Comfort for the Heart
Yes, I am a biased reader. The author, Carolyn Rhea, is my mother, and this book is about the unexpected death of my father. On September 19, 1990, my father had a massive heart attack at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris - just months before my wedding. Through poetic prose, my mother gives others an insight into the grief process and provides comfort through scriptures. How sadly ironic that at the same time this book was published, my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. However, she maintains her grace, dignity and unquenchable faith that God is ever present and can work through any situation. I continue to pray for a miracle. Meanwhile, I hope you find comfort through her book. She truly wants to reach out to others who are also journeying through grief.

Comfort for the heart
Yes, I am a biased reader. My mother, Carolyn Rhea, wrote this very special book about my father's death. On September 19, 1990, he unexpectedly died of a heart attack at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. He died a few months before my wedding. They were such a close couple, and I truly feel blessed to have them as parents. Through her poetic prose, my mother expresses her conversations and confrontations with God. You will journey along with her through the "wilderness of grief" and understand more about the grief process. How sadly ironic that just as this special book was released, my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Yet, she maintains her grace, dignity and unquenching faith that God is ever present and can work through any circumstance. I continue to pray for a miracle. Enjoy the book!

White Orchids
A romance develops between the damsel in distress and her rescuer, and culminates in the spiritual birth of them both. It sounds like the standard GLH romance: gorgeous, impoverished but refined heroine with an ailing mother, rich and handsome man-to-the-rescue. But the characters are some of the most appealing of any in GLH's romances. I can read this one over and over.

Romantic!
I've read almost all of Grace Livingston Hill's books, and this remains a favorite. The hero is particularly appealing, and the relationship is believable and compelling. The friendships that Camilla and Jeff develop add nicely to the story.

EXCELLENT!
This is a book you won't put down. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Zaner Grace, you are my new favorite author!

Very entertaining!!!
I live near Huntsville, Texas where this story takes place. With that said, this book takes on a different meaning for me, I am able to visualize locations where events in the story are taking place. I must admit, that makes this story even more enjoyable!!! Zaner Grace has written a very "eventful" story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It usually takes me several weeks to read a book, but this book is a page turner, to say the least! The author takes you on a "hair-raising and spine tingling" adventure of psychological thrills, mystery and murder, with many suprises along the way. To anyone who may live in or near Huntsville, Texas or anyone familiar with Huntsville, this is a must read, you will enjoy this book, seeing your town in a different sort of light, making you realize the world is full of possibilities for any kind of story. My compliments to the author for a very good story and for keeping the setting as accurate as possible, it helps to make the book even more enjoyable, adding to the story itself.

Awesome
I didn't think Morgan could top DAUGHTER OF JOY but she's certainly done it with WOMAN OF GRACE. This story picks up where DAUGHTER OF JOY left off and is the story of the ex-prostitute, Hannah who Abby rescued from the brothel. Hannah and her baby have found a home at Culdee Creek and Hannah has been assisting Devin MacKay's wife. There are a lot of surprises in this story and to tell too much would rob the reader of much of the pleasure if too much is told. Suffice to say it's another powerful read from master storyteller Kathleen Morgan.

Beautifully Told Story! A parable of God's love!
Must Read this and the first in the series, Daughter of Joy. See reviews for the comb set of these two books, too. This book touched my soul. Passionate. Intriguing, surprises, and more...

About Grace: An Intimate Notebook

All About Grace...A Very Intimate Notebook
Sakol and Latham's "notebook", on the late Princess Grace of Monaco, is a fun checklist of the events that occured in Grace Kelly's remarkable life. The subjects revolving around and occuring in Grace's life are alphabetized, and rare pictures of the Hollywood Queen are a fun addition. "Did you know-s?..." spice the book up and add to its appeal. Overall it is a very appealing and stylish little trifle.

Abundant Gifts: A Daybook of Grace-Filled Devotions
This book discusses the abundant gifts that God has in store for us each and every day. The author not only urges us to discover these gifts in our own lives, but also shows many examples in these devotions. By living in an expectant fashion, we discover and are amazed at what God does to personally affect our lives. I would recommend this book for all who believe in God. Busy people who would like to take the time for a short devotion will appreciate how quickly it reads -- but the message of each devotion will touch hearts.

According to the Pattern
This is an incredible story about a wife's commitment to her husband and her marraige. It is a beautifully told story of unconditional love, flexibility, and determination to have a positive attitude and a spirit of of hope in the midst of the impossible. This is an example of someone who will not let the actions of her husband steal her dreams. Her faithfulness to God is reflected her faithfulness to her husband. As the story unfolds the reader is taken on what appears to be a fruitless journey, and yet is compelled to read on, not believing this wife is doing these incredible things toward what appears to be an obvious failure. I highly recommend this book for the entire experience - for what it gives the reader, and remains in the memory-just in case it is ever needed.
