Tomorrow About This Time
An amazing book! The title refers to the Bible text, which is quoted to the father, the main male character, at the beginning of the story. Sure enough, his life is turned upside down by the events of the next 24 hours. His two daughters, half sisters by different mothers, both come into his life after having been deprived of their father for most of their lives. Completely different in personality and character, they resemble their respective mothers. An amazing transformation is subtly and incredibly accomplished in several of the characters by the end of the story, which has a strong underlying spiritual tone throughout.

I think this is a wonderful book.
I think that this book is a good one to curl up with on a rainy day. It doesn't have anything vulgar in it, and it is a true pleasure to read. This was the first book I have ever read that has been written by Grace Livingston Hill. It makes me itch to try other ones. Her writing style is clear and uses language that everyone can understand. If you have never read any of this truly exceptional author's books, now is the time to start. And don't think that this is just for adults. I am a 13 yr old teenager, and I enjoyed it very much. :)

The Jewish Art Book for the home
This is a book of photos that represent the Jewish Ceremonial Art Collection of a Chilean Couple;Jacocbo and Asea Furman. Each page has a full size photograph of the object and a detailed description of it on the other page. The art is beautiful and the range is wide. The only slight flaw in this book is that I would have included more of the collectors notes. They were fascinating. This is a top rate book and I am pleased it is in my collection. Libraries should include this as an art reseach item and it is fabulous for a coffee table.

WONDERFUL!
IT WAS ENTERTAINING AND FUN TO READ AND I ENJOYED THE PICTURES VERY MUCH.

Simply Wonderful...
This is one of my favorite books, kept by my bedside as I want it handy when I awake. This books is wonderful as it gives great practical insights to the mind of God. Each day offers new topics, themes and/ or challenges to the believer. The writing and subjects are well thought out and useful to a new Christian as well as someone long in the faith. The book has a great look and feel. It is nicely designed, with fine amenities such coated paper and a place ribbon. This is one of the best small format books I own in terms of content and design. Additionally it makes for an excellent gift! Well done!

9/11 entry is entitled ¿Is Evil Ever Good?¿
Like MacArthur, he is consistently relevant, but September 11th's entry isn't the only thing that makes this devotional good. This devotional is not to heavy and not to light. It offers clear and accurate Bible truths to feed on. You will spend a couple days on one theme that helps you learn rich spiritual truths. Anything by MacArthur is bound to increase your understanding of the Word! Nice size too.

Unashamed

Great-- wonderful. As soon as I finished reading I gave it to my twelve year old who aslo loved it. She has also read Unveiled.
We are having a hard time finding Unshaken and Unspoken and I still not been able to locate Unfraid.
These books are GREAT!!!!!

unveiled
I loved this book. As a 6th & 7th grade Sunday School teacher I used this book as a lesson plan for eight weeks. The girls loved it. So starting this Sunday, Jan 6, 2002 I will be starting the
book Unashamed. I feel that in this day and age teenage girls need to know that life has really not change all that much. They saw through Tamar that life sometimes is not fair but that God is faithful, that they are here for a purpose, that they will make mistakes but God has a plan for their lives. Thank you for helping me bring this lesson to life. I hope other teachers will do the same.
Sincerely,
Melissa N. Wyatt

Uncertain Grace by Rebecca Liv Wee
Extremely creative, poignant, and insight provoking, Uncertain
Grace invites new ways of seeing and knowing. Like verbal
holograms, Rebecca Wee's poems beckon the reader to assemble
multidimensional meanings which are both unique and universal,
private and profound. Her confrontational but empathic studies
compel sensitive and transcendent connections between external
beauty or pathos and inner self. A masterwork from a remarkable
thinker and artist, this refined and very beautiful collection
will stimulate, satisfy, and inspire for many years to come.

What a beautiful way to see things!
Sometimes sad, sometimes funny, the poems in this collection beautifully describe how we, as humans, respond to the world around us. By incorporating vibrant images with fragments of narrative, Rebecca Wee makes clear the connection between what we experience in the present and what we have previously experienced. As readers, we are reminded of the strange beauty of all that is around us, and encouraged to reflect upon those things we have seen or stories we have heard that we simply can't forget. Personally, I found that her poems inspired me to really "take in" the people and things I encounter on a daily basis and appreciate their poignancy, be it painful or pleasurable.

