I would not recommend this book; I really could not find anything worth the time it took to read it. I only got half way through it and that was about 100 pages too much. There are too many good books out there.

After reading The Blue Balloon by Frank Asch, I asked myself over and over again, what exactly was this book about? I wonder if the book has some connection with the Vietnam Era (published, 1971)? Why is the balloon green and not blue? It is difficult to pinpoint the plot or purpose of the story. It is my opinion, that the book is not appropriate for young children because of this. I also found it especially disturbing when the main character enters the scene with a gun. what is that telling our children? I guess, I simply do not understand the whole structure or purpose of this book. Can anyone explain? I value Frank Asch as a writer and he has written many wonderful books that are on my children's shelves, as well as, the shelves in my classroom. But, this book has me baffled!

This book lacked a good theme, and did not have any sexual, explosive, or drug-use action.

If you have a property ins claim, this book might help, but it
gave no advice on how to get anything if you had an Auto Claim.

It was disappointing.

This booklet has virtually no useable content! This is nothing more than a sales pitch for additional materials and training seminars. Save your time on this one.

I can't believe it! If you're going to write a book about someone you think they'd check the facts! Frank Sanello must not know much about Tom Cruise - first of all he had him down as the lead in Endless Love (including a photo of 'not Tom Cruise' with Brooke Shields. There were also pics of Tom with Rebecca DeMornay in All the right moves (wasn't that Risky Business? ). This is just the start and I could go on - but I won't it's rubbish....he made up stuff to fill the pages....a non-fiction book is meant to be just that! I'm sure I could find plenty of other Tom Cruise books that will actually give me the facts...

The plot has more holes than Swiss cheese! The characters, particularly, the hot shot car dealership owner are the typical 70's stereotypes. Victoria seems to end up hating herself after having a sexual experience .. all in all very poor writing!

find another book.

You'd think with a title as provocative as this one, there would be at least one decent conjuration, one useful alchemical manipulation, or at least a decent shrimp salad recipe (is there one?). But no, what you get is a black comedy that tries to make asses out of people who believe in God. It makes them look like shallow, unintellectual swine who could be convinced into believing the most silly things.

So, if you are religious and have a brain, look elsewhere. If you like reading about demons, get something by Aliester Crowley or H.P. Lovecraft...
