Can't pick and choose the facts you use.
I was involved with Rudy and Frank for part of the research for the book. I aranged for Rudy to be bailed out of jail after being arested in Miami as a matter of fact he ended marrying his bondswoman. Funny how much of the "facts" Rudy had me check out that didn't quite add up never made the book. Anyway, Rudy used me as I imagine he used many of the Tyson-King clan and he got left out. Too bad, my heart is broken for him. As far as I'm concerned he deserved what he got. He is a user in my opinion.

World Tour!
What can I say but "Complete devotion to his clients safety." I should know this first hand because Rudy protected me while I was the lead singer of the Grammy award winning Latin group of the year (The Barrio Boyzz.) For those of you that haven't read this book, it is definitely a must! I am currently working on my new Spanglish solo album entitled "Diaries of a Broken Heart," "Diario De Un Corazon Erido," which I am happy to say that the single from the album has been chosen for the soundtrack of the movie, " The Inner Ring." Which should hit the stores early this year on "J" Records. I do this safely knowing that Rudy will be there on my next world tour.

PS For all our fans don't forget to call "J" Records to receive a free copy of my single "I Shall Return," " Y Volvere."

God Bless, and follow all your dreams!

Unbelievable
What a book! I couldn't believe the deceit and fraud committed upon Mike Tyson by his so called "family". No one could have this bird's eye view of the live of Mike Tyson like Rudy, his personal bodyguard for over five years. Some of the evidence Rudy has regarding Tyson's rape case is staggering. I challenge anyone who thinks Mike Tyson is a rapist to read this book. I guarantee you will have doubts regarding his guilt. Rudy does a fantastic job of describing the ins and outs of the bodyguard business, fanatic live of "Iron Mike".

Very decent book
I read and reread, this is very good in presenting concepts and illustrating through examples. Very interesting exercises. I am keeping this book for future reference. It could use some reorgnization of chapters. Seem like authors were not sure what concepts to present in what chapter as all of them were overlayed, perhaps justified in attempting to present the concept in understandble way

Start as a novice, end as an 'expert'
'The difference between profit and loss is the difference between costs and turnover' was a saying of my professor. But this book shows that there are lots of different calculations of those profits and loss. This book learns the reader step by step new ways to calculate the turnover and the costs, budgets, planning and presenting of the figures everyone is waiting for. Thanks to the exercises the basic calculations can be practiced and the cases present a first brief introduction what is going on in the real world, focusing on a special topic, but without removing the students freedom.

Good quick, tasty, but not quite complete healthy meals.
I've cooked for many years, and have probably too large a cookbook collection. This is a great addition. I really like this book. The pantry ideas are good (although you may stock things you normally wouldn't, like canned artichokes in water or tomato paste in a tube...which I'm glad I know of now), the recipes taste good, and they are quickly prepared. Now, 15 minutes? Maybe if you're very organized and your kitchen is set-up perfectly. Mine's not, yet I can still get a meal from raw to the table in 15 to 30 minutes. It's a different way of cooking for me, as I tend to "nurture" my meals, so it's been fun to try a different speed technique. Be warned that most of these are not really whole meals. He is way to light on vegetables, so have some salad or frozen veggies around, or a really fast prep assistant to use raw veggies. I won't use this technique every night, but it's fun to have an extra hour and still enjoy what I've cooked. The only reason I dropped one star is because of the veggie issue. He makes a strong point that these are meals, but I've had to add extra veggies to almost every dish. Easily done, but not quite as advertised. Oh, and what is with the list of ingredients and the recipe on the other side of the page. Not all of them, but enough to be a little frustrating. That said, you'll probably like this.

Tasty food in minutes (but more than fifteen)
Four stars just because it's false advertising to say these meals can be prepared in fifteen minutes--maybe if you are super efficient or spasmodic you can do it, but otherwise, cook at a comfortable pace and you'll produce good food within a half hour or so. The recipes are simple, the results are impressive and the time invested is minimal. That's a pretty great combination for weeknight dinners or when you're entertaining. Although this cookbook is lowfat, I usually end up using a bit more of the fatty igredients (fat=flavor) to taste.

Quick, healthy, and great tasting meals
I'm not much of a cook, but I still want to eat healthy yet tasty meals. I also did not want to spend all day cooking. The book title looked interesting, so I decided to take a look. When I found the recipe for Paella, a favorite of mine, along with a great picture, I was sold on this book.

Paella in 15 minutes? Well, not quite. The first time it took me about 45 minutes of stumbling around trying to read and cook at the same time. It was overcooked, and the kitchen was a mess, but still tasted pretty good. The second time around was much easier, took about 25 minutes, and the Paella tasted great.

