Great book! saw the movie it was cool!
This is a 5 star book! it's great . the best book I READ SO FAR!!
description!
What a great book! I have rarely seen a novelization that so closely matches the movie. There was only one extra subplot that I could spot and it didn't detract in any way from the rest of the story. the author is very good at describing the action scenes, especially the dogfight at the begining. Overall, a really great book, except I think that the author dwells too much on the romance angle, but she does provide us with some nice background info on the pilot, Don West. If you liked the movie, read the book, and vice versa.
Love Never Dies
Published in Hardcover by Xlibris Corporation (August, 1998)

A wonderful reading book.
A wonderful story of the connections between those of us on this earth, and those of us who have already passed to another plane. It includes some amazing details on how we are helped by our guardian angels, and how we can have these helpers changed, as well as help in understanding how our thoughts, good and bad, have an impct on those who have died.It includes a very insightful description of what happens when a human dies, and where our soul goes at that moment. Mrs Williams' guide describes how the newly departed soul is taken care of and helped in his/her new surroundings, something that should comfort all of us here on earth. Her comments on how the living should deal with a suicide helped me understand what I can do to help both the person who took their own life and also myself. If we can think of the day of death as "our new birthday" perhaps it will make death easier for all of us, those who die and those who are left behind.
Reading this book will give hope to everyone who has to deal with death, as we all have to, both for ourselves and those we love.
Great book if dealing with the loss of a loved one.
When I first read "Love Never Dies" I was enthralled. I could not put it down. Other books on losing someone you love always dealt with more mundane matters, relocation, care of finances, energizing oneself. That is hard to do when your whole world is shattered. But "Love Never Dies" goes beyond the mundane. Ms. Williams comes alive on the pages, as does her late husband. She talks of the trauma she went through, the despair, but then there shines through the account of contact with him again, the love she thought had died with him comes alive once more. Ms. Williams not only writes of her experiences, she gives aid and comfort to the reader, teling them how to achieve what she has achieved, albeit with patience. "Love Never Dies" also deals with some of the pitfalls that beset the bereaved. Sometimes we find that friends do not really understand what this is all about and make unknowingly hurtful comments. No one really understands your troubles until that have walked in your shoes. Ms. Williams lets the reader know throughout the book that she has been there, and she deals with all kinds of bereavement from many sources. "Love Never Dies" also tells how to help those we love who are no longer with us. To know that we can take an active part in helping and loving those who have gone before us gave me a tremendous boost. I no longer felt frustrated and helpless and lonely. I could do something constructive to help the one I lost, and in doing so, help myself. Ms. Williams' informal style of writing draws the reader in. I felt as though I were sitting at her dining table and listerning to her while we had coffee. She did, indeed, help me work through my grief because she made me feel that I was not alone; that somebody else had been there before me; that someone else knew the emptiness and pain I was feeling. "Love Never Dies" is a wonderful book to read, not only for those who have lost a loved one, but simply for the interesting and uplifting story it tells.

A must for ferret fans and future Photoshoppers
The visual effects in this photo book are quite well done, and are a great way to introduce kids to the magic of what kind of visuals can be accomplished with computer programs. It might also teach them not to believe everything they see ;-) A helpful "how we did it" page gives a brief peek into how the effects were produced.
That bit of educational endorsement aside, the ferret in the book is absolutely adorable and ferret fans will find Mac Side Up to be well worth the price of admission.
This Delightful Book
Fans of ferrets, cats and photography will enjoy this cleverly written and photographed saga of two furry friends Mac (the cat) and Dusty (the ferret) who try to solve a very puzzling riddle. I highly recommend it for the wonderful visuals and delightful storytelling!
--And I know how hard ferrets are to photograph!--

