Mom, and the Mob.

If you love the works of Mark Twain this is a splendid way to get them. I happen to own the original set of which these are a reprint. All the writing that Twain published in his own lifetime is here, including short stories, essays and topical pieces. Twain is ideal for browsing, and when you have the entire set you can browse to your heart's content.

I am interested in the 25 vol. set, but want to know the title and vol. number of each. Also the type of binding and how many publications this is for it,as well as the publisher, and address of publisher.

In fairly good condition, except for normal wear and tear, reader's use, travel, etc. They have a lithographed "signature page," which states "This is the authorized uniform edition of all my works" The copyright dates run from 1896 to 1907... anyone have an idea what they're worth?

A truly beautiful book, although I expected the pictures to be larger. There is not one full page photo in the book unfortunately. It would really enhance the book to have some of those lovely photos blown up full page.

I bought this for my daughter, a graduating Biologist, but it was so fascinating that I'm afraid she got a slightly used book. It covers all coral reefs anywhere in the world. The maps are superb, as are the color photographs of the reefs. Each reef had a discussion of conditions in the reef, and the life that grows there. It's a huge book but one starts wishing for more; more maps, more photos, more detail. Maybe in the next edition, but meanwhile we can enjoy this superb book just as it.

As the author of books about the ocean, I've read a lot of other books and articles about coral reefs. This is by far the best and most thorough book of its kind. Want to know what conditions are like on the Great Barrier Reef system? Around the Red Sea? Off Sulawesi? This is the place to go for answers. With wonderful maps and easy-to-understand text, it's destined to become the standard reference for divers, marine biologists and armchair adventurers who just want to learn more about this precious and fascinating ecosystem.

This book is OUTSTANDING and it is very easy to read! Mark made me laugh numerous times in this incredible book. Finally, a new thought/new age book that is not filled with "fluff" but real hardships, frustrations, and challenges that we all face as we find the courage to discover the God that is within while setting forth on the path that is less traveled.

Since, I have been on the path, the one way my Father-Mother God, angels, guides, ascended masters, saints, have spoken to me...is through books. How many times, I have I been in the bookstore and a book falls down...I know I am suppose to read it. Read, the book. Schmuel was a shoemaker whom the other people in Plotchnik called Poor Schmuel or Poor Stupid Schmuel because he often forgot to charge his customers and if they forgot pay, forgot to ask. But always somehow magically appeared whenever trouble emerged. To a beggar who came to town, Schmuel gave free and to a fierce bear which arrived in the streets, he gave a bowl of water.

Wonderful illustrations and a fabulous moral tale. Recommend for 4-6 year olds. It's a little over the head of my 3, but she's interested anyway.

This 208 page, softbound walk-through-the-past volume features 250 full color, very large, sharp photos that are a joy to behold. I enjoyed looking at the photos and reading each comprehensive write-up. A real memory jogger. I was quite surprised at the number of these things I actually owned as a child, and welcomed seeing them again in life-like color. Even many of the boxes are shown. There's plenty of interesting text accompanying the photos and year 2000 values. The toys run from Easy Bake Ovens, Slinky, Cootie, Thingmakers, Lincoln Logs, and Spirographs to Tootsietoys, Monster Kits, Pez, Colorforms, Life-Size Kitchens, Gilbert, Renwal Doll Stuff and Captain Kangaroo. You'll really enjoy seeing some of these toys you haven't thought of in years. I have many books on baby boomer collectibles, and this one ranks among the best. Get it and enjoy !

More substantially there are short essays on many of the toys. Little studies in anthropology, in social history, they tell us about the 50's and 60's. The tie-in of G.I. Joe and the draft is, I think, very apt and really well done.

Once you pick it up, you will be drawn in.

A great starter book for those interested in political collecting. If you do not yet own the Hake books, you'll get a lot of information from this. Contains lots of info on the hobby, fakes, prices, clubs to join etc... Mark is a political button dealer and knows the hobby well. He is also a super nice guy!

I found this book of great help when I am looking for buttons to buy--It tells the reader what to look for in counterfeits and how to accurately estimate prices--good book for beginning collectors!

I have read many books dealing with End-Time Prophecy. This author takes great care in developing an issue, then offering alternate points from other Bible students. He comments on each one with his own interpretation and then provides numbered reasons for his stand. On issues where there remains no clear answer in the Bible, he so states that position along with his opinion. I enjoyed this easy-to-read book.

Mark really did an, 'A+' job here and I can say that because I've read about 25 end-time books. His organization is just SUPERB and user-friendly. I have both read the book and seen Coach Snyder on the practice field, and what he tells you about in print, he uses with his own players. In a position where technique can make the player, this book is a must.
