Every description includes information about personality, appearance, health, likely vocational areas, interests, and attitudes. The chart of a well-known individual with that sun/ascendant blend is also a part of each description.

This work can serve as an excellent introduction to the field for the novice astrologer and is useful even to the pro.

This book has very useful information and is well researched. It is divided into chapters such as Beaches, Museums, Scenic Drives, etc. Southwest Florida is a huge area and a location index or a better map should have been included, but the information alone is worth 5 stars.

This beautiful publication makes you feel fortunate to live in an era when hardbound books filled with juicy pictures printed on quality paper stock are still here for the wonder of our minds and hands. For some reason the multifaceted brilliant artist Bruce Conner is not very well known outside rarefied circles of experimental film-o-philes or assemblage art fans, and this book should go a long way to correct such an egregious oversight. The essays are substantive, intelligent, and lure readers into discoveries about the works of this compelling character, and the design of the book is a joy, filled with many cinematic touches and liberally sprinkled with gorgeous color reproductions. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best teaching related devotion book I have found. The stories and prayers are very well written. I have been amazed over and over as God has spoken to me through this book, often it is just the same type of situation my students and I are going through. Every teacher should be blessed by having this book!

Well written for a child's view point. Includes planning, safety and packing ideas. Simple, travel friendly (no big deal if it gets dirty or lost) list of supplies. Encourages use of imagination and creativity on everyone's part... including adults.

Several activities make neat souvenirs. Our favorite is Live! From the Road - tape recording interviews throughout the trip... Fun way to document when you don't want to video tape folk's just sitting in the van or plane. Our older kids ham it up by making up songs and silly commercials. Great way to get "at the moment/in their own words" thoughts of younger kids who can't write/draw well yet. We make up our own 50s style radio shows including sound effects or news broadcasts with breaking events, etc.

I'm always stressing the importance of working together/teamwork to my class (and my own kids), but there aren't many fiction easy to read books on the topic. This book works in the teamwork aspect in a really clever way and kids love the funny spelling bee. The art is bright and appealing. Nice!