Arly's Back and Better than Ever.....
It was Hizzoner, Jim Bob Buchanon's big day. Jim Bob's Supersaver Buy 4 Less was ready to open. The ribbon cutting ceremony was beginning, the high school band was playing, the cheerleaders were cheering, and the crush of the crowd had created a traffic jam in sleepy Maggody, Arkansas (population 755). With the deli, fresh produce department and food service picnic pavillion, some of the local merchants were far from happy, afraid ol' Jim Bob would put them out of business. But big events like this don't happen too often in Maggody, and so the whole town turned out to check out the new competition and try some of the promised, free "gourmet" food. Within minutes, people started getting sick and dropping like flies, and the big opening became the big closing. With her hands full of citizen complaints, health inspectors, and threats from Hizzoner, Chief of Police, Arly Hanks, could barely keep up with all the chaos, gossip, and rumors. But when another round of poisoning ensues, and a local dies, Arly figures this isn't just some mean spirited prank, turns up the heat on her investigation, and she won't stop until she gets to the truth..... Turn off the phone, and lock the door, Joan Hess is back with another marvelous romp through Maggody that will have you laughing out loud, and rooting for Arly to the very end. Her well paced story line is full of entertaining, vivid scenes, and intriguing subplots, and her writing is crisp and smart, complete with witty, irreverent dialogue and back-woods humor. But it's Ms Hess' wacky and quirky cast of characters that makes this novel stand out, and once you've gotten to know Maggody's finest, and not so finest, you'll be hooked for sure. With a hilarious climax that deftly ties all the story threads together, and a very satisfying conclusion, Madness In Maggody is a pleasure to read in a series that just gets better with each new installment. For those new to Arly Hanks and company, start at the beginning with Malice In Maggody, and read them all. For those who are already fans, enjoy!
The funniest mystery series ever!
The Maggody series is the funniest mystery series that I have ever read. The characters are very well developed, and it does not take long before you feel like a citizen in this bizarre little town.

Great resource for collectors and modern majolica-artists.
First saw this magnificent volume at a collector's home, and had to acquire a copy for my library as inspiration for my own artistic endeavors with majolica.
One of the definitive books on Victorian Majolica
People all over the world treat this as the "Bible" of Victorian Majolica. It is the best.

Easy and Practical!!
I had a summer design class and since the class was so condensed, we designed and constructed projects on a daily basis. For my final project, I had to construct a book. I only had 2 days to do it and since I knew I wanted to make my own papers, I needed some direction. I used this wonderful book and not only did it have very clear directions with concise illustrations, the supplies needed were on a very practical level. That means I didn't have to purchase extra supplies I probably would never use again. My book turned out so beautiful, I got an A+! I now make papers as a hobby and I owe it all to this great book.
Making Your Own Paper really works!
I loved this book! I am a calligrapher and amateur bookmaker, and found this to be a valuable addition to my library. The pictures and text instructions are clear, and the projects were interesting and fun. Projects included cards, gift boxes, and mobiles, as well as some more advanced craft techniques. The author focuses on easy-to-obtain equipment and materials, making this a good choice for beginners like me. I also found it a good volume for sparking my brain when my creativity flagged.

I great Historical story.
"Maria's Story 1773" is perfect for young readers, but can reinforce Colonial history to older readers, as well. The story will keep your attention and is a quick read. This book is too young for me, but I still enjoyed it. I really felt torn between the mother's feeling of telling the news and freedom of speech, but also felt for Maria, who felt that if her mother published articles that the community wouldn't like, they wouldn't get the newspaper contract again, which would lead to losing everything. What is great about the "Colonial Willamsburg" series, is that readers are learning about ordinary people who really existed. Without this series, I doubt these people, like Maria, would get acknowledge for their hard working lives. After finding out Maria's life in the epilogue, I felt sorry for her and her losses. I recommend.
The fifth historical story from the Young Americans series.
The year is 1773, and nine-year-old Maria Rind is growing up in Williamsburg, Virginia, with her four brothers. When her father dies, the family's life changes forever. Instead of spending her days with her children, Maria's mother must take on her late husband's job of printing the Virginia Gazette. While her older brother, William, gets to help his mother and her cousin, John, print the paper, Maria is left to the tiresome task of caring for her three younger brothers. She is unable to help with the paper because of her poor reading and writing, a result of there being little time for her parents to teach her. With the loyalties of everyone in the Colonies increasingly divided as war looms on the horizon, Maria is worried that her mother's anti-British articles will cause her to lose the government printing contract. This book brought to life the years before the Revolutionary War. Maria was a real child who grew up in Colonial Williamsburg, and the author has done a wonderful job of telling her story.

Ever Jet owner should have a copy
Excellent book to walk you through the basics of rebuilding a Jet drive. It will take you through disassembly and assembly step by step. I would recommend it to anyone that is rebuilding or considering rebuilding a Jet.
This book does not cover Blueprinting just the basic rebuild and it is a little weak on tolerance information for the Berkley jet drives. But well worth having anyway.
everything you need to know
This book is an excellent overview of the major jet drives in use today. It is somewhat technical, but nothing covered in it could not be handled by a proficient do it yourself mechanic. The book also covers basic engine troubleshooting. An exccellent resource, it offers step by step instructions.
