An execelent overview of object oriented languages. It includes a large section on actor-based languages which is a difficult subject to find information on.

This was an excellent book especially how it gave you codes that was useful in other areas. This book was used as a reference for me in my Data Structures' class. The book that my professor used never explained itself. With this book I was able to understand the codes and was able to interpret it.

The mastermind of Sir Isaac Newton yields results just as brilliant when studying Bible prophecy as when he turned his attention to the physical universe! There is in this book a consistency of interpretation in all the details of the prophecies of Daniel and of Revelation that I have not seen in any of the works of modern-day scholars. Isaac Newton seems to be completely true to the message of the Bible when providing his own thoughts on the Antichrist, the Beast, the Woman called "Babylon", and the "Great Tribulation". The integrity of Newton's scholarship and skills of exegesis give the reader a distinct impression that, unlike most writers on end-times prophecy today, when faced with a detail of interpretation that conflicted with his existing views, Newton would have gladly given up his prejudices in exchange for something better: the Truth. He presents an excellent example--perhaps the best I have read--of what is known as Premillennial Historicism. This is essentially the same view held by H. Grattan Guinness, E.B. Elliott, Matthew Henry, and Charles Spurgeon. In my opinion every pastor or teacher who preaches or teaches on the subject of the Last Things should have a copy of "Observations..." on his or her desk.

Cohn-Bendit used to be great. This is also the best chronological account of the May events next to The Beginning of the End: Paris '68. Very much suggested despite Cohn-Bendit's turn today.

As an OTR, you really need wonderful resources handy at all times. I first became aware of this resource as a student, amidst whispers of the "greatest OT book around."

This one really lives up to its reputation plus much more! As a professional, you will never find yourself wanting for resources again! There are eval examples, treatment approaches, documentation, and so many more examples, coupled with the finest OT bibliography in print!

You cannot afford NOT to own this one!

If you missed B.J. Daniels first book, it is coming back out in May 2002 as part of Harlequin/Silhouette's newest reprint continuity entitled Dangerous to Love USA. This book received 4 1/2 stars from Romantic Times and was nominated for Best Intrigue in 1995 and Best First Book.

I heard this serialised on bbc radio 4 about 10 years ago.It was a funny and moving account of a man's relationship with his father. I'd love to read it myself - pity it's out of print.

It is difficult for me to be impartial about this book as I am a descendant nephew of John Daniel. The book is alive as you can see the copies of the actual letters accompanied by the "translation". I was enthralled by this book - following John step-by-step through the campaigns and then to find out that he was killed in the battle of Atlanta. His final letter is reminiscent of a Hollywood war film - surprising for a man with his background. I was stunned and excited to find out that his grave is only an hour from my home. Great story about my Great-Great Uncle.

This is a rare "un-filtered" story about the Civil War.

this is a wonderful book. my children are 10 and 12 and this book was one of their favorites when they were younger, and it still is one of mine. i was searching for it to purchase for friends of mine with 2 year olds and i was stunned to find it out of print. it is a quirky classic. the review in horn books calls the illustrations sub standard and the text flawed...so much for critics' opinions. i found the illustrations beautiful and the text ingenious and engaging.
