practical and uplifting!
This book is a collection of daily meditations for Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered, and bisexual people. Each day features a very short meditation: about two paragraphs, which gives insight on what it means to be a G/L/T/B person in today's world. Very positive! This book has helped me, as a gay person, examine how I live my life and how I can change for the better. Make it part of your daily ritual! This book sometimes gives a challenge for the day: i.e. one day gives us the challenge that if we hide our sexual identity from others, we are only making things more difficult for us. Others will let us take a break: i.e. today, maybe we shouldn't think about our sexuality at all. Sometimes, this little book asks us to stand up for ourselves, and perhaps confront others who have "pushed us around" in the past because of our sexuality; other times, it suggests perhaps we are not accepting straight people, or making false assumptions about what they are thinking about us. I have to say, this book is definitely encouraging. I only wish I was given this book the first day I knew about my sexuality.

Helped Validate My Feelings
I really enjoyed this book. The scripture references and the beautiful proverbs used helped me to step back from my grief and look at it from a different perspective.

I highly recommend this book, even if you do not believe in God.

Delightful book for children and their parents
A fast-reading, short paperback which teaches children about God as Creator while sharing some fun science facts. The illustrations are large and attention-getting for the children. Readers learn how a hang glider is like a flying squirrel, and how a helicopter moves like a hummingbird. I frequently use this book as a gift , as well as reading it to my own children.

God IS the one who thought of it first!!!
This is a really great book. It really shows kids that even though people claim to have "invented" things, like the helicopter, for example, God is really the one who thought of it first! It uses examples from God's amazing creation to show how HE is original inventor! We read it to our Sparkies during AWANA and by the end, they were chanting "God's the one who thought of it first!" along with the leader who was reading the book!

This was a great book!
This was truly a great book! I enjoyed it and all the other books about gangs. You should read this when you get the chance. And I liked how it talked about the girl gangsters because most of these books are mostly just about the guys in the gangs. We need more books about the girls. I could read it again.

Ably edited and with informative commentary
Ably edited and with informative commentary by Joan Aruz, Ann Farkas, Andrei Alekseev, and Elena Korolkova, The Golden Deer Of Eurasia: Scythian And Sarmatian Treasures From The Russian Steppes is a showcase volume of spectacular artifacts crated from about the fifth to the fourth century B.C.E. by the nomadic people who lived on the steeps of the southern Ural Mountain region and uncovered by recent archaeology expeditions in Filippovka, Russia. The objects include wooden, deer-like creatures overlaid with sheets of gold and silver, as well as gold attachments for wooden vessels, leather, and fabric. Very highly recommended for art history, anthropology, and archaeology reference collections, The Golden Deer Of Eurasia is the catalogue for an exhibition presented by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and is a 320-page compendium of 335 illustrations (280 in color) and seven maps.
