Absolutely Delightful Short Stories!
B. Traven, in a series of short stories captures the mind and soul of rural Mexico in days likely gone forever. Each story, beginning with that of the Kidnapped Saint, draws on the moral and social code of these people in ways that draw you in wanting more. Also, Traven shows a great sense of humor in the description of the characters and events. A joy to read.

A very wonderful book
King Arthur is an awesome book! I thought it explains very well what is happening at the time. It tells sentences like the knight in glisting shinning armor stood on top of the mountain by the lists with the mountain breeze. The book takes place in the knight age. Its about King Arthur and his knights of the round table. King Arthur is on many quests to save princess and take over castles . King Arthur isn't the only thing its about, its also about other famous knights like Lancelot or Gallaherd they were famous to. So the rating I would give this book is 5 stars.

One of the finest one-volume Arthur's ever
I remember finding this book because of the illustrations. Rien van Poortvliet, then popular because of his Gnomes books, had illustrated this volume of Arthurian tales. I cannot say enough about it. Here, stripped down to its essentials, is the entire heart, spirit, and soul of the tales, painfully and lovingly told. I remember going through a period of wanting to learn Dutch in order to read it in the original. From Arthur's birth, to the founding of the Round Table, to the search for the Grail, and the final crashing days of despair, this book follows the warp and weft with an unerring honesty and brilliance matched by few writers. If you are looking for a one-volume overview of the legends, look no further. Read this! Oh, and the illustrations are good, too.

Great book.
This book was great, although it didn't tell about the quest for the holy grail. The whole book is full of action.

A+ - Enchanting and enthralling tales of King Arthur
Everything by Jim Weiss is outstanding, but this tape stands out as one of his best. Even though we have listened to it many times, the kids and I enjoy it every time. We all have favorite stories and characters. After we first got the tape, the kids went off on a fairly long binge of acting out the King Arthur stories.

Jim Weiss has the perfect reading manner. His voice is clear, his pacing is superb, his adaptations are very good. We have had a carload of antsy kids for an hour car ride and they are all silent and attentive for the entire tape. We have been known to sit in the car for 5 minutes after we have arrived to hear the end of a story (even ones we've heard before).

I recommend this tape and any tape by Jim Weiss without any qualifications. They are superb for kids and very good for adults. You will not be disappointed.

Great books, great size.
I can tell from my kid's reading enthusiasm that this is a great collection of classics. But best of all, I think it's a great idea to
print the books in small dimensions (15 cm) ---- kids simply can not hold the regular books as conveniently as adults!

I tried those 8.5" x 11" weight-lifting versions of the same-title classics, my kid never read them for more than five minutes.

King Arthur and the Grail Quest is a great book!!
As a student of Arthurian history (fifth and sixth century Britain), I am constantly looking for books about the historical Arthur. Of all the hundreds of authors who write about the subject, John Matthews is my favorite. And in "King Arthur and the Grail Quest," I haven't been let down. The first few chapters are about the historical Arthur, my field of expertise, while later chapters go into the history of the Grail legends, as well as the other bizarre happenings which sorround them, including the Templars, Cathars, Prester John, and more. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the history of King Arthur or the Holy Grail.

Good Version for Children - and Adults too
When I originally purchased this "Junior Classic" - as a gift for my little brother, an Arthur aficianado - I didn't expect to enjoy it much myself. However, the adaptation is well-done, and is not so inane as to make it unbearable to anyone over ten, which is what I expected. I was so pleasantly surprised that I went out and bought myself a copy!

British actor Sean Bean has an incredible range of voices and accents, which he uses impeccably to enrich the characters he reads (though all the narrative is done in his lovely native Yorkshire). Morgana le Fay, Lancelot, Elaine, and, yes, Arthur all come to life as one listens. A very enjoyable audiobook, for bedtime or listening to in the car, or just as a mini-holiday!

King Arthurs Knight Quest (Fantasy Adventure)
Aside from the illustrations, which span the entire page, the best feature of this oversized book is that when it's open it's literally the size of a television screen! This is a plus for the reader because it gives just one more reason to read the book, follow along in the incredible adventure, and let the imagination come alive instead of sitting mindlessly watching television. This book is a hit in our house!
