On Stalin and Stalinism
ASIN -0192158422 Anybody can receive this book within a week or two. On Stalin and Stalinism is a book that I strongly recommend for anyone that is interested about the Russian Revolution and the conflicts it brought over who would have the most power between the key leaders including Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin. Medvedev examined first-hand stories from survivers of the Stalin Era, secret letters sent amongst government officials, and personal quotations that provided an insight to who these Soviet leaders were really like. The majority of the book was spent on the reasons why Stalin inflicted torture on innocent people. Their was never a boring part in the book but instead it kept me wanting to read more. Anybody who reads this book will gain an enormous amount of information about behind the scenes of the Communist Party. Instead of having his own opinion throughout the book, Medvedev was able to have a range of materials at his disposal since he is a Soviet author. If any student has to do a report on Stalin or is just in a mood to read a remarkable book then On Stalin and Stalinism is they novel for you.

Cool Book!! Eye Catching!
This is a great book. Entertaining, educational and sports quite a bit of intrigue. It's neat to see how your eyes can be "tricked"! Shows about 20 optical illusions, lets you guess, making sort of a game/challenge out of it, and provides explanations at the end. It's one of our favorites, we are never bored by this book. Big fun for kiddos from about age 4 or 5 to adult.

Am i weird?
Ok, iheard this book first when i was 7 and watching reading rainbow. i was really amused and interested in optical illusions. it was actually a cool book! i am now 14 and am still checking it out of the library. People stare at me. They think im a werido for checking out a kids book.

THIS BOOK IS TRULY AMAZING
I read this book when I was a lot younger. Now I am 12 and I still enjoying looking at the puzzles inside.

Organizational Modeling--A must read for org. change agents!
Apparently, as a result of their extensive consulting and research, Morabito, Sack, and Bhate have given the organizational and strategic designers of the world a thoughtful and powerful approach to design based on ARCHITECTURAL PRINCIPLES. They provide a meaningful and powerful FRAMEWORK to reduce complexity, solve design issues, and develop effective and innovative strategies, processes, tools as components of the design process. Their approach incorporates a surprising blend of soft people issues, an insightful prescriptive and descriptive modeling mechanism which embraces organizational structuring, organizational knowledge and learning, technologies, and tools, and even philosophy and culture.

Unlike other books, they have devised a conceptual model of core organizational domains and derivative management philosophies that is (in my opinion) a MUST READ for every serious organizational designer, business strategist, and knowledge based systems designer. Included in the basis of their theory is a design element, known as an ORGANIZATIONAL MOLECULE, which is a powerful building block to FRAME an organizational architect's understanding, specification, and implementation of organizational domains and derivative management philosophies (e.g. CULTURE, LEARNING. They promote management decision-making concerning WHAT we are doing, HOW to proceed, and WHY Organization Modeling (OM) works. This book reveals gems of imagination that are truly useful to advance the organizational design discipline and promote a truly imaginative and responsive approach to some of todays most prominent and puzzling organizational problems.

The book includes a discussion of data, knowledge, and information- the distinction among these are revealed via a brilliant, simple visual metaphor known as the INFORMATION CONTINUUM. They also have presented a truly unifying concept known as KNOWLEDGE BINDING which is basically defined by asking for any business development process the following questiions: Who applies knowledge? Where is it applied? When is it applied? The three types of binding identified are EARLY, LATE and REALTIME binding. They explain that the philosophy behind knowledge binding is the separation between specification(what does a process have to do) with implementation (how does a process do it). In the 21st century learning organization there is increasingly a requirment to utilize a framework that necessitates a significant shift towards late knowledge binding while retaining some ealry knowledge binding. Some of the causes of this shift are the nature of knowledge work, the increased complexities and uncertainties of the environment (e.g., new technological developments, globlaization, the nature of 21st century work itself, the new role of the manager (as well as the new role of knowledge workers) as knowledge-architect. They present a five star model of the 21st century learning organization which emphasizes organizational context and knowledge-context-value interaction. The authors have pulled together some of the best scholarly work by strategist Mintzburg, management guru Peter Drucker, and noted economist John Kay and framed all these different approaches with an integration mechanism that in my opinion strengthens the notable contributions of these prominent scholars by adding an appropriate amount of precision that strengthens their formulations without dismissing the creative or soft side of architecture. I think the book establishes a new standard of excellence in organizational architecture through its great vision of the future.

