The whole thing is really well done. It's bound so that you can remove and re-add pages if you want. Some pages flip out. The back contains a set of pictures of many of the pieces as they were originally written or transcribed.
This is a hidden gem of a book.
I enjoyed his lively portrayal of modern history given in item 66: "What fine people we are until we consider what our history has been. Take the 20th century, another century of devastation."
Comments by D. Moore, Roman Historian
Due to the method in which the book is laid out and the numerical accounting of phrases, one can easily annotate ideas in which he or she may wish to use or revisit in those moments of question. The book contains a wealth of knowledge for centering situations to be viewed in their true essence. On numerous occasions the book gives one the comfort of knowing that he or she is not alone in many conflicting situations and that much of what confronts us today is but a daily dose of history. I would definitely recommend the reviewing of this book by students, scholars, and business professionals.

Pro
. Great amount of financial knowledge covered (asset allocation, risk analysis, etc)
. Easy to understand (practical examples present)
. Do not need to spend too much time on it, everything was concisely written (only 250+ pages)
. CHEAP comparing to other financial books
Con,
. Though ideas were clearly crossed inside the book, but some parts are poorly written.(Not a big deal, but still)
Conclusion: a MUST BUY for those entry level or intermediate level investors who want to learn modern portfolio theories in a relative short period of time.

On the plus side: Many original, and beautiful, concept sketches and artwork, both by Tim Burton and other conceptual artists; the complete lyrics to all of Danny Elfman's score, a very facsinating look at the actual production (creation of sets, puppets, mechanics behind stop-motion) of TNBC.
On the negative side: Nothing to speak of. A nice touch would've been the inclusion of Burton's original poem (now woefully out of print), but ah well.
Highly recommended!

Protagonist and Objective, Conflict, Obstacles, Premise and Opening, Main tension, Culmination and Resolution, Theme, Unity, Exposition, Characterization, Development of the History, Dramatic Irony, Preparation and Aftermath, Planting and Payoff, Plausibility, Action and Activity, Dialogue, Visuals, Dramatic Scenes.
My conclusions:
1) The information is clear and concise explaining the essential elements of a script
2) The Analyses Section provides examples in depth
3) The book is cheap
Is a favorite between my 12 books about Writing, you can't go wrong with this bok even if you are a Pro because the analyses of the films provide you a comparative of the central principles of a good movie.
This time, all is NOT well in the Cooper family. Lila and her father part under unhappy terms, and she boards a military plane bound for the U.S. Things go ill, however, when the plane is hijacked and Lila finds herself locked inside a huge steel canister...Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea.
The Cooper men team up with Bad Dave, a local, lovable dude who helps them island-hop in order to rescue Lila before time runs out. Russian terrorists, angry natives (every book has to have them), and the miraculous love of God, all crammed into this cool little novel make it hard to put down. Parents and kids alike will love it!