To use these recipes, it does take some preparation before the 15 minute clock starts. I set up the ingredients, open the cans, and measure some of the components. I would say this is more of a 20-30 minute cookbook. I've enjoyed most of the recipes - loved the Minestrone - and they are not very complicated to make. I recommend reading carefully the first time through a recipe. They are very tightly arranged, and looking for a saute pan or some ingredient while cooking and the clock is ticking is not a good idea.

Another benefit is that the recipes are measured for four, which is fine since I'm single. For 20-30 minutes of work, I have dinner or lunch set for most of the week. The meals are low calory and low fat, but there is enough there to fill you up.

Quick and healthy meals that taste great. Can't beat that.

Excellent background as well as combat material
Like the title explains, this book offers commentary from various echelons in the German Air Force on the planning and production of fighters and bombers, the deployment and assignments, the policy, the conflicts and the strategic misuse of this vital branch of the military. As well, the author gives a great deal of background on the manufacturers, the competition for the new air speed record, the celebrated pilots who tested the new marvels, the hardships of restricted supply, the motives and explanations of the awarding of production contracts, and many more insights into the German Luftwaffe from its inception, and from the ground up. While a little too technical in naming every formation and an insistence on listing every make and model of plane for every sortie, this book has a lot of valuable information on the German military apparatus, specifically the air arm.

An absorbing account of luftwaffe's triumph and tragedy
Review An absorbing account of Luftwaffe's triumph and tragedy in World War II . The author expatiates on operations of German airforce in different theatres of war -Poland ,Norway ,France and Low countries ,Balkans ,Russia- when Hitlers's conquest was at its height .The principal credit for making "Blitzkrieg' a success must go to Luftwaffe. Its support of ground forces -direct ,indirect -brought the Polish campaign to a swift conclusion .Later it helped the German armour to breach French defences at Sedan on May 13,1940.Allied airforces intervened ,made a desperate attempt to block Guderian's tanks from crossing river Meuse which was repulsed by the Luftwaffe fighters.Once the breakthrough was effected, panzers rattled and rumbled towards the English channel. In the process they outran infantry cover, consequently the Luftwaffe was assigned the task of protecting vulnerable flanks of armoured thrust which it did brilliantly. On May 21-22 ,1941 ,Royal Navy in Cretan waters was exposed to the full fury of German airforce. This led to the first air-sea battle in the history of war .After suffering crippling losses the English fleet had to retreat having paid the penalty of operating without aircover Then it was largely responsible for the triumphant German advance upto the gates of Moscow. The book has exploded a few myths. The strength of German airforce during the beginning of hostilities was grossly exaggerated by Anglo-American historians of the war.During German invasion of Poland, Luftwaffe had at its disposal only 1302 first-line aircraft. Anglo-Saxon media has reviled the German bombing of Warsaw,Rotterdam. The author ,however, has given different interpretation on what caused this bombing,.Both cities were barricaded and bitterly defended. Repeated attempts to make them surrender through negotiations failed The book has a few drawbacks. The section dealing with ' Battle of Britain ' appears outdated. Ever since the publication of group capatain F.W.Winterbotham's book 'Ultra Secret" hitherto accepted history of world war needed re-interpretation . But the author can be absolved of this lapse since he wrote the book at a time when Ultra was still a top secret.Author never had the privilege to know that Luffwaffe ciphers had been broken and its operational orders read by the British intelligence.

Also ignored are developments in the field of electronics .Just as the Battle of Atlantic, technical progress made a deep impact on the fortunes of airwar.Germans had radars like Freya, Wurzburg to detect the approach of Allied bomber formations.British countered by deploying jammers (Mandrel,Carpet) on aircraft accompanying bomber formations helping them to penetrate German airspace, Then there were devices like Liechtenstein SN2.RWR(radar warning receiver) called Naxos, The former was an airborne interception radar, Latter a passive device capable of picking radar emisssions from Allied bombers which were picked up at double the distance at which bombers radars were able to detect German fighters. This gave fighters ample time to plan manoeuvres . Naxos picked up emisssions from H2's radar installed on RAF pathfinder force ( PFF) which were assigned the task of marking targets to be bombed by dropping phosphorous flares.Naxos guided the fighters directly to this aircraft. The second German RWR was Flensburg which received emissions from British airborne radar Monica fitted on to the tail of RAF bombers. Thanks to progress in the field of electronics total destruction of Berlin in the spring of 1944 was averted.