If you are interested in seeing SIGNIFICANT relationships between the "left brain" and the "right brain" of the organization, then this book is for you. It will give you an ELEGANT and POWERFUL approach that will frame your strategic decisonmaking and process innovation, and most of all advance your capabiiity to DESIGN BY ARCHITECTURE. As Frederick Winslow Taylor gave the vision and approach to the industrial era (scientific management), thanks to these three authors I now have (and so will you) the vision and approach to the design whether you apply it to macro-organizational or micro-organizational design which they have named OM: Organization Modeling.

This book is a great springboard and a well of wisdom that will help you launch your own research and design efforts whether you are designing organizational strategies, processes, technology, tools or other key organizaitonal domains. Therefore, my recommendation is for you to buy it, read it, and KEEP it as an advanced reference that will inspire and help you create a dynamic and responsive organizational design.

For graduate college students it is a good source for term papers and theses (M.S. and Ph.D.). There are amply illustrated and richly detailed tables, design diagrams, and listings distributed throughout the book as well as an abundance of reference and use of scholarly work from organizational strategy, economics, history, philosophy, and culture.

If you are a designer of information systems and you would like to learn more about design of all organizational domains (including cultural, learning, philosophical, historical, human, technological, and sociological considerations)--this is the book for you. Likewise if you are a strategist who would like to understand the business value of information or knowledge-based systems--this is the right book for you too!

In summary, Organization Modeling is a SIX STAR book that is a reference, text, and practical guide. It has genuinely been both a catalyst and inspiration in my career as a businesss strategist and manager-architect.

Ground Breaking
In a world where technology has come to permeate our lives, where businesses and the organizations which comprise them have become more virtual and knowledge-based in nature, business and IT professionals have struggled to find common ground in their understanding of how businesses operate and how technology can enhance both the efficiency and effectiveness of that operation. Organization Modeling, Innovative Architectures for the 21st Century, has successful brought together, for the business/technology manager, some of the key issues and thinking surrounding how organizations and the technology they have come to rely on should be woven together.

Rather than simply providing a new "spin" on the way today's business and organizations need to operate, the book provides new insights into how to foster communication, use information more effectively, develop collaborative behaviors, as well as tools and techniques to help align business/information strategies.

Both business and IT professionals will find this book extremely valuable in helping them understand how to analyze and design new business processes and organizational structures which effectively leverage technology as well as the skills, talents, and capabilities of the organization's members. The book goes a long way in providing business and IT professionals with a strong framework with which to understand business problems and it introduces them to new tools and techniques which I think are extremely valuable in helping architect business solutions.

Insightful, Educational, and Thought Provoking
Information modeling, organization theory and design, knowledge management, strategic planning, and process design are all subjects of dozens of published books. Organization Modeling (OM) introduces an innovative framework to utilize these and other relative techniques. The authors have created a novel approach, architecture, and framework that any organization wishing to compete in the 21st century should not be without. Based in existing organization theory, the authors have extended well beyond the traditional theorists. Instead, OM provides a roadmap for business professionals. They have also clearly drawn the line dividing information technology and business modeling. If you are an information technology person expecting another technique for object oriented programming, this book is not for you. If, though, you are an information technology person who desires to move beyond the IT world, this book will provide the tools and framework to move in that direction. If you are an organizational theorist looking for another school of pure organizational theory, you will find much more than that here. Instead, you will find a synthesis of organization theory and other disciplines in a pragmatic yet holistic framework. A word of caution, this book is not some form of "pop-theory" that can be read in a day or two. I was familiar with many of the subjects in the book and still found the best method for reading was absorption and reflection. I found myself examining how each section of the book could be applied at my current business situation. The book uses an extended information modeling technique introduced by Kilov. Once again, I found myself creating Kilovish models of my current situation to provide greater insight into the material. The book starts by setting the foundation of OM. This foundation introduces key concepts such as the organization molecule, and emergent organizational patterns. Once the foundation is set, the authors introduce applications to key concepts such as information, data, knowledge, culture, and learning. One soon comes to realize the true power of an architecture/framework at this level of abstraction. This book is a must have for any person interested understanding and moving their organization into the 21st century, or students of management related studies.

