This book read very easy and I found myself not wanting to put it down. Joe had a lifetime of stories to tell and some will shock you and others will make you laugh. All of you NASCAR fans will learn how some of the early drivers learned how to handle a car. I would recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in how things were done in the south years ago. we came to expect from Joseph Rykwert works of great erudition, which incessantly delve into their subject matter to uncover its deepest folds and hidden meanings...[perhaps a "deconstruction" without the fancy of that attribute], and this work is no exception to this. This is a thick investigation into the meanings of the column, and from that into the associations of body and building, into the meanings of classical architecture. For the erudite, a pleasure; for the professional, a necessary though at times difficult read. Not a coffee table book, though...amateurs beware.

This was the textbook used in my database class. Mr Adamski, one of the two authors, was my professor.

The book is a very handy reference after college once one is in the career field. I keep it at my desk and use it often with my work as a web developer developign web pages that rely heavily on databases.

This is one of the best and most comprehensive bookshelf volumes on the topic of nuclear, biological, chemical and conventional weapons production, proliferation, and stockpiling. Organized by weapons system type and geographic location, Cirincione and his research team provide a straightforward and rather frightening catalog of current programs and stockpiles, as well as regional and country-specific forecasts.

Though it is not the most comprehensive coverage of the topics, it is the best source of information that one can lift single-handedly. The only other single-source volumes you'll find on these topics are issued by the U.S. government and contain thousands of pages.

If you need to know something about weapons of mass destruction or ballistic missile programs, this is the book to reference.

It is not very often that you find a great book about the life of Joseph Machebuef. This book is excellent reading material for people who are interseted in the catholic relegion. It outline the life of Machbuef who has been characterized in the book Death Comes of the Archbishop. This book is well written and deserves a lot of credit for his excellent presentation of Machebuef's life. Many people will find this book gpes down into the deepest information about this man's life. No detail will be left out. This is a must read for catholoholics.

Amoto delves into the web of historical and sociological factors that contribute to the decline of rural Minnesota and does so with ease and precision. The writing is simple and smooth, and avoids technical jargon. It is a short read.

True to being written by a historian, the book is descriptive in nature, briefly tracking the path from the industrial age and how it affected Minnesota in the 19th Century to what has happened ever since.

"The Decline of Rural Minnesota" is useful in highlighting what pitfalls communities should avoid in fighting rural decline, such as being overly optimistic about what St.Paul (Minnesota's capital)will or can do to help. Amoto helps in showing how the spirit of competition that exists between cities can end up hurting everyone. Not too much is offered as to what specific steps communities can take to fight decline, perhaps this is someone else's task.

I also enjoyed the book because the challenges rural Minnesota face (aging population, changes in the profile of leadership, having to do more with less) are mirrored in the churches of the region. Anyone who has an interest in what is happening to rural churches will find clarity in Amoto's descriptions.

Before decline can be thwarted, it is helpful to know what it is that we are up against.

Can you feel any logical sensation with the so called mysticism.Ghazzali was the best practician of the logic upon mysticism.Ghazzali was not only a master of the recent affairs throughout the islamic world but also his sctriptures were extremely donated along the western humanities and the philosophy of renaissance.Ghazzali was the eclectic face of the last thousand years in the eastern half the western world(that is Islam,yeah you're right!)

The work is a valuable listing of direct and indirect source material for each oracular response, offering further information towards deeper research. A read for the erudite scholar of Greek Religion, yet an interest to readers of Greek Societal Mores.

You can read this for pleasure or personal edification. It's probably quite hard to get hold of now. It's a classic, and it's completely out of date. A bit like Plutarch.
