This is the first and only Bible I have read. I read it in it's entirety, including all the footnotes. I had lost a son and read it, seeking comfort and understanding. I found neither. It appears the interpreters very objectively attempted to carry out the directive of Pope Pius XII in providing the most accurate translation possible from the oldest and/or best sources. The Bible is not what I had been brought up to believe. I am in the process of reading it a second time. I must also give Pius XII 5 stars for his courage in what I see as a change in the direction of the Church by bringing this translation to us and by so doing, encouraging it's study.

I have been diabetic for 28 years and living in fear of my uncertain future. Dr. Goodmans book addressed the misconceptions about this disease one step at a time. His words were reassuring and essential for every Diabetic to read. Diabetics cannot tolerate so much misinformation about the horrors of Diabetes. Thank you Dr. Goodman for being a voice of reason and allowing me to visualize a bright future for me and my family!

There was only one part in the book where I was disappointed in the views of Dr. Goodman. He said "patients should avoid using an insulin pump for the time being". I have been utilizing an insulin pump for a year and a half and I have never felt better in my life. It has given me the freedom that non-diabetics enjoy and I feel great. I HIGHLY recommend the insulin pump for those people that are intensely managing their diabetes.

A good general cookbook with some of the best nutrition exchange information. Searching bookshelves, I've been surprised at how few of the books (particularly for diabetics) didn't give nutrition information in any depth. I have a relative new to diabetes and the food exchanges, counting fat grams, etc. are confusing and difficult--this was almost exactly what I wanted.

The book is extracts from the very intimate journals of the fiddle and dancing master who taught Queen Victoria, her husband and their older children all about Scottish dancing and music and through those many subtle lessons about the essential Scottish character. As they master the steps and dances you join them as they start to have fun, putting on small dance parties and then grand Highland balls. By the end of the book you will want to find your nearest Royal Scottish Country Dance Society class and learn enough to join in the exact same fun.

This dictionary is and excellent, well researched text. It would benefit anyone trying to learn the language for the first time or for proficient speakers looking to improve their vocabulary. It's been a long search to find a comprehensive text like this one.

It is an excellent book for beginners as well as for the professionals.

This book has been approved by Microsoft in their Microsoft Office User Expert Exam as a prep book. The user downloads many sample Microsoft Databases from the web. Lexus automobile web site is used for extensive examples. The book is divided into 10 weeks or 10 chapters and has excellent illustrations and guidance.

One of the best Access books ever and I have a library of 50 of them. Covers Access new web features, data access pages. Also, a great explanation of databases and normalization of databases. Also includes a review of windows for beginners.

This publication provides an excellent overall scope of the many primary functions within the MS ACCESS 97 software. It makes an excellent choice for teachers and students alike, as well as the homebound student or officebound professional. :^)

The editors colloborated so well on ways to teach a very important lesson -- the Holocaust. I would reccommend this book to any educator and even any parent!
