What a delightful book! My toddler can easily understand the importance of prayer as emphasized in this Bible story. Darling pictures.

For people who want to understand the story of Jesus, but don't have the time to read the Bible, this is a wonderful start. Daniel Partner gets to the bottom of the teachings of Jesus to the people and his disciples. I wasn't able to put this book down. The author puts the biblical accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke,, and John, into one complete, chronological rendering of His story and teachings. It is a easy read and well worth your time and money. It help me to better understand His words and is a wonderful tool to understanding the bible.

This book tells the fascinating story of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Darling children and their adventures in Never-Never-Never Land. They fight with pirates and enjoy their freedom. Some of the original illustrations by Alice B. Woodward are included here as well as modern plates. A nice book especially for young readers

Daniel Sendecki's poetry collection traces his travels through the East, from China to India with lots of stops and 'Strange Currencies' to deal with on the way. I love the title and its reference to funny money, as well as the values we place on things, how we spend our time and our lives, and how others spend theirs.
The layout is superb. Sendecki starts each poem with a photograph of the place and the coins he found there. Then, there are the words. In Six Exposures,he takes word snapshots: "6/ In Siem Reap a girl gets married/ and she is so afraid and sad that she gets/ up on the back of a water buffalo and cries." This is beautiful stuff.

Police officers need to read this book and to be aware of all stressors on the job. Police stress is a killer. The more the officer knows the better the chances of dealing with stress effectively. I recommend it.

Schodek is an excellent writer, teacher and researcher and his book gives a valuable set of warnings to readers about safety in construction of almost everything! His teaching prowess comes through in his well written and beautifully illustrated book and it made me want to go back to school even though 51 years have passed since my last college class. Of particular interest to me was Schodek's accurate coverage of the 1959 proof load test on the 99 1/2 foot tallest tower of the Simon Rodia Watts Towers in Los Angeles. He uses this test on what is now a National Historic Landmark, on pages 38 and 200 - 204 as an example of a good method to demonstrate the safety of a very large outdoor sculpture. Since I had personally designed and conducted that test as a volunteer forty years ago, I was pleased that the book was 'right on' the truth on all the details. Structure in Sculpture is a great addition to my library and proved once more the importance of good books! . This solutions manual contains every odd excercise from the text. It gives great step by step solutions, even showing how to simplify the answers. Calculus can be confusing to even the brightest students, and this manual will not only insure that you get your homework complete, but also that you LEARN the material-which is the point of class last time I checked.

I recommend all serious Christian apologetics read the works of Robert Dick Wilson. Still, I am one book short. Can anyone help me find Wilson's "Proofs of the Bible (Manuscripts)". Thank you. Bill Perry

I used this study guide and received a 3.9 out of 4.0 in this class. This is a great study guide and I would recommend getting one as it will definitely improve your grades in a very important class.
