The great thing about this study is that it explores what grace means. By raising awareness of grace in our lives, it helped quell some disputes in our church. The simple discussion of grace and it's application to us by God, followed by our responsible use of grace in our relationships with others, makes this a very effective study. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful, relaxing, feel-good book. Each new page brings a new lesson or surpirse. A must for a gardner!

Dr. Martin's own introduction is just as beautiful as any of the poems found inside. I highly recommend this book.

The author combines scientific research and well reasoned arguments with a gift for communicating clearly. This is the most formative treatment I have read on the subject of gender issues.

Indermark offers daily scripture readings and reflections based on the text of Genesis. His approach is unusual for he deals strictly with the Genesis text and yet, his is a Christocentric approach in that the reflections are appropriate for the season of Lent as readers move toward the passion and resurrection of Christ. Indermark's reflections feel very contemporary and breathe a new sense of relevance to this old biblical book.

This book is a most inspiring book, comparing only to that of Silver Birch. Larry and Grace are two very gifted Mediums and channels for Spirit Awareness and guidance, centering only in truth in it's purest form. A must for anyone who desires to enjoy gentle, compassionate and understanding awareness from truth, leading to further spiritual self-growth.

This is a fantastic book - a powerful resource written specifically with birth parents in mind. A great perspective for adoptive parents and professionals in this field. Through her own story, the author gracefully addresses the difficult struggle of her unplanned pregnancy and shares her journey through the decision to place her child in an adoptive home.

These stories of 30 women are all interesting, but I found some to be captivating, exciting and mind-boggling. I particularly enjoyed the Mary Land chapter, her life has been a kaleidoscope and the light illuminating it is God's grace. Her Elvis story is representative of how God will use anyone who will yield to His prompting, maybe even me. This book really made me aware of God's involvement areas I always thought to be insignificant. What a comfort to know His grace is moving through my life, gently steering me toward His perfect will. Every story will not appeal to everyone, but some actually reached into my heart and caused me to realize the magnitude of God's grace which He extends to me, a nobody, just because He loves me.

The story of Guy of Warby, a young armorer who has the chance to become a knight when he meets his true father, a baron . He must struggle with mercenaries, a disordered household, and a father who was raised by a witch, and wants his son to join him. He also meets the daughter of his father's neighbor and enemy, a bastard like Guy, and a bond develops between them.

For anyone interested in this book, I know that the author wrote at least three other novels in the early 1960s under the name Doris Sutcliff Adams. One of them, "Power of Darkness" is set in the same location as "Gilded Spurs," but four generations later. All her books are set in the middle ages and anyone who liked one would enjoy the others, I am sure.
