I purchased this book for my 10 year old to work on during summer vacation. Delaware is deep into education standards, writing and problem solving. This book touches it all! The "word problems" are great short stories and deal with topics children are familiar with. The questions after each story challenge children in reading comprehension as well as math skills. I would recommend this book for teachers as well as parents for enrichment purposes.

Wow! I would have loved to have had a book like this when searching for my first job. The authors reviewed every possible lunch and dinner interview etiquette scenario and even included helpful tips from career services directors around the country. '60 Minutes to Success' is a must read for any job seeker, college student, MBA candidate or law school grad. I'm going to buy it for my granddaughter, Debbie, who will graduate from the University of Pennsylvania in May.

Let me tell you something...there are NO SUCH THINGS as optical aberrations. They are a figment of this Welford's imagination! He made them up, and somehow convinced the world that they are a serious concern in imaging systems. All I know is, if I see Welford, I'm going to let him have it!

This book is very exciting and interesting from from the begining to the end. It tells how Abigail almost dies as a child. She lived through the Revolution. Abigail also marrys the second President and is the mother of the sixth President.

I wrote this book, and it is NOT for ages 9-12. It's a young adult book, for ages 12 and up. Some younger kids might be able to read it, but the average nine-year-old won't be able to. Whew! What a novel! Like a Caribbean jungle, it literally steams in your hands. I didn't want this adventure to end. And the child was touching. Kitt has a gift in creating child characters. And the action rose and fell like the tide. It swept me away. I couldn't put it down, but that shouldn't surprise me. With every book Sandra Kitt just keeps getting better and better. This is a whole, new genre that's exploding. In addition to Kitt, there are some other stars to watch. Robyn Amos and Gwynne Forster create page turners; Francis Ray, Lynn Emery, Felicia Mason, and Ebonie Snoe are pros, too. Next to kitt, my favorite is Rochelle Alers. Wow, she can spin a tale! These are the top writers in the genre. Stick with them and you can't go wrong. There are a few others, but they aren't worth mentioning, and they certainly aren't worth your money. Kitt is a born storyteller, and her talent is richly evident in Adam and Eva. The books spring to life, with pungent smells and tropical vistas. This book would make a great movie, with Whitney Houston in the lead role. For Christmas this year stuff every stocking with a novel by Kitt.
