This book is most definately for serious minded Christian or for Christians who want a deeper spiritual knowledge thru the King's James version. The author leads you through "Adam's Odyssey" with scripture references to back his input of this book. My suggestion is, if you are going to read this book, is to read it with an open mind to God and his Word. I assure you that you will mature spititually if you study this book and BE SURE to have your King James Version as your Bible. In my opinion, this writer has written "Adam's Odyssey" with a sincere heart and with also a deep spiritual heart, mind, and soul. I read the entire book and plan now to go into a deeper study of the book through the Kings James Bible. You are never going to be truly happy and at peace until you are in God's perfect will. For husband's that's the role of head, and for wives its the role of helpmeet. This book has changed my marriage and it's so much better now than I ever thought it could be. Pastor Scott brings these Biblical truths in a down to earth practical way that you can understand and start applying immediately. A must read for every Christian!

This is an extremely well written account of a young detective's experience trying to apprehend drug dealers. Unfortunately everything goes wrong and the detective ends up in court himself accused of perjury. It is a true story and a very, very accurate account of what policing London was like in the 1970's, in particular focussing on the Drug Squad at Scotland Yard. I am a London Police Officer and was working in London's West End during the time of this book. I remember the incident and the trial. I met Adam - the subject of the book. Reading the book brought back vividly graphic memories of that era. The book will give the reader a feeling of the excitement, pressures, problems and heartaches of real police work. I recommend it to anyone.

A highly recommended read....for those trying to sort through the confusion of modern Mormonism.
The authors views on the doctrine of Mormon deity was a refreshing alternative to the monotony of mainstream Mormonism and mainstream Christianity. I was thoroughly impressed with the apparent attention to historical accuracy.
Mr. Tholson's passion for the truth in everyday living for the common Mormon has compelled me to explore further into his works, writings, and inner thoughts. Intimate thoughts and arguments into the historical context of which Adam-God relates to the teachings of Joseph Smith and the revelations which define Mormonism have awakened my blind eyes.
I recommend this book to all Mormons and Christians alike searching for a deeper truth...

This book is a useful brief review and compendium of diagnostic neurological information. The paperback version is small enough to carry around or put in a briefcase. The book packs a considerable amount of information into about 400 pages. There are a couple of dozen chapters, organized according to the usual neurological disease categories, and there are a number of nicely done charts and tables that make good, quick references. Keep in mind this book is not intended to be exhaustive and is meant as a quick review or reference. It is intended for practicing physicians, so familiarity with the technical and medical terminology is assumed, and most technical terms are not explained. The book benefits from recent research, and contains up-to-date information on such rapidly changing areas as Alzheimer's. The book has references into Adams and Ropper's larger neurological handbook for those who want more information. Overall a good, concise reference work in neurology.

While I have enjoyed the most recent work by David McCullough on Adams, this was the book that started it all for me as far as American history was concerned. I remember at the age of 11 watching the PBS series and being enthralled. This book was even better in relaying the story of America's greatest socio-political family. If you can find a copy, get it!