Upon reading the book I had a feeling that HerrBekker wrote it with the intention of extolling the achievments of Luftwaffe. No doubt Germans had superior planes at their disposal. Till the advent of American P-51 Mustang fighters Luftwaffe's FW-190 was the best air superiority fighter. This was amply demonstrated during the dogfights with the British Spitfires in 1941,42,43 above the English channel. Much before the outbreak of war Germans had experimented rocket,turbo-jet powered planes (HE-176,HE-178) However the lead was not exploited and the advantage squandered due to myopia of Luftwaffe General Staff. Reason for the decline of Luftwaffe is not difficult to seek. Being predominantly tactical airforce whose mission was to support the army in its blitz campaigns, it lacked strategic offensive and operational level defensive capabilities. Conceived for short-term campaigns the changing nature of war forced Luftwaffe to embark on number of tasks and its weakness was soon exposed .The belief that Germany had won the war led to curtailment in long-term planning and development. As a result the airforce was saddled with obsolete aircraft. Finally Hitler's insistence on offensive air operation meant that the potentialities of Germany's first operational jet fighter (ME-262) could not be fully exploited.

Perfect !!
Since the end of WW II, it seems that occurred an epidemy of books written about the Luftwaffe, mainly by American / British writers, with bombastic titles like " Rise and Fall of The Luftwaffe", "History of the Luftwaffe"..etc... FOrget all about them. Cajus Bekker's book is the best ever written about the subject and comes from a remarkable neutral point of view, considering the fact the writer is a German. In only one volume, he sets up the reader in the real demands placed upon the Luftwaffe even before the War, and shows the way that the German publicity machine worked over their initial sucesses. HE also describes all kinds of combat squadrons, including bomber, dive-bombers and reccon, without talking only about the fighter pilots, differently from so many books. Great! A War Aviation fan must have this one!!

Book
Hello my literate friends.

I want to tell you something. This is a book of poems and I should not be writing a review for it. It is famous everywhere except here, and we are here. But I will tell you what you should know to buy this book. That is my job. Now that we have that clear.

These poems are beautiful and good. They are also talky, which is a word my friend Mark Halliday uses, which means that they might sometimes seem close to prose. They are called Lunch Poems because that is the idea, poems that you might compose on your lunch break, walking around New York with some change in your pocket, if you are Frank O'Hara. They seem silly sometimes, and they are, but they are not meaningless: they convey a voice which is suitable and believable and honest.

I think you will like this book.

I will tell you a secret: in my copy of this book, City Lights has increased (somehow) the font size, or the kerning or whatever, so that some lines run-over onto the next. In the original version this did not happen. This is a minor detail that I want to tell you about because you deserve to know. City Lights if you are reading this: hello, and, please fix it.

Thank you.

Delicious Addition to Any Bookshelf
Frank O'Hara's _Lunch Poems_ contains a number of greats including the famous poem, "The Day Lady Died." Each verse is infused with spirit and life and peppered with O'Hara's keen sense of urban observation.

What I especially like about this particular edition is its diminuitive size -- great to sneak into any bookbag or briefcase for a quick dose of O'Hara on the morning train ride.

classic work that changed american poetry
I'm only writing the obvious here because I couldn't believe people were giving this book only four stars when they give all kinds of mediocre books five. This book contains the best poem of mid-20th century America--"The Day Lady Died"--and is a quintessential example of New York School poetics. Terrific, fun, funny, exciting, moving poetry.

Love, Death and a choice. As simple as great.
Is it as simple as a princess in love being able to save the life of her beloved? You read it once and it sounds as a tale for kids. You read it twice and you can understand there's a circle that never ends. The lady or the tiger? or What would you choose when the choice is love or death?

Save your money!
At the beginning of this book the author states that Honduras is the only logical choice for living in Central America. He bases his view only on the low cost of living and not the quality of life. Costa Rica is more expensive than Honduras but has better infrastructure and the quality of life. The weather is also superior in Costa Rica.

Very Complete and Precise
This book was very helpful in making our decision to retire to Honduras. It provided us with valuable and insightful information on what to expect and how to go about settling into our new found country.

Excellent Resource
This book is well written and easy to follow. He covers the culture, history, towns/cities, regions, health/medical, laws of residency, etc. In all of my research of living in Honduras this book is the most comprehensive. I especially liked his "Prime Living Choices" where he covers the capitals, the islands, mid size towns, and even small towns. When I go and visit I am including the smaller places. Places I would of never considered before this book.

Can be a lifesaver - if you have the right problem
This is a clear and well thought out book. It covers specific problems at an intermediate level. If the problem that you're having is in the book, a consise answer is given. The problems dealt with a reasonably general, making it useful in many situations. Check this out at the store first to see if it has things you might need. A nice addition to an MFC library.

