Cover-Up of the Century: Satanic Ritual Crime & World Conspiracy

Excellent research and documents on SRA
You would expect than a bold factbook on Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) like this has dozens of reviews by satanic apologetics. SRA is a proven fact, and Daniel Ryder did an excellent and outstanding job researching and documenting the facts. Definitely a must read for all interested in the hidden agenda of mental programmers behind the scenes.

Book Review: Cover Up Of The Century
Every once in a great while, a book comes out that is a standout in its field. One that is well written, that teaches, educates, and leaves the reader thinking for days afterwards about its subject. One that challenges the reader to overcome biases and misconceptions. And recently, such a book was published.

The book? "Cover up of the Century: Satanic Ritual Crime and World Conspiracy" by Daniel Ryder. If you don't have a copy yet, I suggest you go to your local bookstore, or Amazon.com online, and get one. This is one of the better researched and documented books on the topic of ritual abuse that I have seen.

Ryder has a background in investigative journalism, and it shows. Piece by piece, he discusses the evidence available that shows the reality of ritual abuse, and builds his case throughout the book. In fact, I would challenge anyone with an objective mind to read this book, and be able to deny the overwhelming evidence presented that: a) ritual abuse is real b) recovered memories are real, and are documented to be reliable c) there has been a large amount of cover-up of the evidence available in high profile cases such as the Franklin case in Omaha, Nebraska. d) There is firm evidence of mind control techniques, organization and planning in occult groups

Mr. Ryder meticulously documents the evidence with research and in-depth interviews throughout his book. From government officials to police investigators, survivors of occult ceremonies to concerned parents, psychologists to lawyers, his extensive research and fact finding combine in this book to draw a compelling picture: ritual abuse is real, it is happening, and it is organized. He refutes statements by Lanning of the FBI that ritual abuse has no evidence with literal archives of cases of ritual abuse that have gone to court and been successfully prosecuted. I love the first chapter which asks "Where's the Proof?" then proceeds to answer the question. Studies are quoted, officials discussed and documented cases of ritual crime are given.

Ryder's background research on some of the leading members of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation (FMSF) is a thought-provoking chapter, as the "syndrome" is exposed as having no reality according to clinical experts in the field. Also, the less than savory background of some of the founding members and "experts" recruited by the FMSF are revealed.

I believe this book should be recommended reading for anyone who thoughtfully asks the question "If ritual abuse is real, where is the evidence?" The evidence is there, the experts are speaking out, and court cases prove that RA is a real phenomenon. I am grateful that Mr. Ryder took the time to interview and research this topic, and share what he found with the general public.

Very informative, interesting, and great research.
This book is quite incredible. The author is very couragious to write the facts and not give it with sugar. The contents were enlightning and valuable in information reguarding satanic ritual abuse and exposing the lies and cover-ups by the cults, government and some who are in financial power. Pretty amazing. He's so up front with the information, some of it was difficult to read. One needs to digest it slowly, yet it's impossible to put it down.

A must have book for anyone suffering from these diseases
Six months ago I was faced with the reality that I had Crohn's Disease. At that point I wanted to get my hands on as much reading material as I could on the subject (because when you are sick about all you can do is sit and read anyway). Out of all the books I have read on the subject I can honestly say that this book is one of the best overall books on the subject.

This book is devided in three major sections. The first part is about The Nature of the disease. In this section the book discusses basic definitions, who gets the diseases, what causes them, how it is diagnosed, and systemic manifestations.

The next section is about Treating the Diseases. This section covers medications and their side effects, nutritional complications, surgery, and the threat of cancer.

The last section covers Living with the Diseases. This talks about diseases in children, pregnancy, older people, emotions, hospitalization, life insurance and medical insurance, what to do if you become disabled.

I recommend this book for anyone who suffers with either of these diseases. This book is a fantastic handbook/reference book for people who are sick with these illnesses. It has helped me unterstand my Crohn's disease better then I ever thought possible. I wish you all the best!!