Origin
Origin is a great book. I could not put it down. Joseph Paige's writing style is surreal. His attention to detail of the Roswell incident is astounding, along with a storyline and ending that will knock your socks off. I did not want this story to end and I am very much looking forward to reading Joseph Paige's next novel.

If you've ever been curious about UFO's read this book
Origin is well written, entertaining and keeps you wanting to read more. It takes from you feelings of curiosity and fear to feelings of sorrow. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait for Joseph's next book.

Origin - Fresh & Original
With Origin, Joseph Paige brings a new and original premise to the Roswell incident. Book is throughly researched and, while a work of fiction, brings historical figures of the day into a very believable and plausible story line. Highly Recommended for all readers

A great reference piece
I am a college junior, and I have found no book more helpful in my studies than this one. It is a great reference work that can be used for so many topics and in so many contexts. It is a necessity in my reference collection. The etymlogies of so many roots and words are throroughly explained, and done so with amazing clarity.

Word Ninja

Erudite and entertaining
Among the 5,000 books in my library, 50 or 60 of them being dictionaries, this is one of the most erudite and entertaining -- a rare combination. The author's knowledge of literature and language is quite remarkable. Apart from being an invaluable serious reference work it is also a wonderful tome for reading in bed (and it's not too heavy!) It is somewhat too complex, too "deep", to buy as a birthday present for an Auntie or Uncle with everyday interests, but it would make a wonderful present for a gifted young nephew or niece who loves to explore and learn about the wondrous riches of our linguistic and literary heritage

Absolutely stunning
Shipley is a scholar who wrote a study of Tolkien's language; his "discursive dictionary" shows the same mix of scholarship and fun. The book itself is organized by Indo-European roots. Shipley does not, however, expect you to know the IE root of an English word off the top of your head - he does provide an English to root index.

Tidbits of information come from an amazingly broad range of topics. For example, speaking of the root plumbum (lead) he mentions that it may come via Iberia because lead was mined in Spain as early as 2000 BC. In the entry on men (for math etc.) we get a quote from Dryden on Bacchus. In short, you get the information you need (the etmology and history of a word) along with fun tidbits.

The only complaint is that the dictionary is too fun ... looking up a word will always turn into an hour long browsing for enjoyment.

A must read for anyone interested in MRP
Everybody interested in MRP has seen Orlicky's book as a reference work. This book compliles it's work plus all the developments of this technique since its issue in the fifties. The beauty of this work is that it gathers all the pitfalls, successes and fails encountered by the "MRP crusades". It also contends about the realationship between MRP and JIT and it's possible combination.

An excellent introduction to MRP.
I am the system administator at my company. Out of frustration at many problems we have been having with the MRP module of our integrated system, I looked for a good source of knowledge about how MRP *should* work. In Orlicky's MRP I found that source. Orlicky's MRP is probably one of the best written books on the subject that I've seen. I had no trouble at all understanding the complex concepts that were presented, despite my lack of MRP knowledge and experience. Indeed, during the time that I read the book, I discovered that there were several things we were doing wrong because we didn't have a good understanding about the way MRP should work. For example, for a long time we had been laboring under the fallacy that a released work order should increase allocations not only for the primary components of a parent but also for the components of those components! Orlicky's MRP set me straight, stating that mistaking the Planning phase of MRP for the Execution phase (or vice-versa) was a common problem. I will never have that problem again thanks to this book. Another thing I learned from this book was how the bill of material, MRP, and backflushing were interrelated. This book is an excellent manual for those who wish to learn more about MRP, and it's a good source to refer to when looking for answers about why your MRP system isn't performing well.

material requirements planning
I want to study "The detail logic of material requirements planning".

