To make this review short and simple if my title doesn't tell it all ...The diary of anne frank is a great story about a little girl along with others who try and decieve hitler's gestapo/ green police by hiding and in the end are found out taken away where later they all,expect one Anne's father die. From this amazing girl,her diary and her father, Otto we are able to read the story and learn about a girl and others who have a diffcult time surviving World War two as well as each other.

Sometime last year I found Dr. Bahr's book in a friend's used book store. I'm an acutherapist who has worked mainly for children with neurological damage; it worked for them. Since I'm focused on that application of acutherapy, it was wonderful to find a book with a plan to solve one of my problems.

Over the past year or so, I have lost 30 pounds after starting just with the acupressure, and not the diet. Now I'm using also the 300 calorie diet plan, but not every day, and beginning to lose more weight (I have lots to lose!). I know I need to eat more vegetables, and the 300 calorie diet plan has helped me to start in that direction, as well.

A friend emailed me asking for information about the plan, so I looked up the book in Amazon and found it is out of print. How unfortunate for those who need to lose weight in a sane and safe manner, that does not take an enornous effort of the will.

By stimulating the acupressure points indicated in Dr. Bahr's plan, one! not only facilitates the losing of excess pounds, one benefits one's whole well-being.

Somebody put it back in print, please!!

The original may be a little dated but this book besides giving you a full dictionary of statistics terms- ideal for students beginning studying statistics- it also gves a guide with the most used and usefull formulas. Well written and with the tables you always need. Ideal for teh first year student but a usefull helper for those who are finishing their studies.

The aproach to modeling and the clear, sistematic but rich and rigourous presentation by Weir and Giordano is magnific. You work through all Differential equations, but all the time learning on how to use them as modeling tools of reallity. It has also a solutions manual.

- This Book is Unreal .. it takes you through a complete review of the digestive system ... First it talk about the Emberyology development of the GI tract through a great text & drawings of Dr.Frank Netter , Then it start describing the anatomy of the GI tract through a separate chapter ... then it start talking about the Diseases of the GI system .. the Texts are great & the Drawings are so realistic with many X-rays pictures showing you how theses drawings are seen in reality .

- I'm studying Surgery .. & i find this book is very helpful for people studying Surgery .. most of my professors have the Whole collection .. It's like an Atlas for Surgery .. NOT anatomy Alone

Bruce Lindsey is now the head of Architecture at the distinguished, Auburn University. He is a very intelligent and cognitive person, and really has done a great job presenting the facts about Gehry. I recomend this book to anyone who has the slightest inclination towards the designs of Frank Gehry, because it is a very imformative and interesting journey into the world of digital design.

This book looks beyond the conventional ink on paper and explores many other technologies that fit into the category of "New Media." The book flows well and is an excellent guide to what the future may bring.

From the title alone you would think that the book is simply for the new communications advancing around the world, however the first few chapters provide the reader with almost everything to get started in microwaves and satellite TV in general.

Cleverly taking the best from his previous publications, Frank Baylin has reworked the scripts and added valuable contributions from those in the industry, bringing what would have been just another everyday guide, into a comprehensive encyclopedia of yesterdays and tomorrows technology.

For those just starting, those that wish to continue to make a living from TV in the New Age, or those that simply want to have a fall back book with formulae and hints, this book is the one to have.

As its now late 2001, - four years since the first edition release - in what is the fastest changing industry on the planet, the way Digital Satellite TV has been put together shows that common sense and a good knowledge of 'old school' practicalities are still the best foundations on which to build on.

This book is a lot of fun to read teaches well and you should buy it becuase my grandfather wrote it and he's a mathematical genius.