Excellent and fresh investigation of godly character.
Uncommon Graces is an uncommon book. It is one of those rare offerings that brings together wisdom, insight, biblical integrity, freshness, and creativity, and presents it with clarity and economy. This is no dull laundry list of Christian duties. It will both challenge and excite the reader. It was a real joy!

An excellent remedial course in living the Golden Rule.
Dr. Vawter's book is a wonderful review of the all to often forgotten social graces of gentleness, attentiveness, loyalty, candor, mercy, kindness, and repentance. It is pleasant to read and filled with personal examples taken from his own life's experiences.

Great reading, many humorous parts!
This is one of the best Grace Livingston Hill books I've ever written. It's great to see how Margaret befriends a bunch of rough-acting cowboys and they become her most loyal friends, even rescuing her when a jealous teenage girl plays a cruel trick that leaves her stranded alone in the desert.

One of the funniest parts is when several cowboys take a very bad excuse for a Presbyterian minister out and dunk him in a water trough after he preaches about how you don't need God in your life as long as you do good otherwise. Lance proves to be a good man time and again, although he tries to convince Margaret that he's not that wonderful.

A PAGE TURNER
LANCE GARDLEY IS THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN AND HERO. HIS FRIENDSHIP AND GROWING LOVE FOR MARGARET IS WONDERFUL. LANCE'S FRIENDS HAD ME LAUGHING ENDLESSLY, BUT THE BEST OF IT WAS THERE CHANGE WHEN THEY ENCOUNTERED MARGARET. THE PLOT SET AGAINST MARGARET BY A JEALOUS STUDENT WAS VERY INTERESTING. MARGARET ONLY HAS EYES FOR LANCE, BUT ROSA (THE STUDENT) THINKS MARGARET IS AFTER HER ADMIRER FORSYTHE, WHO USES WOMEN AND WANTS TO BE MORE THAN A "FRIEND" TO MARGARET. ROSA WAITS FOR HER CHANCE AND SO SETS OUT A WELL LAID PLAN. A BEAUTIFUL STORY. YOU'LL WANT TO READ IT OVER AND OVER.

Encapsulated Divinity
This book has so much light. Every page shines with images of divine, glowing faces. It shows pictures of people who have found the joy of being with the Self which guides us all. It descibes simple techniques which bring peace and contentment. There are many stories and information about Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and the Art of Living Foundation. Very well laid out and organized. Breathtaking images. Very soothing to the eyes and the mind.

Graceful Grace
Books can be about Enlightenment, but can a book itself be Enlightened? I don't know, but this book comes as close as any could. Every page is a work of art devoted to illustrating different aspects of Enlightenment, as embodied in Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. This book has many gifts to give, why not receive them?

An Avenue for Spiritual Metamorphosis
This book is a magnificent book that does nothing short of stirr the soul into movement. Her 1927 retreat: " Inner Grace and Outward Sign" is a true gift of grace! I read this book in the midst of a "dark night of the senses" - feeling lost and forsakened it gently and powerfully watered my parched and thirsty soul. Truly this woman must have been a channel of God's Grace and Spirit in her lifetime and her writings a gift to us all. Her retreats reawakened the desire in me to be open to God's ever present Spirit and Love, even, within the dryness and darkness. It made me better understand that the Spirit of God is ever moving and working in each one of us though we may not be able to clearly witness It's movement or hear Its silent murmurs. I recommend this book to all spiritual journeyers and believe that within its pages each will find the particular grace, light and courage needed.

An Avenue for Spiritual Metamorphosis
A magnificent collection of spiritual retreats that captures the soul exactly where it may find itself and stirs it to reawaken. Her 1927 retreat: "Inner Grace and Outward Sign" is grace itself! This book was a special "gift" to me when I found myself in the midst of the "dark night of the senses", felt lost and forsaken and my soul deep asleep. It awoke the desire to re-encounter God's Presence and Love, even within the "darkness" and find the courage that alone is found in Spirit. I recommend it highly to all and believe that within it's pages a "gift" of grace awaits for all who are in search of it.