If you have IBD you need this book.
It used to be that this was the only 'laypersons' book out there for people suffering from IBD. Newly diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 10 years ago, I found this book to be enlightening and informative. It helped me to get a handle on things when I felt my life spiraling out of control due to a disease I had never even heard of before. Today those suffering from ulcerative colitis and Chrohn's Disease have more reading material at their disposal, but this book remains as the staple for any person suffering from IBD. It can also serve as an invaluable resource to friends and family of IBD survivors who also feel confused and helpless. Anyone who has ever taken prednisone for IBD knows the symptoms and treatments for these diseases can make articulate and unemotional explanations almost impossible to formulate. Handing over a copy of this to your siblings, parents, spouse, or even your roommate is the best thing you can do for them, and for yourself.

Perfect book for those just "newly" diagnosed.
I found this book was a god send for me when I was newly diagnosed 10 years ago. I was feeling incredibly confused & overwhelmed with many, many questions I needed answered. It was very well organized & comprehendable to the average person dealing with these diseases. I highly recomment it to those who feel that the answers that they got from their Physicians were.t quite enough. It is also great for family members.

Why aren't we encouraging our schools to teach ASL?
I have just finished reading this book and I cannot wait to get it into the hands of my kid's teachers (and administrators). I am currently learning sign and so are my kids. Although none of my children are ADD or ADHD I know that some of their classmates are. The book suggests that sign encourages a healthier classroom environment as all the children are ACTIVELY participating in the learning process. The ADD/ADHD kids are actually calmer and all students are learning more. (Less wear and tear on the teachers!) By learning ASL we are also encouraging communication with the Deaf. The Deaf cannot hear, so why do we exclude them and expect them to learn our language? We have the opportunity to begin to change the world our children live in, one sign at a time. That is something to think about.

A really great book on WHY sign language is for ALL kids...
I started using sign language while teaching kindergarten years ago just for fun. The kids loved it. Now I know why! This book is great for teachers and parents. If you have a young child having trouble with spoken or written English, GET THIS BOOK! Also get it just for fun, to learn with a best friend, to communicate with someone who is deaf, to enrich your knowledge of human iconography, symbolism and to learn about the history of language. A great book, easy to read, perfect amount of detail, lots of references. (This book is for adults - and includes lots of ideas to use with kids...)

All Children Should Be Exposed To Sign
Dr. Marilyn Daniels has written an exceptional book which should be read by parents/guardians of young children, want-to-be parents, day care providers, and teachers of the young. As the foremost researcher on Sign's benefits for hearing kids, not only does she write about her own research, but the research others have done with Sign and hearing kids too. The book's title seems somewhat limiting, because it also mentions the many other benefits Sign has been found to have for hearing kids - even if they never use it with the deaf. Daniels also points out that parents and teachers who teach kids Sign often feel they, the parents and teachers, benefit too. And the book has a chapter on how teachers can easily learn Sign to teach their students, and a chapter on how parents can easily learn Sign to teach it to their kids.

WOW
When I first saw this book on the shelf I laughed! Another 'idiot' type book was my first thought. Then I picked it up and flipped through it - ok, so it had some good diagrams etc. I decided why not - I have heard/read what different experts have said in their books and quite frankly for the average person their explanations were more confusing than the original book of Daniel. This book compiles all the experts views of prophesy with little insets of exact quotes, shows clearly any disagreements by bible scholars on interpretations and includes all the fasinating historical material related to this time in history. Easy to read! Easy to understand! And if you want to study more in depth it has given you dozen of resources to consider. You may not want to though -- it is all here, you can set it down and actually picture it and feel it.

Astonishing!
I can't believe how well the Bibically-Inept books are done. As a 20 year old formerly agnostic man, these books have affected my life in a way I would never have expected. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next installment, the Bible for the Bibically-Inept. I only hope that Larry Richards can maintain Mr. Duck's outstanding pace. Once again, the design of this book is amazing. What a peice of work!

Makes learning the Bible so easy . . . and fun!
This book series is so easy to read and the excellent design uses reference icons to help the reader navigate the thorough material.

I can hardly wait for the next book in the series! Great writing, terrific design, learning the Bible is fun again!