Out of a Kantian Chrysalis?: A Maritainian Critique of Fr. Maréchal

It was good to discover this book.
I have to agree with the positive reviews below with regard to this book. I've been interested for some time in the issue of truth in religion. Yet, given the current phenomenon of religious pluralism, can there be objective truth in the realm of religion? This book was a great find for me, in that it helpfully worked through some of this philosophical territory. I'd never realized, for example, what an impact Kant has had on the development of a relativist approach to religion. The book's method is pretty unique: it uses a fascinating correspondence between two great Catholic philosophers as a means to study the philosophical issues involved. McCamy has made effective use of the discussion and debate between Jacques Maritain and Joseph Marechal in order to explore both sides of this subject. Those names didn't mean much to me before reading this book. Now that I know what truly significant thinkers Maritain and Marechal both were, I'm surprised I'd never heard of them before. McCamy's method somehow personalizes philosophical material that might otherwise be a bit abstract for some readers. The author ends up critiquing the relatlivism of religious pluralism, and defending objective truth in religion. His discussion is balanced, and his conclusion is carefully argued. He shows, for example, that the claim that all human concepts are "contingent" and "mutable" is really self defeating--he shows that conceptual knowledge DOES apply to religious claims. A religion, in other words, can't be "true" for me but "false" for you. I would have missed out on this book if a friend who uses the book to teach some of his college philosophy classes hadn't told me about it. While it's college or graduate school reading, it's also helpful to laypersons like myself. I also did some research on the book, and found out that it has been favorably reviewed in some academic journals (Philosophia Christi; Maritain Studies; Presbyterian Layman; etc.). The author seems well qualified: he has graduate degrees in both theology and philosophy. That matters to me, since so much of what is written about religious issues is just "fluff." I vote with the other reviewers and recommend the book.

An eye-opening account of the rise of religious relativism
How did I miss this book when it was first published? It has been a terrific help to me in understanding that the real divide in religion today is between those who think that truth and cognitive content applies to religious statements and those who do not. For the latter, there can be a "plurality" of "truths"--even when they are contradictory--because "truth" becomes relative to personal or cultural factors. For the Transcendental Thomists (new to me before this book), what counts is the non-cognitive "dynamism" to the Absolute. This is more fundamental, for them, than is conceptual knowledge. But it is conceptual knowledge that is the basis for doctrinal statements. Marechal, Rahner and Lonergan, in variations on an epistemological theme, can ultimately accept conflicting "truths" in religion, because the "dynamism" to the Absolute is more fundamental. For me, the position of Jacques Matitain makes more sense. I think he was right to insist that concepts and doctrine DO count, and that there is no such intellectual "dynamism" as that described by Transcendental Thomists. This book is very relevant to the Pope's latest Declaration on Truth in religion, "Dominus Iesus." McCamy's book makes the significance of this latest Declaration much more accessible and clear to me. I think it will to many others also. I strongly recommend this book for all those who have an interest in the relation of truth to religion, whether one is Catholic or non-Catholic, etc. Buy a copy for yourself, and donate one to your local library. Thanks Ronald McCamy for a very informative and important book!

A Kantian Thomistic Rapprochement?
McCamy examines a debate between the father of Transcendental Thomism, Fr. Joseph Maréchal, and a traditional Thomist, Jacques Maritain that took place in the 1920's. Joseph Maréchal attempted to find a way to bring about a "rapprochement" between Kantian subjectivism and traditional Thomist realism. As is the case with most pluralistic endeavors, some of the underlying rationale for doing such a thing is to bring the church "up to speed" with the age. Indeed, the contemporary pluralisms of Karl Rahner, Bernard Lonergan, etc., are directly indebted to the post-Kantian innovations of Maréchal. McCamy writes, "Maritain, on the other hand, understood such a development to be epistemologically suicidal." Maritain himself said, "A scholastic butterfly cannot be made to emerge from a Kantian chrysalis." McCamy demonstrates the lack of need for such a "rapprochement" with Kant by retelling this debate with adroitness and subtle wit.

McCamy's prose is lively and accessible. It will provide a solid foundation for anyone to understand and answer the philosophical underpinnings of pluralism and relativism. Its value is threefold: its historical perspective on Kantian subjectivism, a ready compendium for some sound philosophy, and real insight into the philosophical sloppiness of modern pluralism. This is a wonderful addition to any library!

An anthology of Old Right political thought
Joseph Scotchie notes that the term 'Paleoconservatism' arose in the 1980's, perhaps in opposition to the rise of the 'neoconservatism', which is the so called conservatism of the Beltway Right. 'Neoconservatism' was first articulated as an ideology by Irving Kristol who characterized himself as a "liberal mugged by reality." Neocons essentially accept the FDR New Deal, the Welfare State, an interventionist foreign policy, open borders and cosmpolitian internationalism, whereas paleoconservatives reject these instruments of big government.

