very disappointed in the book. alot of the ingredients used in the recipes are impossible to find. and measurements are done in grams. for the average housewife in the usa not a sensible cookbook to use.

This book was required for my course on the Psychology of Women. I don't think i ever got past the first chapter. It is extremely technical, and so overly organized that it's like reading a detailed outline that goes on for hundreds of pages. If you are looking for a good sleep aid, however, just curl up with this book and you'll be out like a light in no time.

when i ordered this book i thought it was going to discuss the symbols it collected about the zodiac... well, it didn't. it does an average job of listing alot of trivial information about the various symbols associated with each sign of the western zodiac, but it says nothing about how these associations came about, nor does it really focus on anything the would render the zodiac charming, beautiful, or fascinating. this is a list of colors, flowers, and birds not an examination of symbology. what it boils down to is a few skimpy lists that look like about as much effort went into them as a 3rd grader's book report