Again,Fr. Daniel Berrigan shakes the foundations
In DANIEL,Fr. Daniel Berrigan, priest, poet, prophet takes on that strange book of the Biblical prophet Daniel. As in his earlier works,Isiah,Ezekiel and after this in Jeremiah,Berrigan seamlessly[well, most of the time]relates modern day society with the doomed cultures of which the prophets spoke.Daniel Berrigan has been, for some,a pain in the neck,a,burr, for others, as a previous reviewer wrote, the sanest man of the 20th century. What struck me in this book is how GROUNDED Berrigan is in the scriptures, unlike many catholics of his or any generation.Poetically, Daniel Berrigan once more shows how these ancient, musty texts are alive, not simply relevant but breathing. If he is not the sanest man of the 20th century,he's damn close.

Wisdom of the Sanest Human Being of the Twentieth Century
While serving the Catonsville (Maryland) Presbyterian Church in the early 1980s, I often would make lunchtime pilgrimages (three blocks!) to the Knights of Columbus building where Daniel Berrigan and eight others poured napalm and blood on draft files more than a decade earlier to protest America's involvement in the Viet Nam war. Always I sensed myself to be standing on holy ground, for, despite the lapse of years, the asphalt still contained the imprimatur of gospel proclamation.

Daniel Berrigan is a poet, prophet, and priest. Sometimes he is more poet than priest, other times more prophet than poet, still others more priest than prophet. But, oh, how these vocations all are mixed in him so that, in my estimation, Berrigan was the sanest person of the twentieth century.

In these twilight years of his life, Berrigan has written a progression of books about the major prophets of the First (Old) Testament. He is harvesting a lifetime of dogged fidelity to the gospel of Jesus Christ and these books ("Daniel: Under the Siege of the Divine;" "Isaiah: Spirit of Courage, Gift of Tears;" "Ezekiel: Vision in the Dust;" and "Jeremiah: The World, the Wound of God") bear and share the fruit of his radical obedience. Ostensibly about the biblical prophets of long ago, these books are as up-to-date as this morning's sports page. Taken together, they are a clarion call to people of faith and conscience not to be seduced by the spirit of the age nor to acquiesce to the principalities and powers of the "empire."

"Daniel: Under the Siege of the Divine" is really a book about "seeing"- seeing deeply, seeing truly, seeing beyond the appearances of things to the truth of things. Not only is scripture's vision of "the new heaven and new earth" in which peace will reign and "all manner of things shall be well" championed by Berrigan in this book; we are given "prolonged glimpses" of the paths we must walk in order to "get there from here."

What Berrigan proposes out of his spiritual encounter with the biblical Daniel is "dangerous faith"- dangerous to the empire because it subverts the present arrangement of things in which the powers-that-be are so heavily invested and to which they want so desperately to cling, and dangerous to those who seek to speak truth to those powers because the empire is not in the least bit loathe to strike back.

"Daniel" is Daniel at his best. Herein, Berrigan eloquently and passionately demonstrates that the first step in saying "yes" to life is saying "no" to death in all of its multi-faceted and seductive forms, no matter what the cost.

To me, the power of the gospel is that, in Jesus, it was lived. That gives me hope that I, also, however imperfectly, can move out of the house of fear and into the house of love. Berrigan is our contemporary guide.

The Prophet Daniel's voice still rings in our time.
For thirty years, Daniel Berrigan has spoken truth to power, and in the process has paid the price of scorn and jail. In our day, when our social ethic is as unsteady as jello, when the mantra of our morality is "it depends," who better to remind us of some powerful, prophetic truths than this modern "Daniel?" Berrigan translates the word of his namesake into a poetry sweet enough for even the M-TV generation to understand. The message that justice and love are our tickets to peace is just as true now as in "Daniel's" time. This book should be required reading for anyone who believes that the truth of nonviolence is still true.

ESTATE PLANNING ADVICE AT ITS BEST
Dan shares with his readers the same 7 step program that he has used to position many of our clients to potentially save millions of dollars that might have been lost to Federal estate, income and capital gains taxes. His uncanny ability to put estate planning into understandable terms makes this book, and his plan, clear, concise and extremely compelling.

