Excellent work of readable honest poetry
Thomas Lynch is one of the great poets of our time. "Skating with Heather Grace" made me laugh, cry, think about life... and death... and the time in between. Even if you do not like poetry, you will enjoy this book. I have never read a poet more honest and creative than Lynch. Two of my personal favorite poems of the book (I have many) are called "Where it Came From" and "Woman Gardening." This would be an excellent place to start for someone first reading Lynch. It shows how clever he is as well as the great sensitivity he posesses for describing a singular emotional feeling. If at all possible, finish with "Learning Gravity," a brilliant poem (and the longest of the book - most are very short). It's a poem that can only be deeply appreciated when you get to know the author and his style as well as disposition. Don't be upset because he is an undertaker by trade. While that plays heavily in the book it is not the defining aspect of the man and his poems. Very Highly Recommended!!!!!

Great Images
This book has exellent images but it lacks text, "A picture is worth a thousand words" as they say. Although there is lack of text I think there's just enough to give you an idea of what the products are, who the designers and manufacturers are too. So the book acts almost as a catalog. All in all I think it's a great book, it's enjoyable to flip through or it could take you an hour looking at just one product. Oh and just incase you don't know what the book is about it displays different "Skin" conditions (that is different surface materials either conventional or inovative used on a wide range of products including chairs and clothes)
ENJOY :-)

Storyline ....
Since Amazon didn't post an editorial review, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: "Free to love ... When Strome Galbraith appeared at Nairne's cozy bed-and-breakfast, Nairne couldn't miss the aura of unhappiness surrounding him. But as a widow trying to manage a group of troubled teenage boys, she simply didn't have the time to deal with the dark, seductive man and his angry cynicism toward the female population. But she couldn't ignore Strome's presence -- after all, his son was living under her roof. Nor could she ignore the honeyed warmth of Strome's demanding embrace ..."

Social Graces is a good read.
Sixtyish social worker Louisa Daniel's wisdom and unexpected strength make her a sleuth to be reckened with. Her world is populated with appealing and unappealing characters, whose possible motives take the reader on an adventurous course to the final unexpected resolution. Along the way the reader is entertained by an appealing subplot about an "unadoptable baby." This is a book to pick up to read for escape and pleasure.

Clear, Understandable, and Moving
This book is a wonderfully clear, precise, and compassionate look at the grace of God and His love for mankind. Hughes draws the reader into the lives of real people from the New Testament, allowing the reader to experience the grace of God through their eyes. For those who have never heard the message of the Gospel clearly, this is a wonderful source. For those Christians who need a reminder of the greatness of the Lord they serve, again this is the right source. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking a fresh look at the truth, grace, and love of God and His work of redemption through Jesus Christ.

Great "feel good" book for Southerners.
It is truly refreshing to read a book about Southerners by a Southerner who laughs with us not at us. He joins us in laughing at the Yankees!
This is a short and sweet compilation of some of Lewis Grizzard's best newspaper columns. One hundred seventy pages of pure, unreconstructed bliss. It touches on his pet peaves and treasured memories, including food, animals and relatives.
Truly a gem, I read this great little book in one sitting. Rest in peace, Mr. Grizzard. I hope to see you in Dixie Heaven.

I think Dr. Grace deserves a commendation for this well-researched book on "the Moonies."
I recommend this book to anyone who is not looking for sensationalism but the real-er side of the world of the "cults."
