THE EXCELLENCE OF THIS BOOK.
I USED THIS BOOK FOR A CLASS I WAS TAKING AT HOLY NAMES COLLEGE IN OAKLAND, CA. IT IS AN EXCELLENT BOOK FOR TEACHING STUDENTS HOW TO ENJOY READING. THE STRATEGIES USED IN THE BOOK CAN BE USED IN ANY GRADE LEVEL. I TEACH IN A MIDDLE SCHOOL (7-8) AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS BOOK. HOWEVER, THE PRICE, $67.00, IS PROHIBITIVE. THERE IS NO WAY I CAN AFFORD THE PRICE. TOO BAD. I LIKE THE BOOK.

A treasure among books on reading
I was at a workshop in for Guiding Readers and Writers: Grades 2-6, and I found this book. It is amazing! It is very practical. It is very easy to read. It is easy to take ideas from this book and apply them in the classroom the next day. If you are searching for a book on what to do during reading workshop, I suggest you get this book and add it to your collection. You won't be sorry!

Complete, concise and understandable
I am not a law student, but I want to feel secure in the legal aspects of my activities as a real estate investor. This book provides exactly that. It is easy to understand and very well organized. It may be missing a few examples for some complex points, but in general is a great book for anybody who want to really know the ins and outs of real estate law.

Humorus look at how Vermonters see the world and themselves
In America, most people live an urban or suburben life. Then you have Vermonter's, who tend to view the world from a rural perspective. This book is a funny way for outsiders to understand Vermonter's while the Vermonter's poke fun at themselves. As an expatriot Vermonter I can recommend this book as fun reading.

Education...Inspiration...Motivation!
I've read many books on small business startup and entrepreneurial guides to success, but this book is by far the best I've ever read on the subject. Edward K. Frank comes at you from a different angle. He not only shares his business successes but he shares his business failures and tells of how to avoid them. He's been there. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering starting a business as well as anyone who may need a motivational boost to get started. The book can even help those who have failed in small business start again. A truly wonderful book by an incredible man!

Real Physics Teaching Find!
This book gets into the physics of everyday life..."Real Life Problems..." is a great teaching tool for advanced high school or first year university undergraduates. The author, Frank Weichman, brings a unique approach to teaching physics in a fun and interesting way with real-life examples. Weichman also gives a useful primer in science literacy that helps readers decipher policy vs. politics on environmental issues, etc. "Real Life Problems..." is a great resource for teachers and an unusual challenge for students of physics. I recommend it highly!

Clear and concise
This is a book geared towards those questioning Christianity. This is not a book for the "seasoned" Christian, of course; but would definitely benefit those seeking Jesus or wondering just who this Man is. The information within this book is clear and to the point; very easy to read. It is not in a textbook format so the "intimidation factor" is low. It is an easier read than Josh McDowell's books which are more for study and defending the Christian faith. I really liked the fact that the author points out that the only way to God is through Jesus - an imperitive point to inform the seeker! This is a book that would be great to always keep on hand (or several copies) to distribute to those who may challenge our Christianity or to those who are seeking concrete answers. With so many inconsistent & irrational (and false) religions in the world, it comes as no surprise that people are confused about who or what to believe. This book does a fantastic job at clearing up those false doctrines.

Finally some good architecture CD's
I just got the second edition of the Planet Architecture Series and I like it even more then the first one. They improved their interactivity and added some new features like the ipix 3D panoramas. There are interviews with the architects on the CD as well, which i really enjoyed. very interesting!! This is a great addition to my architecture library. I can recommend this to everyone, who has a passion for modern architecture. Two thumbs up!!

The most useful and enjoyable feature of the book by far is the discovery of unknown authors or works whose description intrigues you, and which you then can follow up on by buying the books or checking them out after you read this book. I consider myself a discriminating reader, and I have more than 20 that I circled as must reads!
In short, a sheer delight for all bibliophiles interested in authors and books as well as for any reader searching for a tantalizing read!