TAKE HIS ADVICE: DON'T DIE UNTIL YOU READ THIS!
Dan Nigito showed me how I could protect my life's work from tax devastation for my children, multiply it without tax for my grandchildren, while avoiding capital gains taxes and picking up a tax deduction for Betty and myself! The Family Foundation we created will keep our philanthropic legacy alive long after we're gone. And we did it all with money we would have lost to taxes anyway! Take his advice and Don't Die Until You Read This!

UNDERSTANDABLE APPROACH TO ESTATE PLANNING
"Dan Nigito has a very entertaining style, which combines dry wit with real life examples. In the years I've known him, I've come to respect how clearly he can explain a complex subject. His sense of humor and step-by-step action plan make this book a joy to read." John J. Shaw, President of the NFL World Champion St. Louis Rams

Excellent resource for OD, HR and all managers
This is one of my all-time favorite management/OD books. I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in learning how to improve manager-employee relationships, trust, and communication in organizations. I think it should be on the bookshelf of every Organization Development specialist, Human Resource manager, executive coach, and leadership trainer. It contains useful, thoughtful, and often unique advice for managers, team members, trainers, and anyone else interested in reducing the climate of fear in their workplace. Some of the ideas translate well to personal and family relationships too.

Fear is extremely damaging to organizations. It can harm trust, communication, quality, knowledge sharing, cooperation, innovation, retention, and overall organization effectiveness. Whether you are interested in improving morale, communication, and performance company-wide, or you just need to improve your relationship with one person, you'll find something useful here. This is not just the same old recycled advice you'll see in leadership books. Some of the ideas will be familiar to experienced people in the field, but the authors expand them and put them into a new perspective based on their work. They contribute many new ideas and examples that you won't find elsewhere.

Portions of the book are particularly helpful for well-intentioned managers who just don't understand why people don't fully trust them. If you're not getting the level of communication, ideas, and candor needed to bring your organization to the next level, fear may be the problem. If you hear a manager say, "I don't know why they didn't tell me sooner," give him or her this book. Most of us don't realize all the little things we do to discourage good communication.

My favorite concepts in this book include the cycle of mistrust and undiscussables. The cycle of mistrust provides a great understanding of how our perceptions and assumptions influence the behavior of other people. It's a great model for leadership, teambuilding and communication workshops. You'll be sure to recognize a few "undiscussables" in your own workplace. An undiscussable might be a sensitive issue that employees whisper about to one another, but not with those who might have the power to do something about it. It's just too risky to speak up. Management might not learn about it until they experience the shock of scathing comments in an anonymous employee survey, or they hear about it from someone in another company! You can prevent this from happening by driving fear out of the workplace and by creating an environment that makes it easier for people to speak up in the first place.

A vision for high-trust and high performance organization
"Our work on this topic has been inspired primarily by personal consulting experiences over many years...Ten years ago, these experiences confirmed the teachings of W.Edwards Deming and others involved with continuous quality improvement. Deming asserted in his fourteen obligations of managment that quality was impossible where people are afraid to tell the truth...Besides Dming, other voices strongly reinforce the need to understand the dynamics and effects of fear. Chris Argyris's extensive body of work clarifies how invisible and self-reinforcing miscommunication due to fear can be. Peter Senge's explorations of systems thinking illuminate its far-reaching effects. Both of these thinkers underscore the need to understand the negative assumptions about people that keep fear in place. Peter Block's works on empowerment and stewardship demand a wholesale rethinking of the concepts of management and leadership as a way to escape thses destructive beliefs. Most recently, Thomas Stewart's examination of the rapidly emerging value of intellectual capital demands that even more attention be paid to reducing fear and building trust" (from the Preface).

In this context, Kathleen D.Ryan and Daniel K.Oestreich, with the following core questions, illustrate some important elements of the trust-fear continuum. They say that if your answers to these questions are all 'yes,' your workplace is clearly fear-based:

* Do a high proportion of people in your organization frequently hesitate to speak up about certain issues?