Paleoconservatism resonates with Middle America and stands opposed to not only liberalism, but to the pseudoconservatism of the Northeastern Establishment and the Beltway, which acquiesces with much of liberalism's vision for America. Neocons characterize themselves as realists and concede big government is here to stay, we just to need to capture its machinery and utilize it for our ends. Hence, the virtual abandonment of the idea lauded by Republicans in the 1980s to abolish the federal Dept. of Education. Now, in 21st century, they've told the Democrats we'll match your federal education appropriation and double it. Is it any wonder the Left is winning in this game of tug and war, neocons used to be just 2 decades behind liberals on what was acceptable. And today, well... sigh...

The Old Right traces its early twentieth century roots to New Deal opposition. It was a diverse group to say the least, including classical republicans, populists, paleolibertarians, Midwestern agrarians and Southern traditionalists. There are schisms amongst modern day paleoconservatives over issues like free trade, however, those who articulate a free trade position often due so with reservations and remained opposed to free trade treaties and the WTO such as Congressman Ron Paul of Texas.

Featured are essays from Russell Kirk, the father of twentieth century conservatism, who addresses the question of tradition and the relevance of class, status, religion and culture to American life. Murray Rothbard offers a tongue-in-cheek look at Life in the Old Right, which gives a window into the anti-FDR New Deal opposition. Populist economist William R. Hawkins defends a protectionist trade policy and sets out to prove the destructiveness of a free trade policy in his essay the Anti-History of Free Trade Idelogy. James Burnham, author of Suicide of the West, offers an essay on 'the managerial society.' Conservative thinker Allan Carlson offers his thoughts on education, home and family. Other essayist featured are Paul Gottfried, Richard Weaver and Clyde Wilson.

The Paleoconservatives captures the essence of an authentic American conservatism. Certainly it has a divergent cast of characters with varying positions. However, their common commitment to classical republicanism, parochial regionalism and federalism generally bridges the gap. They hardly seek to play the all or nothing game the neoconservatives play in trying to articulate a 'general will' for the whole nation, but rather favor devolution, states' rights and a doctrine of federalism commensurate with original intent. Paleoconservatives aren't afraid to put America First, despite being denounced as xenophobes, reactionaries and various other slurs.

Old Right Essays.
_The Paleoconservatives_ contains essays from various Old Right thinkers and scholars that emphasize the traditional conservative outlook. Paleoconservativism emphasizes such aspects of society and culture as tradition, family life, religion, populism, nationalism, and protectionism as a trade policy. The paleoconservatives are firmly opposed to immigration, the welfare state, the New Deal and subsequent legislation, and often to free trade and unnecessary interventionist wars. Unlike many "neoconservatives" who have lost touch with the conservative tradition and now emphasize globalization, internationalism, and interventionism, the paleoconservatives have tried to retain a nationalist/isolationist outlook. These essays featuring such thinkers as Murray Rothbard, Frank Chodorov, James Burnham, Russell Kirk, Richard M. Weaver, Chilton Williamson Jr., William Hawkins, Allan Carlson, M. E. Bradford, Thomas Fleming, Paul Gottfried, Clyde Wilson, and Samuel Francis give a good introduction to the philosophy underlying the paleoconservative movement. Topics include a history of the Old Right, the immorality of taxation, the managerial state, traditional conservativism, immigration, the breakdown of the family and the need for home schooling, the distinction between a free trade and a protectionist policy, and the need for a new kind of nationalism. For those of us who see the sham of liberalism and modern day "neoconservativism", these essays offer some hope for a restoration of a traditional oulook opposed to modernism, multi-culturalism, internationalism, and modern day interventionism.

An important collection of paleoconservative essays
This is a great collection of essays that captures true, classic conservatism, known also as paleoconservatism. Many so-called conservatives today are "neoconservatives," and the neocons have come to dominate the movement with their money and media access. Neocons are really liberals dressed up with conservative rhetoric, they seek to make liberal values and institutions more efficient, but not abolish them. Most of the founding fathers of the neoconservative movement are Jewish refugees from the Democratic Party of the 1970s. This collection of paleoconservative essays restores what the neocons have tried to stamp out: the traditionalism, nationalism, and populism of the American Old Right. One of the best essays is that of William Hawkins, who illustrates the difference between the 19th century liberals (today's libertarians) and conservatives on trade policy. Hawkins makes the crucial point that the free trader libertarians of the 19th c. might appear to be the allies of conservatives in opposition to big government, but that is only superficial because people have forgotten that in the 19th century the welfare state did not exist. This means that the libertarians were against the traditional (and legitimate) function of the state--preserving borders, a military, sovereignty, etc. In other words, the libertarians' true agenda is a cosmopolitan, borderless, one-world order in which there are no ties to home, to family, to race and culture, just hyperatomized individuals engaging in economic transactions. This insight alone into libertarianism is worth its weight in gold.

