...Poetic Musings On This Thing Called Love...
Working at a promotional event on a sunny day in San Francisco, I was exposed to this book because we (the radio station I work for) were giving away copies of it in time for Valentines Day. As I flipped through the pages of its poetic musings on love, I found myself completely drawn in. I went so far as to actually write down the name and author of this book so I could find it again. Well, my work has paid off, and I am glad that I have been able to find "Words Of Love" on Amazon. I think this one is great for the coffee table, and even better for the soul...I highly recommend it.

Thanks for reading!

Best Intro for the Curious in Orisha Religion
First of all I really do like both of Joseph Murphy's books. This one and Santeria African Spirits in America. They speak truthfully, and are an excellent recourse of information for those who are curious in understanding the Lucumi Santeria Religion. Working the Spirits is a remarkable read, full of wisdom, and respect. 'No he is not an Initiated priest of the Religion!" But Mr. Murphy writes with such respect, and one can tell he really researched the various Orisha religions, and grew to have a great respect and love for them. While I highly recommend Santeria African Spirits in America for those who want to have some knowledge of the Lucumi Religion, I also have to recommend Working the Spirits, as it goes into the Orisha sects of Candomble, Umbanda, Voodoo, Brujeria, and Espiritismo.

Most extensive guide ever!
This is simply the most extensive work and study on all forms of paper money (also a little something for numismatists and scriptophilists) issued during the Second World War, thus the title of the book. It goes further than just being a "Catalogue" as it unveils the history behind the issues and disseminates data much like a detective novel, piecing together long forgotten information. Simply a must for all Military Notes enthusiasts and World War Two buffs and anyone interested in history and economic effects during the war.

World Well Broken

Author: Joseph Donahue
Amazon base price: $29.95

Joseph Donahue is poet of rare elegance and spiritual power
On the back cover of this book Kathleen Fraser writes "Donahue's immense poetic gifts reveal themselves at the site of the tragic". I find that the six extended poetic sequences included in this book prove that statement true. The book is filled with awe, with mystery, with radiance and yes, with pain. As the poet puts it in "Christ Enters Manhattan", "Our names dissolve/& the vibration touches all"... Donahue remains one of our most powerful poets, a writer of rare elegance and spiritual power.

Must reading for members of U.S. Congress
One of the frankest and most constructive analyses of U.S. foreign assistance in Africa. If Stepanek's advice were understood and followed perhaps African nations/people could actually make progress in breaking the cycle of dependency.

Write a New Name in the Book of Life

Interesting Book To Read
I've read the introductory book "The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murpy. This expands on it even more on how our prayers get answered by using the 7 seals that was mentioned in reveleations and about reincarnating our spirit (transforming our spirit). This pretty much makes me dwell when we'll be in Heaven what our purpose there will be and on this earth. It's really good... to dwell on positive/holy thoughts/spiritual thoughts whenever I'm feeling down I keep reading this spiritual booklet over and over again and I feel spiritually renewed again.

Write Your Own Horoscope

Uncannily correct!
I used this book (mine is an older version) to plot my own horoscope. From the resulting chart I then looked for a description of who I am, what my personality and characteristics are.

It's uncanny but the resulting composite description really describes me. There are things which even I have not been consciously aware of but which now make perfect sense to me.

I believe that knowing yourself is the single most important first step before anything. And this book really simplifies this process enormously.