* Does a fear of speaking up exist at many levels in your organization?

* Are people in your workplace associating managers and supervisors with th presence of fear?

* Are leaders in your organization exhibiting behavior that causes employees to be afraid?

* Are people reacting with strong emotions to a perceived environment of fear?

* Is fear having an impact on work and how it is getting done?

Thus, by describing the following 'core behaviors,' they define the vision of a high-trust workplace: *mutual helpfulness and understanding, *serving as a reality check for one another, *providing feedback for one another, on strengths as well as areas that need improvement, *influencing each other's ideas and decisions; willingness to be influenced, *humor; enjoyment of each other's company, *creative, synergistic problem solving where the results are greater than the sum of the parts, *respect for different backgrounds and talents; reliance on one another's expertise to ensure the best results, *willingness and ability to work through conflicts and disagreements, *common commitment to the same goal; commitment to one another's success, *a high level of rapport and honesty with one another, *straightforward communication.

They argue that the vision of a high-trust workplace can draw people naturally away from the cycle of fear and mistrust toward a new set of possibilities for better workplace relationships, and hence high-performance organization.

Highly recommended.

Making the quantum leap from fear to trust.
A culture of fear permeates many organizations, draining them of their potential and vitality. Based on their interview findings, the authors examine how fear is a major obstacle to open communication and organizational effectiveness. The book also addresses fear during times of rapid change. In this work you will find strategies for building a high-trust work environment. The book is loaded with good, practical guidance for managers. From fear to trust is a quantum leap; this book can help you take that enlightening jump.

Recommended for motivated political citizens
Now in a newly updated and expanded second edition, Electronic Democracy: Using The Internet To Transform American Politics by Graeme Browning (Editorial Director, Internet Policy Institute and Associate Editor for "Federal Computer Week", a key publication for technology news in the federal government) is a fascinating, authoritative, and informative guide to politics on the Internet. The issues and topics covered range from using the World Wide Web for grassroots organization to making one's email to Congress count, to the history and future of online voting and polling, to online campaign resources and projections for the future. Electronic Democracy is a compelling and very highly recommended read for motivated political citizens who want to better understand the profound impacts that the technology of today and tomorrow has upon our nation's government of, by, and for the people!

It's Informative, Gripping, Thought-Provoking, Motivating!
The Internet has taken on many important roles in recent years as a powerful communications and information medium. Apart from online marketing of businesses, perhaps no other part of our lives has been more influenced by the Internet than that of discussing politics and spiritual matters and making our particular points of view seen and heard by others.

Electronic Democracy (2nd Edition, 2002) written by Graeme Browning offers readers amazing insight of the powerful role that the Internet has played in transforming American politics. At no other time in American history have so many people been able to discuss issues that matter to them the most and actually been able to do something about changing the course of the American political landscape.

Throughout the book readers are presented with actual events - names, dates, places, and circumstances that led other people to take action. Readers will learn about political parties, special interest groups, and common everyday folks who took action to express their points of view and to seek change. The book describes in vivid detail the roles that numerous Websites, discussion groups, and e-mail campaigns had in electing politicians, removing certain politicians from office, changing laws, and affecting other matters of public policy.

The book serves as an excellent guide for becoming politically active in the American political scene - or for that matter, in any country around the world. Readers will learn how to mount their own grassroots campaigns - right from home. They will learn how to organize campaigns, raise funds, present issues, contact people, influence legislation, and to get the word out about their own particular causes - responsibly. They will also learn about the dark side of online activism - the abuses that have taken place to disrupt American culture. As they will read, dirty tricks are still very much a part of politics.

This is one book I couldn't put down easily. It's highly informative, gripping, thought-provoking, and will surely motivate people of all backgrounds and persuasions to become more involved in shaping the direction America will head in. It's must reading for anyone desiring to become an agent of change in American society. This book will help you get started today!

Best on the Subject
Browning's book should be the first stop for on-line activists. There are so many authors out there proclaiming the internet to be the salvation of democracy that Browning is a voice of moderation. I would recommend this book as your starting point for internet activism.