You can not expect that much from this book
Well, this book is a must-read for those who perform ab initio calculations. If you have enough quantum chemistry background, then this book is a good reference for your electronic structure calculations. However, you can not expect that you can learn HF, MPn, CC, CASSCF, CI, SE, etc., from this book. I think the reason for this book being so popular is because there is lack another one of the same introductory level. This book is not simple enough for a beginner as well as not deep enough for advanced readers. It does not discuss all the topic covered in the book in detail (maybe the capter of basis set is the only exception). This book is also lack of a chaper for calculating thermodynamic properties based on ab initio results. Anyway, this book may fill some gaps of my knowledge on ab initio calculations, but I do not enjoy reading it because it never helps to understand the principle of ab initio. For those who want to learn quantum chemistry/ab initio calc., this is absolutely NOT the one. Levine's quantum chemistry (5th) and modern quantum chemisty are the books written in much better style. For MM, TST/statistical mechanics chapters, which should be removed and leave more space for ab initio, I agree with other reviewers.

A nice book
For a brief, general introduction to Computational Chemistry I prefer Grant & Richards', and for a deeper, detailed description of the whole filed, Leach's. Jensen is mainly oriented towards 'ab initio' methods with a touch of Molecular Mechanics.
This book starts with a short introduction to Molecular Mechanics and Dynamics, and then moves on to 'ab initio' Quantum Chemistry methods, to which it is mainly devoted and where it extends in greater detail. There, it becomes an excellent and deeper introduction to all the methods of Quantum Chemistry, and gets its true value.
Detailed descriptions of the different levels of theory, basis sets, density functional theory, semiempirical methods, relativistic methods, etc... make it an excellent introductory reading. Math coverage is just enough to undertand what is going on and how it will affect the computation, but not enough to help you write or design your own software.
There are lots of examples along the book used to illustrate the points, and an invaluable chapter comparing the different methods, their accuracy and performance and their utility in different calculations. The book carefully avoids tying to specific software packages and keeps examples on a higher level thus maintaining its applicability and generality. This is a good book for those mainly interested in Quantum Methods, wishing to learn about them, how they work and how they are applied in practice, as well as how they are implemented and what this will cost in computability and computer time. The initial chapters on MM and MD are detailed enough to provide a starting link to the methods used for more complex molecular systems.

Worthwhile purchase
Provides an excellent overview of quantum mechanical computational chemistry methods. Discusses semiempirical, wave mechanics and density functional approaches in great detail. Also goes a good job discussing basis sets, optimization methods etc. Unfortunately, much less attention is given to other computational methods such as molecular mechanics. If one desires an overview of the entire compuational chemistry field, I reccommend Molecular Modeling by Leach. If your interests lie primarily in QM methods, this book has a more complete discussion of these methods than Leach's text.

anti PC COMIC
This qulity comic novel which is heavily influenced by Ayn Rand'sATLAS SHRUGGED. Like Rand, Millersees the greatest threat to freedom not in obvious totalitarians but well meaningidealists who are incompetent or paternalistic or both. The fact that the heroes are minorities is irrelevant to the story and only a bigot or a moron would focus on that in discussing this work.

Ahead of it's time...
When I stumbled upon this gem of ultra-cynicism, I thought for a moment that John Carpenter had got his hands on the Miller psyche'. Alas, no. What came out of this reading was such a complete skewering of Bigotry that the backwoods, context-skipping, agenda totting me-me-me creationists would practically bend over backwards to either look the other way or assassinate by character with the dreaded PC word. Wasn't this the dreaded semantics of hypocritical supremacy Miller that was cutting against? By the way, since when were names like FEMINAZI ever "PC".
Watch out for the Anti-Martha's who recommend books about Natural Selection( Darwins Black Box ) that they only heard about from other people who heard it misquoted by the ICR, and then try to bring it up in a review of a UBER-COMIC.
Anyway, this work illustrates how Miller's resurrection,( Sorry, no mythical-inference intended) led to the making of 4, count em'4 Batman movies. Now tell me Burton didn't have this kind of egala-mania in mind with "Batman Returns". Just admit it and give credit where it is due. This one will endure.

Frank Miller's Vision Comes of Age
At last, Frank Miller has given us a comic book for all Americans and a hero who represents the real America. It's strange to think that a medium like action comics, that wastes so much of its energy trying to reinforce the stale values of an America that hasn't existed since the middle of the last century, could be such fertile ground.

It has opened my eyes to the potential of comics to tell stories that have relevance to the modern world, not some lilly-white America that's been dead for decades.

I would have to call this his best, most mature work to date.

Buy it, or else!