All you ever need to know about pendulums in a nutshell
This is a wonderful book which summarizes practically all you need to know about pendulums and dowsing, from the history to the best materials for making pendulums and all possible uses such as searching for lost items as well as making decisions (e.g. about relationships, business or which foods are good/bad for you). While not glossy, if you buy only one book about pendulums, this should be the one. This book in this or previous form(s) has been around for years - a testament to its worth.

Pendulum Power
Although Pendulum Power, by Greg Nielsen and Joseph Polansky, has been around for several years, its message is more relevant than ever in the confusing and turbulent times in which we now live.

A pendulum is simply a suspended object which is allowed to swing as dictated by the force of gravity. Pendulums are commonly used in grandfather clocks. Pendulums have another, far more ancient use, however. For thousands of years, they have been an essential part of divination. Nielsen and Polansky say "the pendulum is simply one method of many for communing consciously with our deeper being and allowing it to guide our everyday actions."

Their book introduces readers to the extensive history of the pendulum, from early divination to 20th-century medical practice. They then explain how the energy that is a part of every living organism makes the pendulum work. They say that the human nervous system "is the communication system of the body" and using a pendulum allows you to interpret the signals your "inner higher intelligence [communicates] through the nervous system."

Pendulums are very easy and inexpensive to make. A ring or button suspended from thread makes a simple pendulum. For readers wanting something more elegant, the authors provide detailed instructions for constructing a pendulum from doweling. Extensive directions are given for using pendulums. Readers will learn what kinds of questions to ask, and how to interpret the various movements of the pendulum. Nielsen and Polansky provide examples of how pendulums have been used to find lost objects, choose a career or change jobs, select a healthy diet based on personal needs, and aid in other types of decision making.

Pendulums are also used in healing. Anyone trying to determine the best decision or course of action, based on their personal needs, will find the techniques provided in Pendulum Power useful and enlightening.

Good Beginning Level Introduction To Dowsing
This book is a nicely-balanced presentation, oriented generally towards someone interested in learning how to dowse with the pendulum. It also has some interesting sections on the history of dowsing and true stories of dowsers in action. If you are going to pursue this endeavor, I think it is important to realize that practice makes perfect. The authors suggest spending one week of practicing several times a day, just watching the pendulum move various ways strictly under the influence of your will and desire. This is extremely important, because it teaches you to relax, let go and trust your subconscious mind. The second important step is to understand that there is "no order of difficulty in miracles", to paraphrase A Course In Miracles. It is no more difficult (or easy) to find a missing child in another state via map-dowsing than it is to successfully dowse for your car keys. The apparent difference in difficulty is artificial and all in one's belief system. Both events are "miracles" in that there is no rational explanation for how you found either. So your faith in the connectedness of all things must grow considerably, or you will simply fizzle out as a dowser. That's a significant challenge, but one worth rising to.

This book will give you a good start...

great for therapeutics class and for pharmacy practice
This is a great book, easy to read and follow. Concise enough where you can read it fast but with enough background information so the drug therapy makes sense. You will get a thorough understanding on what drugs are used and why. Picks up on the key points a pharmacist needs to know in practice and a student or someone who is studying for the boards needs to know for exams. Flowcharts are great, has JNC-VI guidelines which are the standard when it comes to drug therapy and pharmaceutical care. Overall, a great book that will enhance your understanding by leaps and bounds.

Extremely needed
an excellent reference for students in their clinical clerkship rotations. It does facilitate life as it is extremely well written with the right details..

Thorough, yet concise, coverage of all major disease states
This is the best formatted, most current handbook on pharmacotherapy. I especially appreciate the pathophysiologic approach, drug treatment, and monitoring parameters outlined throughout the book. Chapters are concise, and yet offer thorough coverage of the most commonly encountered disease states. Each chapter is written by one or more expert in the field; chapters can be read very quickly. A great working tool for clinical pharmacists. I definetely recommend it.
