An excellent overview of the Shoshone People.
This is part of a series of short books on Native Americans of North America. It contains good information on the ways of life of the Shoshone people. It covers their history from their lives before the immigrants ("White man") arrived, and what became of them afterward, including a section on Sacajawea. It covers some of their myths and spiritual beliefs as well as the type of territory they covered and how they survived from day to day. It contains black and white photos, drawings, paintings, and a few color plates. This is a good learning tool for anyone interested in the Shoshone, from grade school on up to adult.

Perhaps the only book of its kind
It's a shame this book is out of print, because I haven't found any other book like it. A great exposition of signal fundamentals, and how to apply functional analysis to signal problems.

KIWI RULES, BABY!
Fans of Graham Greene, A.A. Milne and Boscoe Stein will enjoy this fantastic saga about a young kiwi and his friend who start a literary journal. Spanning the globe -- Hungary, Amsterdam, New Jersey, California, Meat Cove -- the two take on fabulous villains (the insidious Gabe-Ree L. E. Dell, from the Planet of New Orleans, and the evil Beauty Sucker, the dark force sucking all the beauty from the world) in their search for the forbidden generators, where, it is rumoured, they will find the Most Important Poem in the Universe. Splattered with Orange Crush, fortified with JELLO, our splendiferous heroes dance the Jig of Life on the grave of the Unknown CEO -- but can they survive an encounter with the fallen Astrakhan Knight, Dayv Obe Ryan?

FANTASTIC!
I LOVE this book. It is great fun to see the Sinatras' and other celebrities' favorite dishes, especially the little explanatory anecdotes that precede many of them.

I have only tried one recipe so far (Pat Boone's Grammy's Chili Mac) -- but that, alone, was well worth the entire price of the book. (After tasting it, I readily understand why Clark Gable loved it so much.)

Right now, I'm ordering three copies to send as gifts.

SINATRA FANS THIS IS A MUST!
I LOVE this book. It's a collectors item no doubt. Pics of Frank that you've never seen before. Classics with Frank and Jackie Gleason and Sammy Davis jr. Frank at his house, on the massage table, in private places never seen. You can tell he wasn't posing for these pics. All naturally which is why it is so unique. And the texts keeps you wanting to roll thru the book without putting it down. What a life he had! What a book this is!!
