This is a wonderful book. I devoured it like I would a Snickers candy bar! It is full of emotions...laughter, joy, sadness, emptiness and the "full feeling of the Spirit". The book is full of honesty and heartfelt genuineness. I found many things in the book that pertained to me personally and some things that didn't. But I believe every person who reads this book will garner exactly what Jesus wants them to. These authors are terrific examples by sharing their own personal "Spirit Walk", good and bad, empty and sad, unfulfilled and finally fulfilled just by saying "Come Holy Spirit".

The authors are clearly THE experts in the field of Sports Related Concussion. They share their experience in high school and college athletics as well as the NFL and NHL. The research that is quoted is very revealing. They claim most leg and knee injuries are examined by physicians, but most brain injuries are not! That's a scary thought!

I was especially impressed with the comments from professional athletes who have suffered numerous concussions before gaining an understanding of the health implications. Their stories should be read by every coach and trainer!

This little prayer book is thorough. It contains the Breviary, as well as prayers for all occasions. I especially like the commentaries on spirituality and prayer by those who have formed our heritage--Teresa of Avila, John Henry Newman, and many others. All of this in a compact little book.

This is one awesome Bible! Although the description above says large print the binding of mine says 'Giant Print'. It is great for those with poor vision or want a Bible that is easy on the eyes. The binding is super-high quality.It also includes a dictionary and doctrinal index.

My daughter received this Children's bible on the day of her first communion. She loves it! And so do I. This book presents bible stories in true to bible form, yet easy for the child to understand. The pictures and very nice. It is a wonderful gift for any child. It reads like a story book, and holds the attention of the child. I'd recommend this Chilcren's bible every time!

The New American Catechism does what the Baltimore Catechism did not do, which is update itself with the teachings of Vatican II. The New American Catechism is written in the same format as the Baltimore Catechism (i.e.: question and answer). In addition, the book is wonderfully illustrated, in limited color (red, black, white and grey). The sections also seem to follow the Baltimore Catechism as well, which will make the transition from Baltimore to New American Catechism an easy one. The main difference between these two catechisms is that the New American quotes directly from the Vatican II documents. So the reader gets answers to their questions from three routes (The Catechism itself, the Bible and the teachings of Vatican II). The book is written for high school aged people, but I've found that this book is very handy when doing RCIA (Rite of Initiation of Christian Adults) classes.
