I read this book out of nothing to do - and was glued to it immediately. Starting as a grim autobiography, it developes itself in so lively a way that, whatever you do, you feel that you cannot leave the life of Olivia. Filled with extremely well worked-through characters, an exciting plot and the ever-lasting feeling that you are going through the same events as the young heroine, this masterpiece deserves to be a classic, and no one should ever live without reading it.

This is a gravely underappreciated work of art by one of Sweden's finest novelists (if not the finest). The story is about hope, life, death and foresaken love in the realm of Charlemagne. A tribute, one might say, to the survival of intellect in the midst of unfettered violence and raw power.

as a long-time reader of Dennis the Menace, it was refreshing to know there was a religious comic book that was very enjoyable for young and old to read! Thankyou Hank Ketcham :)

The illustrations are top notch! The page shapes add extra appeal. The names of the dinosaurs are phonetically spelled for ease in pronounciation. My 2-year-old loves all the "At Your Fingertips" series board books. A must have for little ones who love dinosaurs!

Dorothy Hagan's first novel, The Edge of the Grace Period is a masterful slice of life in urban Texas. Her deep explorations into human relationships, however, cause any reader to relate closely with the characters. Ms. Hagan has written a well crafted work that is humorous, touching, spiritual and vividly descriptive. I couldn't put the novel down once starting it and highly recommend it to all readers.
