Great book for teaching problem solving skills as well as review of math concepts. Good appendix with a handy two page summary table of problem solving strategies that are presented throughout the book. Could easily be used in GATE program. Teaches children how to apply the math skills they have learned.

I have two other books in spanish by this author and my four year old loves them. this is a very simple story of animals at the zoo that need to take a bath. The first two pages have some vocabulary words. If you want your kids to learn spanish than this is a good one to start out with because it is short, simple, and funny.

I discovered this little book several years ago while teaching beverage operation at a community college. Written by a professional known mostly by other professionals (he was U.S. representative of the Revue du Vin de France in Paris) it is a pocket book that is not only concise but amazingly thorough, useful for the expert who can't remember the total acreage of Romanée-Conti and the neophyte wanting to know what Trockenbeerenauslese means.

I had this book in my library before, and it is very helpful in the search for great wines and the information about them.

I was assigned this text in a college music theory course. Programmed lessons are the best way to learn a difficult subject like music theory. This book is wonderful, and it has made all the difference in my musical career.

This book is a great combonation of photography and poetry. The author\photographer has a great eye and sense of color and light.

Frank "Trey" Palmisano is to be commended on a first book that breaks the young-poet's-first-book mold. It doesn't whine; it's not Confessional; it's deeply intelligent. That Palmisano's background is in philosophy as well as literature is evident. That he adores words for the sheer sensuous pleasure of their "mouth," their "hand," to borrow words from the food and garment trades, is also evident. It'll be interesting to see where he goes from here. One hopes that he'll lose the self-deprecation that led him to this book's title (though in fact my own copy resides, along with many another "great book," in my own personal, private,cermanic-tiled library-that-locks.
